Chapter 66: A Short Vacation

Velia and Kinara excitedly walked towards the car. They felt like they were reminiscing about the good times of their friendship.

''Ve, I am very lucky to be good friends with you!," Kinara said as she walked around holding her best friend's shoulder.

''Why do you say that?? are you the only one who feels that way??, I am also very happy to meet a sincere friend like you. Before people approached me just to take advantage of me from schoolwork to being an ATM walking for them!," Velia said at length with a look that began to get upset.

"Why?," asked Alden with a puzzled face.

"I'm your boss!, I can drive a car!," said David as he stroked the steering wheel but his sharp gaze drew toward Alden.

Alden gulped roughly then smiled stiffly. He quickly opens the door and exits the car to switch places with David.

Velia who was sitting in the back seat with Kinara could only shake her head at their behavior.

"You have too many extra moves!, I only have today for the holidays so don't waste my precious time!" Velia said.

"How much is your time I'll buy it!" replied David.

Velia clucked irritably at David's words. He then looked out the window at the view of the city where he grew up.

On the other hand, a man was sitting while sucking on an expensive cigar.

"We got information they were going to a shopping mall!,"

The man placed his cigar in a golden ashtray and folded his hands together on his chest. "Maybe he relaxes when his family's life and death are on the edge!" he said with a slanted smile.

"Did you guys find out where that jerk is??,"

"Sorry Mr. Tristan, we have not found any trace of him!. He seemed lost to the earth!," replied his subordinate.

"Cckkk!, you are not to do anything!!. Sometimes I think the way that woman works is more deft. Sat set sat set instantly finished, unlike you guys!," grumbled Tristan.

The sound of the door opening, the figure of a beautiful woman entered Tristan's room.

"You're out!," Tristan ordered to get all his men out of the room.
