Rise From the Past

"From now on, you don't have to hide your identity. From the beginning, I knew you, David," Keysha said.

David was stunned for a moment. It was as if I could not believe the words that came out of Keysha's mouth.

David continued to push himself, not caring about the attitude Keysha showed towards him.

"Go!!" Keysha pushed David which made the man almost topple over. Some people looked at the two, but David did not give them a look.

David got back up, he immediately carried Keysha's body, as if the girl's body was very light, as light as cotton.

Keysha rebelled, David kept holding the girl. The punch or pinch from Keysha did not make himself give up just like that. In the end, Keysha gave up on his own stubbornness.

"Why do you still care about me! you shouldn't be acting like this" Keysha said sobbing.

David holds Keysha, takes the girl to the car. The man took the p3k box that was in his car. He treated Keysha's injured knee from the fall.

Slowly, David cleaned Keysha's wounds using clean water. Keysha occasionally scrunched his forehead because he felt pain. After that David wiped it with a tissue, slowly he also applied antibiotic ointment to Keysha's wound and blew it so that it did not hurt too much. Then wrap it with a bandage.

David's warm attitude made Keysha feel full. There is guilt in him for being rude to the man in front of him.

"I'm sorry for being rude to you" Keysha said.

"I was also wrong for not being honest. But I'm afraid, if you're gonna get away from me. I was too greedy to make you near me. I shouldn't be bothering you right now, but...."

Keysha had not finished his sentence, and suddenly David landed a kiss on his forehead. The soft and warm lips were long enough to stick to his forehead.

Keysha closed his eyes, the kiss made his heart warm up instantly. David also landed his lips on Keysha's eyes. The man wiped away the traces of tears that were on the beautiful face of the girl of his past.

"You know, from a long time ago I liked your pretty eyes. However, I prefer it if you look back at me with a smile" said David softly.

"Not only are you greedy, I also realize that I am just like you. At first I just wanted to make sure if I was just feeling sorry for seeing your condition like this. However, the longer I wanted to take care of you, and my little heart said that I couldn't just leave you alone" David said.

A tear fell on Keysha's cheek. David immediately rubbed the clear hair that soaked the girl's face.

"Don't cry, I'd rather see you smile" the man continued.

Keysha nodded slowly.

"If there is a donor, you should do corneal removal surgery. Do not refuse again to do so because of past events" concluded David.

"Do you know that?" ask Keysha.

"Sir Danu told me everything" David said.

"You too must go on with your life, if you continue to live like this, always lamenting your fate that yesterday you will never be able to rise, Key. Think positive, let's get up! and let's do surgery for your recovery."

Keysha let out a heavy sigh, the girl thought for a moment and shortly afterwards nodded slowly.

Seeing this, David was happy. He immediately grabbed Keysha's body without permission. He managed to persuade the girl in front of him to do healing in his eyes.

"I'm gonna enroll you in some hospital as a donor patient. If one day there will be a donor, you must not change your mind again, because you promised me" said David.

"All right," said Keysha with a smile.

David pulls Keysha's nose in a fit of rage, just like he did a long time ago. The two talked and laughed occasionally.

After it was felt that the day had begun to afternoon, David again took Keysha to the restaurant first because the girl's bag was left in his room.

"Come with me or stay in the car?" ask David.

"Ah, better come with me first. I'll make you something" said the man.

Keysha shook his head slowly, but David kept pushy. The man opened the car door and immediately carried Keysha's body out of the car.

"Let me down, though I can't see, I can guess many eyes are staring at us" Keysha whispered.

A bouquet of flowers fell to the ground. David turned to look at the figure behind him.
