LIFE ABOVE THE BOTTOM

EPISODE 4: ONE STEP AHEAD

We had a few days rest before the tournament started. My team immediately continued training to face teams from other schools.

We were getting ready for training at school. We are very excited in this training because we won in the first qualifying round.

We will be more active in basketball practice, we are sure to win again against the team from the new school. Our opponent is the first basketball team to participate in a basketball tournament.

We finished the training phase, we immediately rested and discussed about the match to be held in 3 days at the Doom balikpapan building.

It was the day we were waiting for the second qualifying round. We all immediately prepared to go to the Doom Balikpapan Building to participate in the second qualifying round match against SMKN 3 BALIKPAPAN. Upon our arrival at the Doom Balikpapan building, we are getting ready to enter the field arena because in a few minutes the match will begin.

Before the game starts, we pray that when the team matches we can win again.

We are all ready to compete but I am still suspended not allowed to compete on the grounds of the condition of the body that has not fully recovered from post-surgery.

I just look at the players from the bench. The match begins, entering the first Quartter round , The match went smoothly our team led the score (10-4) until the first quarter ended but entering the second quarter there was an incident that made one of my team fall and suffered a leg injury due to sprain when jumping in the basketball ring, my team was replaced by a reserve player who had just joined our basketball team.

Shortly after the second Quartter finished (25-12), our score was still leading with the result (25-12) until the third quarter began, the score was still the same.

We immediately devised new tactics and strategies in order to add points during the break. Finishing the break we immediately stepped back into the field to finish the last quarter match of the Second qualifying round.

The fourth pluit quarter reads, we immediately play attacking continues until our team adds the score on the scoreboard to be (29-16). Until the fourth Quartter Pluit finished, we won again and qualified for the next round.

Our team is happy with the hard work of training. We can give a satisfactory result until we can move on to the next game. Our team was allowed to walk around the building to buy food and watch the next game, then we took a break before going home.

We are proud to win in the second qualifying round. I also feel happy even though I am still suspended for not playing but I can still see my team with their hard work in training.

We went straight to each other's homes for a break. I also had to go home but on the way home I met my former friend. I immediately approached to invite him to chat, I immediately invited him to the nearest food court in the Doom Building area.

We ordered food and drinks, we resumed the conversation. We asked each other the news. Until I asked my friend ,

he really wanted to enroll in your school, your friend answered yes he said the hell, I also asked him he already had a partner again, my friend replied, "I don't know because I haven't seen him in weeks" my friend said. I immediately asked my friend, "please find out if he has a girlfriend again or not", my friend immediately agreed and will help me.

But my friend told me she liked her boyfriend, I was curious and I asked

" you have already broken up with my schoolmate Dhani", My friend replied

" it has been almost 3 weeks we broke up because Dhani wanted to focus on work outside the city so we finally broke up ".

Long time we chat did not feel the day was already afternoon, we immediately rushed to go home so as not to stay overnight until home.

I immediately walked to the parking lot to pick up my motorbike and immediately rushed home because there was a family event at my grandmother's house.

At home, I immediately took a shower and prepared to go to my grandmother's house with my family.

I took the car out of the garage, got ready for Grandma's house. The trip from my house is about 20 minutes.

On the way I told him about my match today.

My family loves to hear, especially my dad. I was promised to buy a new Nike airborne shoe for 800 thousand by my father. My father plans to buy it at the Plaza Balikpapan mall. After the family event. Then we arrived at Grandma's house.
