Chapter 49: Playing Snow

Next week we were all invited by Sania's mother to go to the mall, not that we want to shop but to try the snow rides in it.

It all looks like the real thing.

I said to Nurman.

"You brought him?"

"You mean the hidden camera we can hide in the locker room."

"No. No, that's not it, I mean this," I said flat while pointing at the green bottle.

"Barjan's bottle."

Erin, Natalie and Ms. Sania looked at us while crouching down.

"You're bad."

I had previously brought two bowls that we could use to scoop snow into it, then poured syrup over it.

"Wait for Arta, what if this snow is a dangerous mix."

"It's obviously impossible, even so you shouldn't eat it" Mother Sania cut.

"It's been this far, we've got to try."

Nurman and I made up our minds and ate it and rolled around on the snow.

"Uwaaahh."

"My brain too."

"That's you yourself."

In Indonesia there is no such thing as snowing, so all of you are here we want to know what snow feels like and now we regret it.

Natalie clapped her hand to draw attention.

"Only I have skated, then I will teach you all one by one."

Erin and Mother Sania immediately turned their eyes, Mother Sania who first replied.

"I thought I'd just play the slide like a kid."

Then why are you taking us? I said in my heart.

"I'm coming with Madam Sania."

The two walked away, as I turned towards Nurman he had vanished and left only myself.

"The art?"

"What can I do, please teach me."

A few falls and a few rises have drained me a lot of strength. Skiing is hard for beginners.

My skills are clearly far away compared to them.

We played all day in the snow and afterwards spent time in a warm cafe while accompanied by a cup of coffee and tea.

"I have a lot of photos now that I can show my parents in the village."

"Don't tell me Sania's mom took us for it?" asked Nurman curiously.

"Well, my parents were a little worried about me, now they're gonna find out that I'm okay here."

I bet he said we were not his students but his age.

Madam Sania continued.

"In addition, I also planned to make a birthday surprise for Cupid, would you like to help me?"

"Without being asked, we will help immediately" I replied, thus getting the nod of everyone.
