Do you love me?

Edric decided to stay at Jane's apartment again. Like that time Jane will wait until Edric is completely asleep then he will move places.

As Jane got out of bed, Edric quickly circled her slender hips.

"Edric!"

Jane screeched lightly covering up her shock as Edric suddenly woke up.

"Stay here.."

Edric further tightened his embrace possessively.

"Did I wake you?"

"No, it's just that I had a bad dream.."

Jane wiped away the sweat dripping on her lover's temple.

"It seems like the dream was quite disturbing.."

"Yes. I dreamt you left me.."

A short but quite dream made Edric riled up. In the dream, he saw Jane standing at the riverbank watching herself slowly sink to the bottom of the river. Edric's hand tried to reach up to ask for help, but Jane just looked at him with a cold look. After that Jane left Edric who tried to save himself.

It's so stifling between her being out of breath because water is starting to fill her lungs and Jane just walking away from her life. Edric was grateful it was just a dream even though it felt very real.

Since when did Jane mean so much to him?

Jane kisses gently Edric's lips provide comfort.

"Dream is a flower of sleep, no need to think too much."

Edric returned Jane's kiss. Suck it long enough until Jane's lips swell up a little.

"Please promise me you won't leave me.."

"Why?"

"Maybe I love you.."

Jane's fixated on Edric's confession.

Jane traced the chest of Edric's field with her tapered fingers. Edric's heart rate was faster. He's not lying. Jane smiled in anguish.

Edric, how are you still human. Even though you were once cruel to Vivian and looked down on everything, you were still born as a human.

And I know the most disgusting feeling a human being can have. A terrible thing that could even make a great hero weak. It can be a fatal weakness if it is known by a crafty person...

That is the feeling of love..

Jane cupped Edric's jaw to focus on him.

"You're serious about what you're saying?"

"Yes I love you.."

Either way due to Samantha's medicinal influence, Edric can confess his feelings. But he won't pull his words back.

Edric also does not need an answer from Jane, because any way Jane will be his. Like it or not.

"I do not know what to answer, for me the word love should not be just spoken. I obviously like you too."

Lies for the umpteenth time.

"No problem. I'll make you say the same thing sooner.."

"Do you have a show tomorrow?"

"No.."

It looks like Jane has to postpone her visit to the Mental Hospital to meet Mrs Nolan.

"Good."

"I want to buy you a dress."

"Yes?"

"You forgot, it's gonna be the company's birthday soon."

Jane completely forgot about it, but since yesterday her friends were busy talking about what clothes they would wear, with whom they would come.

"I still have a dress."

"No. I want to buy you a special dress. You know corporate birthdays are important to me, too."

"Alright, if you force."

Very dear Edric can not come along with Jane because of his promise to hide their relationship. But the advantage for Jane herself, because at least she can enjoy the event without the distraction of Edric.

Edric had reserved the boutique so that Jane more freely choose the dress. The owner of the shop welcomed their arrival in a friendly manner. Some dresses have been specially prepared for Jane. For Edric, no clothes look ugly when worn by his lover.

Jane took a deep breath, how many dresses did she try? These dresses did look pretty and glamorous, but once Jane saw the price tag. He almost screamed, the number was too much!

Jane was very careful about treating all the dresses, afraid that she might accidentally break them. Although actually Jane was also helped by the store clerk to change clothes.

Jane remains the same as the other women, of course she likes all the branded dresses here. But he had to choose one. Jane picked up the dress at random.

Edric told the shopkeeper to wrap it up. Unbeknownst to Jane, Edric advised the store owner to make a suit matching the dress that Jane chose.

At least even if they don't come together, Jane and Edric will look good at the company's birthday.

The rest of the day was spent eating at the hotel's restaurant and taking a leisurely stroll along the city park enjoying the sunset's eyes. Jane prayed in her heart that no paparazzi would take pictures of them.

"You want to go with us? Hana's offering a car ride.."

"Give me your apartment address.."

If they knew, Edric had told his personal driver to pick up Jane in a limousine, they would have been immediately shocked. But it would be nice for Jane to go to a party with her division friend. After this Jane will send a message to Edric.

For the first time Jane will attend the Harisson company's anniversary event. The employees were very excited to welcome the event. And of course that comes not only people from Harisson's company.

Jane regrets not checking back on the dress she chose yesterday. Black dress with one arm, has a hemisphere high enough on one side to show her legs. The dress also further strengthens Jane's curves if worn.
