Little Hearts in Your Heart
Chapters 10. First Meetings

Miki crossed her arms in front of her chest. He did not stop sighing, heavy, looking at the girl who had been sitting in front of his desk.

Kaori did not stop smiling. His back is moving side-to-right. His toes moved, feeling cramped letting his weight occupy the legs. But, he should look polite in front of his favorite author.

“You know, it's seven o'clock, you should go home now,” Miki said and looked at the clock on her phone screen. He did not understand the meaning of the girl who followed him to his apartment. Fortunately, he had already cleaned up, otherwise his reputation would be ruined.

“Sensei hasn't made me tea,” there's a pinta in Kaori's voice. His sentence had turned out to be as formal as ever, more so than when he was seriously trying to learn.

Miki sneering. Then he went to the kitchen. After this, he would throw her out again. He was looking for tea, but could not find it. “Coffee, no problem right?” miki shouted as she only found the sachet coffee.

“Iya, sensei,” reply Kaori and enter the kitchen. “Oh yes, sensei, I thought you were a man.”

“Eh?” Miki snorted, recalling Kaori's comment when she first met. He blamed electric stoves for heating the water.

Kaori leaned against the kitchen doorway. “I thought, you will live in a dark and blood-filled place,” he said casually, making Miki sneer. “Turnal, Redy-sensei, cute girl, beautiful.”

Miki would not smile to hear. “You sit down, there,” he said.

Kaori nodded, “but, why use the name Redy? Because they like blood? Sensei really does not want to be known?” kaori said, considering there are no photos of the author.

“Blood?” murmured Miki, grunting. “What are you saying? That's because I love red. I used that name a long time ago, so I thought the unknown was good enough. Let alone hearing people comment.”

Kaori pointed at herself. “Oh,” He smiled and returned to Miki's room. He looked at some red things. Like the room that is equipped with many accessories or black furniture. He laughed a little.

Kaori looked out the window. Her cheeks are fluffy, “It's dark,” murmured. He then turned and stopped, looking at the table, he reached for a collection of papers with the words First Love Star. He hugged her as Miki's voice approached.

“Sensei, this is your rejected manuscript?” tanyanya, lifting the script Miki. He remembers once when Miki told him about Redy's rejected script.

“Ehm. Put it down and drink it fast, you should go home soon,” Miki said and put two cups of coffee on the short table.

“I can read it.”

“No,” reject Miki, direct. “That's very laughable,” murmured.

“Let me read it and afterwards I will comment on the bad part,” Kaori said without stopping smiling.

“No.” Miki grunting. “I've heard from the editor. So you don't have to.”.

“Sensei, I may have a different view from the editor,” sela Kaori. “If you don't let me, I won't go home.”

“What?”

“I'll call my parents and say I'm staying here.”

“Oh, God,” Miki presses his temple, “take it. You can eat it too.”

Kaori smiled, satisfied. “Thank you,” said and grabbed a coffee cup. “Tomorrow, we leave together well.”

“No,” murmured Miki, propping up chin.

“Why?” ask Kaori with her lower lip that has been advanced. “Sensei will pass through the front street of my house to the bus stop.”

“You remember, we are not friends,” murmured Miki. “Again, you must come late every day right?”

“Because of that, I should have a friend to go to school, otherwise I would feel lazy to move. If Sensei comes, I'll do it all quickly, get up-breakfast. Yes?”

Miki sighed. “I'll think.”

“Then, ask for email,” said Kaori picked up her mobile phone.

“You don't have a number? I'm more used to calling.”

“Ah, can?”

Miki nodded.give the phone her touch screen, asking Kaori to enter her number.

Kaori did not stop smiling as she pressed a few numbers. “This.”

Miki took her phone. Type Kaori's name with the alphabet. And then call him. “That's my number,” he said upon hearing Kaori's phone ringtone. “Send me an email too.”

“Iya, thank you,” Kaori said and looked at the number that just came in. “Oneesan,”. He put a cell phone in his pocket. Sipping the glass. “I'm home now.”

Miki looked at Kaori who had stood up, turning to look at the clockwork. “Let me takear.”

“Not necessary, Redy sensei.” Kaori bending. “I'm used to going home tonight.”

“Really? Then I'll get to the front,” he said and get out of his apartment. And arriving at the apartment building, the water droplet touched the ground.

Kaori sighed. “Before spring ends,” murmured, filling up the falling water with his palm.

Miki nodded. “Wait a minute,” he said and ran into his apartment. A minute later, he came back. “Wear this,” he said thrusting umbrella.

Kaori smiled and grabbed him. “Thank you. Tomorrow I return it.”

“Ehm.”

Kaori waved her hand and passed away.

*

At six in the morning, Miki woke up, not because of the alarm, but because of the ringing sound of incoming messages on her phone. He grabbed it and opened his eyes which felt very heavy. He snorted after reading it, throwing just any square thing. And get up from his bed.

Miki-sensei, wake up, I'll wait at my house. I'm not going to school until you come. Kaori's.

Miki did not stop muttering obscure sentences as she walked out. Unlike yesterday, today he does not care much about his appearance in the mirror. Just yesterday, no one protested with his looks. That means he is still fit to attend High School.

Miki stopped stepping as her eyes found a girl standing in front of the gate of a house. “Ah, Kaori,” said and back running.

“Good morning, Miki-sensei,” greet Kaori.

“Morning,” said Miki and kept going, he seemed to need to remind how the girl should call him.

Kaori followed immediately. “What we will ride the bus?” tanyakanya.

Miki glanced at him. “Why? Did you walk to school?”

“No. there is usually a usher,” Kaori said and sped up her pace, matching Miki's long run.

They arrived at the bus stop. Just a short while standing, the bus had already stopped in front of them. Miki and Kaori came in and sat down. Kaori doesn't talk much, seems to understand that Miki doesn't want to be talked to.

Ten minutes later, they arrived at a bus stop near the school. They still have to walk for about five minutes.

“Miki-chan, you haven't been around school, have you? I want to help you,” Kaori said as they entered the school.

Miki soon comes to her senses with a change in Kaori's way of speaking to her. “Not necessary,” he said and looked at the magnificent and very spacious school building before him. He was about to walk again, enter, but his eyes looked at the crowd beside the courtyard. “What's there?”

“Eh,” Kaori following Kaori vision direction. “Entah.”

“I heard there was a shooting drama at our school.”

“Good morning, Kaori, Arai-san,” said.

“Morning, Hide-kun,” Kaori say hello back. Miki just raised her hand.

“Eh, American style, right Miki-chan?” hide said, changing his call to Miki who only smiled briefly. “You guys nobody went to see? I heard the actor and actress are very famous.”

Miki and Kaori sighed and stepped quickly up the stairs. Hide just shook his head, “no one likes yah?” he said and followed his two classmates.

“Ishibashi-kun,” shouted someone and made Hide stop stepping.

Hide turned around and found the man who was walking towards him. “Takahiro-sensei, what's up?” ask the teacher who wears sports clothes.

“You guys have a sports lesson today right?”

Hide nodded.

“After changing uniforms, you guys go directly to the sports hall. There will be shooting for drama there.”

“Eh?” Confused hide.

Takahiro then smiled. “Sensei will help become a gym teacher.”

“Wah, cool Sensei, so Takahiro-sensei will be the actor?”

Takahiro just smiled, wide. He told Hide to get to his class quickly.

*

Class F students, have been in the sports hall. Among them, there are bouncing basketballs, trying to put them in a basketball basket. And most of them just sit and tell stories, waiting for the cue from the teacher.

Kaori wasn't sitting all the way from Miki. In addition, there were Megumi and Yoko who were also sitting next to him.

“What does sensei do? He was very long,” complained Yoko, while looking at the shooting equipment that had filled the corner of the sports building.

“It seems, we will help shooting today. If you look around since first grade, class F is always asked for help, right? Maybe because they think we'll like it,” Megumi said. His eyes could not be separated from Reki who was playing basketball.

“You're right,” Yoko nodded. “Friends do love when there is free time,” he said sighing.

“I'm also happy,” Megumi said, smiling. “Next year, we're third grade. Our time will be used to learn, right.” He was quiet for a moment. “Ehm, Miki-san doesn't talk much?” He looked at Miki sitting next to him. “What's because I don't really understand Japanese? People say it's rude to talk by mixing English and Japanese, but to me it's okay.”

“Eh,” Miki smiled, “I can speak Japanese very fluently.”

“Really? Then why don't you talk? People will think, we bully you.”

Miki laughed, broken. “I'm just happy to pay attention to students like you guys, uh, friends, while talking.”

Megumi and Yoko nodded. The four of them then looked to the source of the sound. “Sensei come.” They stood up and joined the F class group of students.

Takahiro stood in front and beside him a man with a hat and a black T-shirt smiled.

“I Narumi,” says the man in the hat introduces himself, “please his help.”

Megumi whispered in Miki's ear, despite being at the very back, she did not want the man to hear, “that assistant director who also came. At first he'll smile, but if we do something wrong, he'll yell.”

“You just need to exercise as usual,” Narumi raise the volume of his voice, make all the students pay attention to him, “and when Sugo-san passes by, the male student will shout and look towards him.”

“Miki-san knows Sugo Naomi?” ask Megumi. He continued when he saw Miki's arm, “Sugo Naomi is on the rise right now, a member of the group girl and just finished another drama. Miki-san doesn't know at all. This is because it just moved, right.”

Miki laughing. He just never watched a drama.

“Eto, and Sakuragi-kun passed by, it was the girls' turn to shout. Can ya?” ask Narumi.

Students just exclaim. Someone yells, “I'll do it if I can shake hands with Sugo-chan.“  Obviously they are happy.

“If Sakuragi, Miki-san knows?” ask Megumi excitedly. “She often performs abroad. Recently he went to San Francisco.”

“Ah?” Miki doesn't know, last went out of the country a year ago. He shook. “But, it seems like I've heard his name.”

“Miki-san can see it clearly later, he is very handsome. Right, Yoko, Kaori?”

Yoko nodded. Kaori shrugs her shoulders.

Narumi then approached Kyouko who was standing at the front. He showed the writing on the paper. Looks like Kyouko will have a dialogue.

Takahiro yells. He asked everyone to line up neatly. “Let's warm up, one... two.... three..” he counts while continuing to move his hand.

Miki could hear, the sound of action was heard. And just then, there was the sound of screaming, Miki directed his gaze towards the entrance of the building to the west. The six men with basketball jerseys coming in, on the back is a man who looks very glowing. Some of the girls in uniform followed, shouting Ace's name.

Miki frowned at the madness of the girls, before long some girls in cheer uniforms also entered followed by male students. And I don't know what they're yelling at. Miki's head then turned his head when he heard the screaming sounds from the front row.

“It looks like there will be a basketball game from Ace,” pekik Kyouko.

And next, Miki was shocked as her hand was drawn. He ran to the edge of the basketball court. He looked up when he heard Takahiro's scream.

“Megumi, Takahiro-sensei is calling us,” Miki said.

“Sensei is acting, he is never angry,” whispered Megumi relaxed. “You just need to shout the name Ace.”

“Ace?” Miki sneered, it looks like it's the name of the male lead.

Class F students have lined up to fill the sidelines. While the man, has been watching the action cheerleaders.  Someone screams for Sugo-chan's name, incessantly. And then Narumi's voice sounded from the speaker, “cut. You don't call Sugo, his name is Mirai in this drama. We start from the time the class that exercises running, yes?”

Miki grunting. Kaori next to him did not stop muttering, swearing. Yoko walked while twisting her hair. Only Megumi was excited among them, she had already drawn Miki's hand.

After the action was heard, Kyouko shouted back. Miki and the others had to run to the sidelines. They're full-fledged, lined up in the field.

Miki's eyes moved right-to-left. There's Kaori and Megumi. Kaori, who used to be quiet, shouted, though it was unclear what she said. Not long after, while the confusion still dominated his brain, Miki held his breath, seeing a ball pointing in front of his face, but his body could not be moved. And, “ah,” Miki fell down. He could hear Kaori's voice saying blood. “Blood?” Miki raised her hand, touching the liquid coming out of her nostrils. It screamed.

All surrounded. I asked if Miki was okay.

“You okay?”

Miki raised her face. Found the man in a basketball jersey squatting before him and asked. He could hear his classmates shouting indistinctly. They don't care about Miki anymore. “I'm fine,” Miki said and brushed off the man's hand. He swore in another language, making people clueless.

Miki stood. Make the man in front of him fall. Miki walked over while looking up. Not far away, he turned around. He glanced at them.

Kaori's approaching.

“Are you going to let me find my own health room?” miki Grunts.

“Ah, let me drive,” Kaori said quickly.

Miki doesn't care anymore about the screams of the crew or anyone else. He was and is very upset.

*

With everyone, there will be a first meeting. But after that, there was something I knew and also did not expose at all. And the most annoying first encounter was when I couldn't talk and nag about the mistakes of people I just met. Embarrassing. Maybe that kind of meeting I won't forget. Mickey.
