Gil Harisson always doctrines Edric to obey his orders so as not to end tragically like Garrix.

At first Edric did not trust his father. He was very close to his brother more than anyone. But gradually Edric was influenced by Gil. Plus the pressure he's got.

Edric blamed Garrix. If his brother didn't die, maybe he wouldn't have to go through any of this. The youth he was supposed to go through with friends carved memories in college, lost in place by learning to manage a company that was so dizzying.

Edric is more and more similar to Gil Harisson. Perfectionist, domineering, arrogant.

A week before the wedding, Edric finished his office work first so he could rest in peace. As Edric was focusing on the computer screen, Samantha entered the room.

"Sir Edric I want to talk to you about something.."

Without looking a bit Edric remained focused on working.

"I don't have time to play around."

Then Edric looked at Samantha.

"You know in a week I'm getting married."

"Then what do you want from me?"

Edric stared right into Samantha's eyes. Being looked at so sharply by the boss as well as a person who liked to make Samantha swallow. He was quite aware that he had gone far and was brave enough.

Who wouldn't love Edric Harisson? An established man at once handsome. Many female employees who harbored feelings for the President Director of this company including Samantha who had worked alongside him for many years.

What Samantha wants, Edric considers her feelings because he knows Edric is just being betrothed. Even though it is very small chances Edric likes it back.

"none. You know enough."

"If there's nothing more important, get out."

"good. Excuse me."

Samantha rushed out of the room. Edric stared at the door that had closed.

Samantha is Edric's trust secretary, she has worked long enough in his company. Women who are straightforward, deft, easy to get along with and good at talking. Edric never paid attention to Samantha, most importantly she worked well. Who would have thought that woman put feelings for Edric. I don't want her to think about Samantha.

But Edric is getting married. After all, he had no feelings for his secretary. It's not a big deal to reject Samantha. If the performance decreases just fire it!

A few days after getting married and living with Vivian Kaelee...

For Edric it is not bad to marry her either. Instead he was astonished Vivian was so innocent and naive. Is she not a woman living in the middle of the city? Does Vivian never hang out and just stay indoors?

The cooperation contract has been agreed. Tomorrow we can start construction. Edric is happy his project is growing. But the fun soon disappeared. One of the interns made a fatal mistake to cause a 30% loss to the company.

Edric had to hold an impromptu meeting to evaluate the problem. His promise with Vivian must be canceled. He sent a short message to his wife that Edric could not come.

Edric kicked the table. He is angry. All employees in the meeting room were affected. They just silently silently listened to every slur that came out of Edric's mouth.

"Basic stupid! Where are your brains?! How can you not watch the apprentice closely!"

"I must bear the shame in the face of the management of the Mall!!"

"Cube time in three days to evaluate all this! If you fail, I will fire you for your careless actions!"

Edric left the room with wide steps. He slammed the door. The whole employee breathed a long breath. They are threatened with loss of livelihood.

After clearing the paperwork Samantha caught up with Edric. He tried to calm his boss.

"Shall I get you a drink?"

"As far as you go!"

Samantha made me a cup of coffee. Edric admitted that the coffee made by his secretary was very in accordance with his taste. Not too sweet and not too bitter. The guts are also fitting.

Edric glanced at his watch. It doesn't feel like it's late at night. He had promised to buy Vivian a cake for cancelling a date.

"I want to go home."

"Don't want to stop by the bar first to unwind?"

"No. My wife's waiting."

"Mmm okay. Good night.."

That's how Samantha, even though she was rejected, she still pursued Edric. Even Samantha was getting bold to show her interest.
