Saving Jane

Before Daniel acts, he wants to confirm Jane's whereabouts first. So Daniel contacted Edric Harisson for information.

"Edric hasn't seen each other in a long time, I'd love to visit you. Where are you now?"

"Come on! Just for a second, I'll come for you.."

"Find another friend to play with."

Daniel climbed up the gate. He knew enough about the ins and outs of Edric's house, because Daniel also built this house.

Daniel is shocked to see a piece of glass on the floor and a small cut on Jane's wrist. Jane bit her lips withholding tears as she was so frustrated she thought about ending her life. It's not like he's always giving up.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell at you, you must have been through a tough thing. I'll find the plaster first to cover your wound."

Jane pulled the end of Daniel's jacket. Hand trembling.

"Don't leave me alone. I'm still scared."

They're quite aware that they can't linger here, but Daniel lets Jane calm herself down for a moment. After Jane's crying subsided, Edric treated Jane's wounds.

"Is my grandmother okay?"

"Let her be safe with my mother.."

Jane's forehead wrinkled.

"How did you persuade Grandma?"

"Easy, my mother was a cop, albeit of low rank, but she was adept at persuading people."

"I didn't think your mother was a cop.."

"May I join you, my friend.."

Suddenly a heavy voice interrupted the conversation between the two of them. Jane and Daniel's body stiffens. Without even looking at it they knew enough who the owner of this voice was.

"Daniel Wynford finally we meet, even in unfortunate circumstances.."

Edric Harisson pointed a gun at Daniel. This time the gun he was holding was completely filled with bullets.
