Chapter 04: The Cat Doll

The next morning when I came out, Natalie was already at the door with a different appearance. She was wearing a white dress with a bag hanging over her shoulder.

"Anu, I'm ashamed to be seen like that."

"Thank you, leave now."

I nodded in agreement before finally locking the door and leaving with Natalie. We were both silent even when we reached a famous mall.

I definitely can't let it, think quickly. After thinking enough about it I got a good sentence.

"Are we just buying a cell phone and going home again?"

"Where possible, we'll have fun even I've written the schedule."

Natalie took out a roll of paper from inside her bag, and it was really very long.

"Why didn't Arta try it, too?"

"On that, I can't do it, I'm the passive type" I replied as I gave Natalie's bag.

"Heh, I think Arta looks athletic too... How else, want to try another game?"

I nodded in response, something like this makes me nervous especially this is the first time I went with someone, especially she is a girl.

Near the door was a claw machine where the prize was a doll. Even if I tried it I wasn't sure I'd win it, but Natalie pulled me.

I could only sigh softly as I put the coin into it, with a careless move I chose to take the doll that was appointed by Natalie, it was just an orange stuffed cat.

I don't know why I managed to do it.

"Why was Arta even surprised?"

I took the doll from inside the machine and gave it to Natalie.

"Thank you Arta, I'm thirsty right now?"

"For that let me pay, I won't let a girl keep treating me. I still had some pride," hearing that Natalie was laughing, she leaned her body a little towards me and then said cutely as she grabbed the hair by her ear.

"I don't mind."

We decided to visit the cafe upstairs, when the waiter came I ordered black coffee.

"Black hat, Arta is very mature. Then I'm also."

Actually I secretly put sugar in it.

"No, no, you wouldn't be able to drink it better order juice or something else."

"I'm an adult, I'll keep drinking bitter coffee, please order that as well."

I nodded towards the waiter before he left and returned with our coffee.

"I'm an adult, bitter coffee is nothing to me."

As Natalie took a sip she dropped her face on the table with nausea.

"It's so bitter, don't those adults have any good taste?" I just watched as I smiled wryly at him.
