Chapter 24: New Members of the Club (ABC)

Alpha parked his bike and told Ana to go together to the campus park. All eyes looked at them, and Helene was no exception. They whispered why her senior could leave together with Ana.

“Why are they both walking?”

“Ana turns out to know the senior first.”

“I'm confused with senior. What excess? Though Helene is prettier than the girl.”

Helene who heard her name called simply fell silent while staring at her senior. A flat note was fixed on Ana.

“Everything, later we will gather here again for discussion after the delivery of the mentors. We go to the hall now.”

The unpleasant look stopped temporarily. Ana who realized that was only able to bow down.

What's wrong with me? Why are they looking at me like that? inner Ana.

“How are you today?” ask one of the mentors.

“Good senior.”

“I am your senior named Fobis will tell you to memorize the song of our faculty mars. Later I will tell one of you to advance in front.”

All sang without using paper. Ana, who looks unheard of, is pulled by Fobis' hand to advance.

“Singing next song. Everyone let's sing.”

The seniors who saw Ana frowned. “You didn't memorize the faculty mars song? Didn't you learn the lyrics at home?” ask Fobis.

Alpha immediately stood beside Ana with a paper containing the lyrics of the song. Fobis did not rebuke his friend. He's back in his place.

“Do not see them. Just look at the one in front of you.” Ana is relieved that Alpha helped her. The singing event in the hall was finally over.

“You don't see group chat?” ask Alpha.

“Already. Senior told us to memorize the song but I always forget the lyrics.”

Is Ana having a problem? Sending something was not difficult for him. I'll ask you later.

“Sol senior.” Answer the team leader, Dion.

“We will here discuss about small projects on social handling. Themes can be anything, cleanliness, education, technology. It's up to you which one. I as a mentor will just direct.”

“Friends in your opinion what is a good theme we lift?”

Helene held out her hand. “What if you bring up the theme of education? I'll look for the discussion.”

“Wah, besides being beautiful but also smart, yes.” others commend. Even Ana was amazed at him.

“Talk again in group chat, we talk there. Yesterday I told you guys that the pen club is opening a new membership. As club chairman I would like to ask if any of you are interested?”

“I'm interested.” Helene voices.

“If Helene is interested I am also interested.” said Ken.

“You are interested in entering the club because of Helene, not a hobby?” ask Alpha and joke.

“I...se-actually ever published one novel.”.

Ana's stunned. He tried to remember if he had ever read a book with an author named Ken. It turns out to be true, he once read it entitled “Caffeciato”. His college friend is one of his favorite writers.

“I want to enter pen club. I want to be like Ken who has already published his novel.” Ana smiled.

“Who wants to enter the club again besides Helene, Ken and Ana?”

No one held out their hands. “Well you can go home, and for Helene, Ken and Ana come with me.”

Alpha's taking them to the room. There were many seniors who were busy with the novel deadline.

“It's like not a club but rather a publishing office.” Ken was amazed by the spacious and neat room like a real office.

“Welcome new member.” Senior men welcomed them. It's tagged with a name on his shirt, Fobis.
