CHAPTER 26: UNEXPECTED ENCOUNTERS (1)

Leila pays a visit to Rion's bookstore which makes Leila very happy because today's system is being kind. The stalker was busy too. So, rarely watch him. But, the reason is why in every moment that is very inappropriate, the stalker always suddenly appears.

Bizarrely.

Luck doesn't come twice and this time too Leila finds the system entering autopilot mode that makes her feel like the happiest person in the world. Because he took the twins and Noah out yesterday. Now it's his own time. Not that she doesn't like spending time with them, no. It was just that he wanted to meet Rion today after the sudden incident back then.

"I hope Rion isn't mad at me."

The clang of the bell sounded very clear as Leila walked in. Leila began removing her distinctive red robe and looking for where the shopkeeper was.

"Yes Rion, what?"

Seeing Rion who was very worried about her made Leila's heart warm up a little. After feeling calm Rion began to be awkward for not being a good Host. The training aroma that was oozing out and slowly filling up the entire store made Leila's heart grow calmer.

"Please."

Leila took a seat in front of Rion and chatted casually with the man. The day is getting better with his meeting with Rion, but who would have thought this won't last long.

Regular meetings are held every month where almost every opportunity Noah must participate. Seeing that some people had already left and started talking about their respective families made Noah's little corner of heart grimace.

Of course hearing Noah's words made the corners of Calix's lips involuntarily twitch impervious, "Who misses you too, fool?!" Calix hit the table not to accept with the longer Noah's words getting annoying.

"Shut your mouth, Noah!"

Seeing Calix upset is a separate entertainment for Noah. It was possible that if Calix was not her descendant, the relationship of the two of them would be much closer now. No. Noah, Calix and him are very different. He is him, and Calix is Calix. It has nothing to do with this revenge on his descendants.

There aren't.

"Hey! You hear me not?!" Calix's growl could Noah hear.

Seeing Noah who was initially pensively silent made Calix worry for a moment. Because it's not usually her best friend is silent with such a strange look, "A-ahaha, sorry. What's?"

"I wonder what it's like to be a father?" Calix at the end showed a smile of his acquaintance.

"You think this is a quiz you can skip! Ughhhh! Si! You're making my blood sugar lower, Noah!" Calix's already frustrated squeals have a best friend like Noah. He may be bald before his time.

"Why don't you just try it?" Noah who had arranged his things was about to stand up leaving the meeting room.

"You want me to get married?" Calix gave a look as if Noah was joking right now, "No, thank you. I was too young to get married. After all why he didn't appear again at the festival," Calix muttered involuntarily at the end of his sentence that Noah could hear very clearly.

Noah narrowed his eyes seeing Calix seemed pensive at the thought of the person he had just muttered, "Who?"

"uh? What's?"

"I mean who is he? The one who made you so stubbornly come out only to come to the Lantern Festival."

Of course Calix who silently trailed his stupidity could only sigh beak.

"... People."

"I mean who?"

"Umm, a Miss maybe?" Lirih Calix closed his eyes not wanting to look into Noah's eyes who must have seen him as if in disbelief.

As Calix had imagined, "Did you finally throw away his sight now that the woman was useless?"

"Ughh! Don't look at me Noah. You're noisy. Out there!"

Calix who could not stand Noah's words began to dominate the man to quickly leave his presence.

"Hee...." That annoying smile that even though Calix didn't see it he could imagine, "Finally you're a normal guy."

"What do you mean by that?" Staring at Noah sharply.

"Well, at least you can finally be attracted to someone. Special Miss, hehe."

"Dump that fantasy! I won't like anyone in this world!" It ends with the sound of the door being slammed by Calix and Noah can hear it from inside if the boy yells in frustration and starts calling his servant Abel.

Recalling how they were as a child so close made Noah smile involuntarily. Recalling how the arrogant boy had asked him to kneel made the boy instead kneel obediently to him. That ends how Calix admires her and ends up with a relationship as a friend in his life this time.

"I wish you'd breathe longer, before I stop breathing later."
