Chapter 11: New Members

After locking the door, Velia put her body on the bed. His brain seems to stop functioning after knowing the truth of his new family.

"I survived death but I went into the valley of death!" muttered Velia while holding a mobile phone.

While engrossed her daydreaming suddenly Velia's phone rang. He jumped in shock and then reflexively threw his phone.

Bugh!

"My phone!!" cried Velia and took back her phone that had fallen on the floor.

"Hallo!," said Velia as soon as she answered a video call from Kinara.

Kinara seemed to be thinking and asked. "You who?!,"

Velia surprised. "You don't recognize me anymore? indeed you are a fake friend!," said Velia with a sullen face.

Kinara laughed out loud.

"Hahaha I was just kidding! after all, the new appearance had made me not recognize you! said it.

"What about my hair now??" asked Velia while wagging her short hair.

"That makes you look like a girl again even though you're actually a widow! but you look so thin now that it reduces 50% of your beauty!" Kinara said.

In between their conversations a woman opened the door and shouted. "Ve Daddy's here, he's looking for you!!,"

"All right, sister, I'm going out!," replied Velia who was still in the video call.

"Ve! did you get Sugar Daddy??!! amazing!!," exclaimed Kinara.

"Sugar Daddy your head!!," muttered Velia.

"It's a long time ago well, I'll tell you everything if I go back there!," continued Velia.

"All right!! you owe me a lot of explanation!" Kinara replied and closed their video call.

Velia put her phone on the bedside nightstand and then she went out to see her Daddy there was something she had to say to Daddy.

It was seen that all the Jordan Smiths had gathered in the living room. There were snacks and drinks available at the table but Velia did not see a single waiter who used to wara-wiri in the house.

Velia sits between David and Luna.

Looks like Jordan already knew that Velia knew the truth.

Velia let out a long breath.

"Is Daddy going to kick me out??" asked Velia hesitantly.

"If I wanted to, I've been doing that for a long time!" replied Jordan.

"I want to ask you something?" he continued.

"What's Dad?!!," replied Velia.

"What is your decision after knowing the truth!," asked Jordan firmly.

David and Luna tensely waited for Velia's reply.

"I.. I'm gonna stay with you guys?? I feel so happy that Dad has a new brother, all this time I was alone and had only one friend!," explained Velia.

Velia's words made Elleana moved, she then hugged Velia while rubbing her shoulders.

Luna also hugged the two of them while David just stayed in his seat not budging in the least.

In David's heart he is also happy that Velia is with them covering up the dark wounds of the past for their Mommy.

On the other hand David is also worried about the danger that threatens Velia because it is certain that his enemies know the existence of Velia when the incident happened the other day.

Velia took off Elleana and Luna's arms.

He sat down in front of Jordan and said.

"Dad let me join forces with Luna!" said Velia who provoked Elleana's emotions.

"No!! I will never agree with your curiosity on that one!!," refused firmly Elleana.

Velia sniffled in Jordan's lap. "I beg Dad! Mama! my resolve is unanimous, if you don't allow me then I will join the enemy clan of Daddy,"

Jordan and Elleana are speechless.

They looked at each other, worried to decide.

David who could not see the women he loved crying immediately invited Velia to go to the back garden.

Jordan and Elleana are relieved at least David can buy time.

A beautiful garden with a gazebo near the fish pond can make the mind feel calm.

David and Velia were sitting in the gazebo looking at the fish that swam to and fro in the sizable pond.

''Ve don't be sad anymore!" persuaded David.

Velia suddenly leaned against David's shoulder while closing her eyes.

For a moment David lost focus with Velia's sudden attitude.

''Are you teasing me??, '' David sneered

''If flirting is even more extreme than this!!, you are like a weathered bachelor who has never dated!, said Velia, not accepting David's words

''I wish it was more extreme!!, '' said David who got a pinch in his burly stomach.

''Aaww hurts Ve, your hands are like tigers!!, '' ledek David.

''Try David to be quiet this time!! so a good listener!, '' Velia grumbled.

David laughed and said. ''Good young widow!'' said David.

Velia rolled her eyeballs. ''You are such a bitch!!!, '' said Velia.

The atmosphere was quiet for a while.

David finally asked.

''Ve are you confident in your decision to join our clan!!,''

''Of course!, if not for what I cried like this!, said Velia.

''But Ve was right in telling Daddy that this is very dangerous for your safety!!, ' said David.

Velia kept her head on David's shoulders and can now make him feel comfortable.

Without the two of them realizing not far from them there are several pairs of ears that try to steal their chatter.

''Brother I have lost my husband, and most painfully I lost this little angel who lived in the womb!!, said Velia as she rubbed her stomach.

''Alright I will give you some time if you can pass all the tests given you can join us!! but if you give up and fail!! you have to go home to your home country!!, said David.

''Okay I agree!!.'' said Velia and stood before David.

''Thank you so much!!!' said Velia then kissed David's cheek and he left the place.

David rubbed his cheeks while grumbling. ''Basic flirty widow!!.''

A faint smile rose from the corner of David's lips.

He was very happy with the presence of Velia in his family.

David who used to rarely come home now spends more time at home with his family.

Will David change his choice to take over his Daddy mafia clan, which has been waiting for David.
