EPISODE 23: WORK , WORK , WORK....

Two days later...

I immediately got up and took a shower to prepare to leave for an internship at the Balikpapan city PDAM.

I finished the shower and then changed clothes. I say goodbye to both my parents. I immediately went to the PDAM office of Balikpapan city. It was 6:25 minutes, I walked towards the internship site. Until 7 o'clock my friend came. We chatted while waiting for our mentor to come to the office.

Then came a large man wearing a black jacket, he walked over to the workshop. Until our mentor workshop directly asked "You're new Apprentices ? ", I replied "yes sir, we are new interns from PANGERAN ANTASARI BALIKPAPAN SMK school, sir ".

The mentor immediately rushed to open the workshop door. We were immediately told to go into the workshop and Towards the workshop office space, in the workshop office we were told to be absent first.

After we were absent. We got acquainted with our internship mentors to be closer.

Our mentor asked us "Where have you guys come from? ",A,

We chatted right away. Then there is a person who delivers breakfast into the workshop. We were told to have breakfast by our mentor. We ate right away together.

After finishing eating.

We are told to cut iron pipes with a diameter of 20cm, pipe thickness of 5 cm. We immediately took the hacksaw and then we cut the iron pipe that our mentor told us to.

We cut the iron pipe. Start sawing the iron pipe until a few minutes later the pipe has not been cut into two parts.

I tried even harder to cut the iron pipe into two parts.

30 Minutes passed..

The new pipe was cut in half but suddenly our mentor came saying "mas mas, the way he cut it wrong ",

our mentor laughed, we were immediately taught the right way to cut the pipe.

We cut iron pipes for almost an hour. Finally we were able to cut the iron pipe into two parts. After cutting the iron pipe, we were told to smooth the surface of the iron pipe with a grinding.

We were given a hand Grinder to smooth the pipes we cut.

We directly smoothed the iron pipe we cut, after completion we were told to rest for a while. Seeing us tired of cutting iron pipes, then we were told to cut iron plates with acetelin welding tools.

Everyone wears personal protective gear. Our mentors go straight to how to cut iron plates with cutting welding tools.

First my friend taught me to use cut welding, then I was next taught how to use cut welding.

A few hours after all was done, Adhan Dzuhur reverberated.we were told to rest to eat and pray but because my friend is non-Muslim. My friend was told by my mentor to buy fried food at a stall near the PDAM office in Balikpapan city. My mentor and I prayed Dzuhur together while waiting for lunch to come.

My friend went straight to the stall that sold fried food.

We chatted about and stories about everyday life but then in the middle of our chat, I ate from the head office. We immediately continued the conversation while waiting for my friend to return from buying fried foods.

My friend has come back from buying fried foods, all have gathered in the workshop. We all immediately ate the food provided by the PDAM headquarters of Balikpapan city.

30 Minutes later.

Eating and resting, though,

We immediately continued the work again. I was told to cut a long pipe with a chainsaw while my friend was told to put an iron plate into the iron pipe we cut this morning.

An hour passed.

We finished our first job. We were told to take a break in the Ashar prayer time. Then we rested for the Ashar prayer because my non-Muslim friend was resting inside the workshop office.

Then my mentor and I finished praying. We entered the workshop office. We immediately chatted while waiting for work, we told him about school, my origin life could reach Balikpapan. My mentor also told me about everything.

A moment later after we chatted - ongbrol. It was time for us to go home but before going home we had to clean up all the equipment and work tools will be neat again.

We cleaned everything up after that we cleaned the workshop and we cleaned our bodies.

We were immediately allowed to go home, I immediately rushed to the parking lot to pick up my vehicle. Then I went straight home because it was too late in the afternoon must have been a road to the house jammed badly. I gotta hurry home.
