Long River
Witnesses

Leka opened the door to Runi's room. The little girl was sitting on the foam carpet watching tv. Sometimes he laughs at the cartoon tv shows he watches. He did not realize Leka came because he was so focused on watching tv. Leka placed the tray on the carpet and lifted the plate. He started feeding Runi.

"Mmh, mmm!" Runi pointed the tv at her mother with her mouth full of chewing.

"Yes, what is it?" Leka looked at the tv.

Runi looked at Leka confusedly.

"That's a bird. Yea?" Leka told.

Runi continued to chew and then asked again. "Mmh, mmm!"

"Oh, is that a giraffe?"

Runi looked at Leka.

"Je-ra-pah." Leka started bribing again while teaching.

Since the morning, Runi has not moved from the tv. This is the first time he has his own tv because previously in the village he had to go to a neighbor's house to be able to watch television.

Just a moment later the meal was over. He began to enjoy his days in the apartment because his mother had more time with him and he had a tv, a soft bed and a cool house.

The office looks excited. Any work is done well and on time. Not only did Zaki look astonished, even the roommates with him could see the difference. Sometimes Aska hummed and muttered as if she herself could not hide her joy.

"Happy(happy) really!" Ledek Zaki's.

"Oh, ho ho you know. If I see the food I like, my mood is good."

"It looks different!"

"What?" Aska frowned with a smile that she could not hide.

"Like a man in love."

Aska was a little surprised. "Ah, time? I'm like this when I see good food, right?"

"You're different, 'happy' with 'happy'."

"What?" Aska narrowed her eyes.

"Well, tell me frankly, who did you meet?" Zaki stood up from his seat and circled his desk leaning against the table.

"Meet who what? Yeah, nothing."

"Don't hide anything from your best friend, I know. My instincts are sharp Ka." Zaki started to urge him.

Aska glanced around her. The office was busy and he did not want anyone to know about his personal life, so he spoke originally. "There was. Old people."

"Who? The ex?"

Aska just looked down. He played the end of the paper he was holding.

"Yuk, come out for a second. We're refreshing.(Refreshing)"

Aska follows Zaki to the veranda where Zaki used to smoke but this time he doesn't smoke.

"Why are you stingy on me now?"

"Ah, not really." But Aska did not dare to look into Zaki's eyes, he just lowered his gaze.

"There's something you've been hiding, Ka, to me. I know, and someday people will know too. So, shouldn't my best friend know better?"

Aska was doubtful.

"If you still think of me ...."

"It's not so Ki. You're in trouble, I don't want to add to your burden anymore."

"Lho, it's good news what sad news anyway, why am I so confused." Zaki does look confused, he increasingly does not understand what happened to Aska.

Aska sighed. He had to tell Zaki. He put his hands on the fence and looked out. He himself could not bear to hold it himself.

"I married Ki, 2 years ago." Aska said it in a low voice.

"Seriously?" Zaki was really surprised.

"Yes, but it was in an emergency. The woman helped me who was drifting in the river but the people in her village were mistaken. We were forced to marry on the scene."

Zaki. "When that?"

"That's .. my car broke down outside the city. If it's not wrong, it's Friday. Because it's a holiday tomorrow so no one's paying attention and my parents are in America."

"So your parents don't know?"

"Yes, until now."

"Can't you?"

"I left him."

"What?" Zaki looked at Aska. "You're sadistic too."

"Yes, but I was panicking at the time. I can't accept that marriage. I'm really angry but I can't be mad at him. I know, he's a victim too."

"But leaving it is also ...."

"I know I was wrong. For the past two years I've been damning to keep this guilt with her, until we meet again."

"When?"

"Yesterday."

Zaki is confused to see Aska. "Then why do you look happy, don't you not like that woman?"

"Ki's son, his son is funny."

"Kids?" Zaki frowned.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Your son?" Zaki's trying to figure it out.

"Yes." Yeah."

"You were the first night with her?"

"Eh, that .. I was getting carried away." Aska tried to explain.

"Do you like it or not?"

"Eh, that moment .. I tried to calm him down anyway. We've had a fight."

"And it happened ...."

"Yes." Yeah."

Zaki straightened his hand over the fence and looked out. He looked for a moment and then spoke. "We men are asked to determine many things but not all men are wise. We can be wrong too. It's nice to meet a woman who can understand that."

"Mk."

"So what happened?"

"I'm holding it."

"meaning?"

"At home."

"Yes, but what do you mean by that?"

"Aaahh .. You're as silly as me!"

"I just want to know if I can love her."

"Because of the child?"

"Yes .. one of them."

"If you're not divorced?"

"But I want the boy."

"But with your parents?"

"Don't know yet. We're gonna try to live together for a month. If it works out, I'll tell my parents."

"But it's hard."

"I know."

"So you're actually happy because of what?" Zaki then thought again.

"I already have a cute kid on his face. I like it."

"Not her mother?"

Aska smiled. "I don't know either."

"Good fight." Zaki patted his best friend's shoulder.

"Thank you."

In an SD International School (International School) whose building is magnificent, the atmosphere looks quiet until the bell rings. A female teacher in one of the 6th classrooms, just smiled facing the classroom and closed her book. "Yes already. Because there are still many who do not understand, today I do not love the task first huh?"

The kids cheered with excitement.

"Thank you, ma'am" Zack said politely. He sat at the front of the teacher's desk.

"But please find out who spilled this oil, on Mom's seat, so the stains can't be lost." The teacher looked upset.

"Oh, ready Mom." Zack who was the class leader tilted his fist in front of his forehead.

The mother then tidied up her belongings on the table and stepped out. The children made sure the teacher had gone away before they cheered happily.

Raden patted Zack on the shoulder while laughing. "Great Zack, not a single teacher knows that Zack who is famous for being polite, smart and so the class president also turns out to be the culprit of the fuss."

"I've never made a fuss. Jahil is." Zack rubbed his back hair.

"Yes a prank."

"I'm just helping out a little." Zack.

"Gue Seneng you can help us-we are here. So at least the exam can be delayed by a day." Danang grabbed the shoulders of his two best friends.

"It's okay."

"Zack!" Call Aiko. "Come ...."

"Eh, I'm first, huh? Yuk." yuk."

His two best friends notice Aiko and Zack going to the cafeteria. Danang put his hand on Raden's neck while whispering. "That tomboy is like Zack's crush, right?"

"Seeh ...."

"The impression that girls used to come to Zack is invisible. Take care of the lion."

They both laughed.

A sedan car is parked on the shoulder of the road. A tall man was getting out of the car. He stared at the crowded sales stalls visited by buyers in front of him. It has been replaced new. Also sold, chicken soto. The man touched a middle-aged man who was sweeping the yard with a broomstick nearby.

"Yes?"

"Where do you sell chicken pecels?" He lifted his sunglasses over his head.

"Oh, she's been taken by her husband."

"His husband?"

"Yes, she's gone with her husband."

"Thank You Sir." The man put his sunglasses back on.

"Yes, yes."

The man then got back in the car and left. "Haduh ... Where else do I have lunch?" He said drive his car.

A slightly dark-skinned teenage girl was eating alone in the cafeteria. He came a little late because he did not like to meet many of his friends because they would mock the girl.

"Eh, there's a tangled curly here." A boy approached and touched her curly, blooming hair.

The girl kept quiet as she continued eating.

"Surprisingly, kayak kribo chicks eat sushi." The boy laughed with his friends.

"Don't bother me." The girl scrunched her forehead.

But the boy was even more eager to justify it. He took the chopsticks held by the girl.

Of course the girl was angry. "Hey give it back ...." He chased. The boy ran away.

Suddenly a bule boy stood before the boy with an annoyed face. "Hey, come back and don't chopsticks me!" His impact.

"Damn(fucking), why do you have to go along anyway? Adek from where else? His face is different."

"It's none of your business!" He said in an angry voice.

But it wasn't this bule guy who scared the boy. The beautiful girl of Japanese blood who stood behind that Caucasian guy who was scaring him, he looked inflamed.

"Yes, just borrow a minute, get angry." The boy then returned the chopsticks to the curly-haired girl and then left them all to go with his friends.

"Lydi, how did you eat at this hour?" Zack approaching.

The girl smoothed her chopsticks. "It's okay, brother."

"You want what else to buy?" Zack sat down next to Lydia.

"Son, it's Brother." Lydia glanced at Aiko's annoyed face.

"For what the hell are we going back and forth here looking for Lydi, he can't defend himself?"

Zack. "Ah, he's my brother. I gotta make sure she's eating."

"It's okay, brother," said Lydi slowly.

"No, I'll wait here until you finish eating and go to class."
