Chapter 45: Kiss

“Good discussion until here first. Tomorrow we will..”

“It seems like it can't be tomorrow.” Ankou cuts off Ana's words and it leaves her confused. His expression was not easy to guess. Ankou kept her head down like she was scared but wanted to talk soon.

“Alpha hastened her marriage to Helene tomorrow at the behest of Zeus. I heard directly from my friend.”

Ankou looked at Ana with an unbearable look. “You okay?”

“Why is it so fast instead of a few more months?”

“I alone heard the news from heaven was very shocked. If the god Zeus has given orders we cannot rebel.”

“Can you take me there. I want to see them get married.” the sentence she heard made Ankou surprised to not think Ana did that. She thinks what Ana did was stupid, just hurting her heart.

Ankou obviously refused. “I will not help you to ascend to heaven. Just seek help from others.”

“I beg...” Ana's voice until it vibrates because while holding back her tears. Can't bear to finally grant Ankou his crazy request. “Alright I'll help you. But remember if you are not able to do not hesitate to tell.”

“I promise. Take me home can you?” ask Ana.

“I'll take you to your house.”

Ankou drives the car while occasionally looking towards Ana. He simply turned his face out the window. Not wanting to disturb Ankou just focusing on driving.

In the car the atmosphere was very quiet unlike them going to the cafe, they were drifting with their respective thoughts.

Arriving at Ana's house, Ankou says she will pick her up tomorrow at seven in the evening. Ana just nodded without saying and Langung went to her room.

He cried in silence so that his mother and father would not worry. Then he unpacked the closet and took all the stuff Alpha had ever given him. Ana puts it in a cardboard box so that her past with Alpha is not stirred in her brain.

Next Day

“Ana..”.

“Quickly take me to the party after that drive me home soon.”

Ankou did not dare to refute and directly activated the portal. A kind of magic entrance for the Gods to go back and forth between heaven and earth. Behind the palace there is a garden that has been decorated with flickering lights and roses favorite of Princess Helene.

A festive atmosphere that is inversely proportional to both brides-to-be. Alpha and Helene did not look at each other but they were like professional artists doing the scene perfectly.

Ana and Ankou who had just come to see their play were devastated. Their arrival coincides with the start of the coronation to make Alpha and Helene a couple.

“Alright we start the cure. The son of the god Hephaestus Alpha will you accept the Daughter of Zeus, Helene as your wife in joy and sorrow until death do you part?”

Alpha answered for a long time until the end... “I am willing to accept Helene, Princess Zeus as my wife.”

“The daughter of Zeus, Helene, will you receive the Son of the God Hefaistos, Alpha as your husband in joy and sorrow until death do you part?”

“I am willing to accept Alpha, Son of Hefaistos as my husband.”

After the coronation they kissed in front of the guests. Ana's tears fell instantly. Ankou then tightly grasps his hand as the form he gives strength.

Alpha begged him to go out for a while. Seen from the look of the face of Helene who was very sad when her husband was still chasing her ex-lover.

“Ana quickly log in to the portal. I feel like Alpha is after us.”

“No need. I just want him to see our current scene. I feel comfortable near you therefore I dare to do this.”

The soft and sweet lips touched Ankou's lips all of a sudden. He was surprised because he was not ready to accept his advances. Slowly the kiss deepened and Ankou felt that there was a tongue that wanted to penetrate her defense. Already knowing what she should do, Ankou held Ana in her warm embrace.

The footsteps that had been very fast stepped then stopped and turned around after seeing two people who combined love each other in the middle of a beautiful night.

Anger, regret, sadness, fear all become one. No one can be saved anymore. Ana and Alpha's love story is over.

Ankou who sensed the absence of Alpha aura there started to slowly release her lips. Ana's tears didn't stop crying from them kissing. Ankou who could not bear then drove Ana to get home. But Ana chose to find a place that she thought could make her calm.

They went to the beach through the portal. The cold coastal wind mixed with the calm water could really make Ana a little calm. He kept staring at the front of the beach. Ankou who was at the side also did the same.

“Thank you for coming with me. Though I am someone else in your life.” said Ana reluctantly.

“I am no one else to you. You think we'll meet for the first time. Actually, there are no counts of how many times. It's just that I erased your memories as well as both of your parents.”

“Really? When do we meet?” ask Ana enthusiastically.

“I forgot that time how old you were. But certainly when you were little I was your tutor even though my boss took over. But after that I became your tutor again.”

Ana smiled slightly hearing that. He did not expect the person who had irritated and frightened him because he continued to watch his house is now a reliable figure.

“I'm sorry for my disrespectful actions earlier.”

Recalling the kiss that the two cheeks of Ankou had just done turned red. “What I've done. I got carried away.” he covered his mouth with his hands.

“You've been in love before?” ask Ana suddenly.

“Never at all. What I always thought about was...Ahh what I always think about is taking care of someone's death.” Ankou almost made Ana cry again for almost saying the name Alpha.

“Why ask that? You want to offer to be my girlfriend.”

“If you are willing I want.” replied Ana firmly without further ado. Ankou looked straight at Ana because she thought what she was thinking about now was a mere form of emotion.

“You're too frontal. I'm not the one who's so fanatical about love. My love for someone is still rational. You're like this because you want to vent it on me, right? I don't want to, I refuse.”

Ana smiled cunningly and approached towards him. “I'll make you know the meaning of love with a woman.” Ana kisses Ankou for the second time.

Ankou tries hard to let go of the kiss but it doesn't work. There was a rejection in his heart. He stared at Ana very sharply in the middle of her fondling.

“You're dangerous Ana.”
