Chapter 29: The Old
“We're home now. It's starting late at night.”
As they descend the stairs, Alpha is already aware of the presence of the man who keeps an eye on Ana's house. Even to the house the man followed.
“Close the meeting window. You don't have to worry.”
“I'm more scared.” Ana looked around. Alpha immediately closed Ana's eyes and told her to go to sleep immediately.
“Quick login.” Ana rushed into the house.
After Alpha tells Ana to come in, she rides her bike home. Instead of heading to Eros' house, he chose a quiet place because Alpha wanted to have a one-on-one conversation with the man.
“Why do you keep following him?”
“Wah, wow you were great too ya.”
“I asked why you keep following Ana?” Alpha is half screaming.
“Be careful in talking. You don't know who I am.”
“I know who you are. Your name, your life, your power limit I know. I've heard that there must be a sky again. Don't cocky. I warned you not to disturb him.”
“You're his girlfriend?”
“Not, I'm the patron, Ankou.”
The man was shocked that Alpha knew his name.
“I told you I know your name. So don't fuck with me. I don't know what your plan is, I don't want to argue or fight with you.”
Alpha continues on his way and leaves Ankou alone. He was confused as to who he was facing. Actually, Ankou means to keep an eye on Ana's house because she wants to find Alpha. But until this second Ankou can't find him.
Along the way Alpha cries behind a helmet that covers his entire face. Wanting to hug his little friend and admit if the person in front of him is himself, Alpha. Also wanted to take off the magic that made people in his past forget about him.
But his steps are always intercepted, Alpha chooses to forget.
Eros who had been waiting on the guest sofa saw Alpha with puffy eyes.
#Alpha Room
“Ah, my heart is in turmoil.” Alpha takes off his jacket violently, throws it in any place. He ruffled his hair because he did not want to remember the incident.
Was Eros sitting on the guest sofa? He told me to go home late because he wanted to meet his friend. No so?I didn't rebuke him for being carried away by emotions. All wrong.
Alpha fell asleep so that the memories in his brain quickly disappeared. But his sleep was interrupted because the phone that rang came from a group chat. He opened a glance and went back to sleep. Not forgetting he turned off the ringtone.
#Morning of day.
Alpha down to the dining room. He saw Eros cooking. Unlike usual who always Alpha who prepares breakfast.
“Sorry I woke up late.”
“No problem, I can leave a little afternoon to the store. Take this special sandwich I made.”
Alpha takes one. “Well you cook too. Although only sandwiches but including good for beginners.”
“I...”, “I..” They simultaneously want to ask each other's circumstances. Alpha allows Eros to ask first.
“You why last night? If you don't want to tell a story, you can skip my question.”
“I last night met Ankou. So long time no see made me so emotional and now it's my turn to ask. Why did you get home when I arrived? You're not going to Joana.”'s house
“I'm more worried about you. I have a bad feeling. When I saw how you were last night, I undoed my intention to rebuke you. ” Eros drinks his coffee.
“......He's still looking for me till now.”
Alpha continues to shake the tea in the glass without drinking it. He looked up into the sky at the glaring light from the window.
Very beautiful, bringing hope to other living beings.
