The sound of steps overlapping each other and also the presence of the three boys walking into his room could Noah be aware. The man who was sitting quietly. Read the monthly report of each village with the help of glasses perched at the base of his nose.
"WHERE'S OUR LEILA?!"
The sound of the door being slammed sounded thunderous. Noah thinks this isn't the start of a good day.
As Noah had expected.
Noah looked at the twins calmly and said, "What do you mean by our Leila?"
The impatient Atlas pointed at Noah and said, "YOU MUST HAVE HIDDEN IT, RIGHT?! AYE, KAN! CONFESS!"
"REALLY!" tymbal Arden supported his brother.
"Say where is Leila?" Now Adrian's voice could Noah hear and see the unpleasant expressions they showed for Noah.
My beautiful morning, the inner Noah who wanted to enjoy his day quietly after the events of last night.
Noah remembers that Leila was still in her childhood and that the twins knew about it.
"You don't know?"
"What?" asked the three of them innocently tilting their heads slightly not understanding what Noah meant.
"Ohh, so so." Noah began to understand the situation now.
"What we don't know, oi!" pekik Atlas was very curious.
Noah looked at the twins one by one. See how much Leila was not human leaving trouble in the morning, "She's gone."
"Huh?"
"He left you. He said he was tired of you and wanted to go back to the forest." Noah refuted his chin enjoying the change in expression of what his three children would show.
"T-cannot be. ." said Arden who sounded very sad to hear the words of Noah.
"Yes, how else. That's what he wants and anyway you guys said he's grown up and adults don't need a babysitter" Noah said lightly toying with the twins.
"You... A liar!" atlas exclaimed, who had held back his tears even he held his snot to fall.
Noah's gaze turned between the adult-assed boy. Just look at them and Adrian can guess Noah trying to find a lie from his face.
Noah just kept quiet and looked back at Noah trying to convince the boy.
He did not lie, Adrian's mind as if struck by lightning. Seeing Adrian stunned makes Arden can guess if Leila left them.
"Adrian. ." great-grandson of Arden who hoped his conjecture was wrong.
Adrian gripped both hands until they turned white. Staring sharply at Noah with the puddles of tears he held back and trying hard in front of that annoying fellow.
Adrian who could not bear to start thinking Leila's incompetence here was the cause of Noah. Because this man forced Leila to do the job of a waiter which he thought Leila did not deserve to do and also the gossip that was flying about Leila Adrian had heard everything.
Starting from how Leila's obscure origins live near the forest that is famous for its awesomeness, it is the illegitimate child of a nobleman, to the cheap women that the Duke always calls at night.
Adrian's red wine mane began to lift and his green emerald netra lit up looking fiercely at Adrian full of hatred. Slowly all the items in this room started to lift and float. Seeing that all made Noah's eyes widen in disbelief.
Adrian who with the content of his mind was eager to hurt Noah began flying around goods towards Noah with a fairly high speed. But Noah's reflexes are faster than the twins thought. A vase of flowers had just flown across Noah's face.
"It is undeniable that one of you can do it" said Noah casually seeing the ability as Adrian just woke up.
Noah took a deep breath and said, "He's taking a leave of absence."
Slowly all the items in this room slowly descended rapidly. Noah quickly shook his hand and the sound of the door slamming from behind the twins made their bodies jerk.
"For a month you must get used to it without it." Circulating his gaze saw the room that originally looked neat was now in a mess.
"L-Leila's gone? Where's where?" asked Arden rubbing his watery eyes.
"No idea, maybe he's talking to a cow right now or maybe he's walking like crazy." Noah closes his eyes and imagines Leila walking while humming and jumping into a little one enjoying the longest holiday he's never had.
Adrian quickly turned his back on Noah and invited his brother to discuss from Noah's gaze, "He's not lying" said Adrian confidently this time.
Atlas and Arden nodded their heads confidently at Adrian's words.
"Well, Leila's gone and Raccoon's still here. That means we can use it" whispered Adrian who stared at his brother's change.
"We can use Raccoon to find Leila. You're so smart, Adrian," praised Arden for starting to understand Adrian's mind.
"Do we need to wear horses? I can get it for us later" said Atlas, who began to support his brother's remarks.
Noah who was silently listening to the twins' plans comforted in silence.
How can I use a raccoon to track Leila?
Do they think the raccoon is just like a dog?
"It's been decided we'llβ"
"We forget this shitty guy," Adrian grumbled, who could be heard very clearly by Noah.
"Since when?" asked Noah who made the twins not want to say anything about their plans just now.
"I've been asking since when can you do something like that?" once again Noah asked, but this was more specific.
"Do what?" ask the curious Atlas.
"Do this." Noah makes the twins slowly lift up and float on the table. Their bodies felt very light and made them unable to withstand awe.
"Adrian," the name's owner looked at Noah, "When?"
"I... Don't know.." This feeling of helplessness made him uncomfortable. See how his biological father looks creepy with his stifling gaze only fixed on him. He's not alone here. Look at Arden and Atlas.
"Adrians."
"A-kuβ" Adrian feels bad things will happen.
"Books."
"What?"
"What book do you want? I'll buy it? Aristotle's Work? Physics law?"
Adrian not listening wrong? The man in front of her had just offered her a book. Will the world be destroyed soon?
Because so far Noah has always kept his distance from them and there will always be a presence of Leila in their midst to melt the atmosphere.
Isn't this gonna work. Usually Leila will say this, Noah's inner increasingly makes Adrian more confused.
"I want to too! Why was Adrian the only one who was given a gift?!" His other twin brother exclaimed that only he was offered and it managed to make his brain pause for a moment thinking about the strange attitude Noah had just shown.
Noah's gaze turned to look at Atlas now. Seeing the potential of these twins could become a knight, "What about a sword?"
"You're crazy! He's a kid!" Reject Adrian who heard Noah's words.
Every day Atlas talked about the powerful sword he always wanted to swing. Plus how Leila always tells a story of a warrior who is always faced with monsters and villains. Atlas was like fire and Leila added wood to him. This made him even more excited.
"And you're a kid who's been ditching and hiding in the library."
Noah's not the one who hands off and doesn't know what the twins are doing. See how this little one made him manage to remember himself as a child at his age.
Noah used to ditch and hide in the library.
"Th-that's... ." Look, now he can't dodge.
"Don't you think I don't know what you've been doing all this time, hahh... ." It gives him a headache. Noah thought raising children wouldn't be this difficult. Though there was Leila and remembered in the past as well. Noah had no experience as a parent in his previous life.
Noah takes his eyes off the twins and thinks about a talent his son might not have. Although they were triplets, at least one of them had a talent in magic or perhaps they inherited his talent in painting. But, hearing from Leila did not seem to be.
"So, who can do anything beyond reason?"
The twins point at each other which makes Noah dizzy. But this is still at the beginning of the day. Why does he have to have a headache?
"He, I can't" elak Arden who found Adrian pointed at him.
"What's? You're good at throwing daggers and you're good at weird plants that make me and Atlas wonder." Arden who gets a gaze from Adrian who often takes into account it makes him feel uncomfortable.
"It's normal to know! Nothing is strange! Atlas is weird too!" exclaimed Arden pointed at Atlas for not wanting to be accused here alone.
"I? I normally know!" Timpal Atlas does not accept Arden's statement.
"There may be a human being with a monster-like power other than yourself, Atlas," Adrian said, pressing his nose on his nose, feeling dizzy to be someone who was among his two brothers who were arguing.
"You're weird too, remember!" Pekik Atlas did not accept.
"I'm the most normal here" Adrian said casually.
"We're all weird, satisfied!" Pekik Arden can't stand all this.
Noah saw the free spectacle this morning feeling a little amused. Well, they were his children and nothing was normal in the slightest.
