LEILA'S DREAM: Three Possibilities

LEILA'S DREAM: Three Possibilities
CHAPTER 19: OUR TWO LITTLE SECRETS (1)

"What else try this?"

Leila had just finished serving dinner to the twins room and was tired after using her magic in the Misty Forest. Right, Ryuu called out to him earlier. Right after Noah's room.

"Duke called you" said Harry, who was not happy to have to say.

"Good."

Leila was too tired after doing her duty as a Guard, although her duty was not as much as it used to be because Ryuu took on some tasks as training.

Now he was in front of the white-painted door. This isn't Noah's office, but that shitty guy's room. Leila stared dislikefully at the white door that caused her back to ache all day. His profession will soon change to a masseuse like him.

Leila knocked on the white door three times and quickly pushed it away because she wanted the day to end soon and she could return to the Misty Forest to finish her job again.

"Duke me—"

Leila could see a golden-yellow aura like an aurora wandering in the air. It swerved like a stream and shone like gold powder flying everywhere.

"YOU!"

Leila could see all these beautiful sights emerging from Noah's hands. With her kimono that she was wearing after bathing and a few strands of wet hair Leila could see among the dim light. Leila didn't know what to respond to, but this was a beautiful view—though it was more beautiful when she was in the Holy Land.

Noah quickly swept his hand and removed all the magic aura he had just unleashed. Someone should have knocked on the door first.

"HOW DARE YOU—"

"Can you do it too?"

"Huh?" Noah stared at Leila's astonishment as if he could do what he had just done.

Leila quickly closed the door and in the blink of an eye she was already in front of Noah. Grasping both of the man's hands with his eyes full of twinkle. Because Leila was shorter than Noah, the woman had to look up.

"Wow! You can also do magic! It's great!" Exclaimed Leila who could not help her admiration.

"What do you mean?"

Noah, who was increasingly clueless, finally Leila used her powers like making protectors around the two of them.

"Th-this...." Noah could not help his surprise. Obviously, the color and coating of this protective magic is very strong. The magic protector that Leila created was blue just like her neutral color, azure blue.

Now he knew who was behind the mansion's shake yesterday. Noah could see that vast magic circle and in the blink of an eye it disappeared like his sudden appearance.

"Duke you're a witch, aren't you?! Don't you?! Don't you?!" Leila exclaimed with excitement. The view was amazing. Although he often sees witches not as beautiful as Noah's.

"Leila, this—"

"Wow! The color of your aura is the same as Ryuu's."

After showing his skills. Leila gets a notification from the annoying system, but Leila chooses to ignore it. After all, he only showed a little skill and a stupid time with penalties that he would get later.

"Who's Ryuu?"

From her name it was clearly the name of a man and it seemed like Leila knew the person who had the agreement with the Great White Dragon just as she had.

"Ah, umm... That, that... A comrade. Yeah a friend, Duke!"

"Friends?" Noah's face drew closer with both hands still held by Leila.

"Y-yes."

"A friend, hm?"

Noah stared fixedly at Leila who managed to make the woman feel uncomfortable. With both of her hands still clasping Noah's hands, Leila couldn't stand it and said, "Ugh! He's my foster son, satisfied!"

"Foster boy?!" Noah widened his mind in disbelief at what he had just heard, "How old are you?" Noah asked, narrowing his eyes, feeling something strange here.

"Huh?" Leila looked at Noah in confusion.

"Are you a witch from a tower or a church? ANSWER ME!"

"That-that's...." Leila who wanted to take off her grip instead now turned around Noah who was clutching his hand so as not to run away.

"My jaw! Are you a spy?!"

"I-it's... Me, I...." Leila really wanted to cry now. Noah looked very scary now with his jet black mane down covering part of the man's gaze with both golden-yellow neutrals staring at him sharply. His eyes were exactly the same as those of the previous Guard. The one who gave Ryuu to him before plunging himself into the lake.

"T-Master, not me, I did what you asked. Me, I did it. I'm becoming the Guard as you want me to be. Me, I—" Leila kept rambling on what Noah didn't know. Leila was like looking at the person who had just woken up from her death. Noah frowned looking at Leila like a madman and said everything.

"Do what you ask. That egg... Already hatched he's still, still rema—"

"LEILA! SOBER UP!" Noah snapped which made Leila manage to stop saying something that Noah increasingly did not understand.

His terrified expression was still visible there. Her reddish eyes indicated the woman wanted to cry.

"Sit down" said Noah leading Leila to sit on the edge of the bed. Leila who was still limp followed and rubbed her hands together with a huff.

"Leila, were you sent by someone to watch me?" Noah asked in a soft voice now.

Leila who looked down did not dare to look at the face of the man whose eyes made her recall the bitter memories after a week in the forest, "No."

"How old are you?"

Leila was completely reluctant to answer him.

"Who's Ryuu? How could he have the same aura as me?"

"... Sorry, I can't answer, Duke."

"Why?" Upon Leila's silence, Noah asked again, "Well, how can you use magic? Shouldn't you sign up for the tower or go to church?"

Leila knew about it. After all, it was him who wrote all that information. But, isn't he still a guard. Even coming out of the Misty Forest alone could be counted dozens of times, "... I'm busy."

"Being a Guard?" Although Noah did not know for sure the intent of the 'Guardian' Leila meant.

"Y-yes."

"Okay, last question. Why did you leave it right in front of the Misty Forest?" Leila's silence caused Noah to grow frustrated, "Please answer me. I need information on that kid named Ryuu."

If only you knew how big Ryuu's body was and you still called him consider a little boy.

"Why?" Asked Leila who was astonished someone asked about a place that was very rarely known by many people.

"Do you know the legend of the Holy Land Guard?" Ask while looking at the expression Leila will give.

"Yes." Yeah."

Seeing Leila's ordinary expression seemed fine telling this information. Although it's just an old story, "He's a dragon and he's a noble being that's still related to Gods. A person who made a pact with the Guardians of the Holy Land would have the same power as him."

"So...?" Of course Leila already knew what Noah meant, but still why would someone seem to know the existence of that place. Leila believes the place has long been forgotten and only made into children's wreaths.

"Well, I think I'm just like that kid named Ryuu."

"No way," with a human body that has two legs and no hair. Where maybe Noah was just like that pigeon-like Ryuu.

"no? Why can't you?" Noah raised both eyebrows.

"The human Duke, while Ryuu is a dragon," gazed from top to bottom Noah's body which was clearly visible to him as a normal human without growing any additional horns or wings.

"Oh, dragon. Wait, WHAT?!" Noah could not hold his perfectly rounded eyes.

"Are you the one who made the previous Guard die?" Leila asked who remembered from the information from the occupants of the Holy Land if a group of humans managed to enter and penetrate the dimension that it created.

"You mean?"

Leila told him everything the first time she saw the state of the previous Guard dying and gave a black egg before she submerged herself into the lake.

"But that's impossible. That was a thousand years ago. But, there might be a small possibility if you were his reincarnation who had memories of thousands of years ago," Leila grumbled at the possibility of fiction coming true here.

"Wait a minute. So age?"

"3000 years maybe? I haven't counted it in a long time."

"K-kau—"

"Want to report me to the tower or to the church?" Glanced at Noah who was still preventing him from leaving this room.

Leila knew what her fate would be if she were in one of those places. If he was in the tower, then he would be forced to drain away his magic core to create a protective wall that enveloped the kingdom territory, and become an observer throughout the kingdom territory.

As for in the church, she would definitely become a saintess and be blindfolded with a black cloth. Being a holy girl who should not go out once. Talking about the voice of the God he heard or something.

Leila had no intention of ending up in those two places. Especially if they know Leila's age now. He just wanted to live quietly and see the storyline go the way he wanted.
