Chapter 21: The Escape of the Prey

After passing the toughest exams of her life, Velia finally set foot in her home country.

The woman appeared to be stepping heavily, with nothing to carry except a sling bag containing a mobile phone and a wallet.

"Miss we've prepared the car for you!" said a man who saw Velia just getting off the plane.

"Miss?? I'm not a girl anymore!!," Velia chirped making the man scratch his non-itchy nape.

Velia saw the confusion on the face of the man who was Daddy Jordan's man.

"Call me Boss Beautiful!!" said Velia.

The men were flabbergasted by Velia's words, they could only nod their heads.

A car headed towards them, and Velia got into the car.

Before speeding away one of the men in black gave a bag containing several weapons. "It's from Mr. Jordan to the Beautiful Boss!!" he said.

Velia received the bag and said. "You wait until I get back!! you guys can have fun here! but remember if I need help you guys should come!!,"

"Good Boss!" said the man.

The car carrying Velia drove off the airport. The four-wheeled vehicle was headed for Mr Gio Selkova's residence.

In the car are two men who will be the driver and personal bodyguard of Velia while in Country A, all this on the orders of Mr. Jordan and Mrs Elleana.

The towering gate was opened by the guards as soon as the host returned.

Gio and Shela were already waiting for his daughter's arrival at the door. Although her parents' house is not as grand as her Daddy mansion but Velia also misses the atmosphere of the house where she grew up.

"I Miss You!!," Velia immediately hugged her parents after getting out of the car.

They go into the house and sit back in the family room while enjoying their favorite fruit juice.

"Are you okay?!" asked Papa Gio worried considering that Velia had lost her child.

"Mama and Papa don't worry! now I feel very well! all of this is thanks to the Smith family who always supported me!!," explained Velia without removing the smile on her face.

"Thank God you met a good family!! they came straight here to tell you how you are!!" said Shela.

"Father! Mama! I won't be here long, once my business is done I'll go back to Country B and maybe settle there for some time," said Velia who felt doubt both her parents are very possessive will approve her.

"We are indeed your parents Ve! and forever will be like that! but we also know, we have no right to hold you back from doing anything! you're not a kid anymore Ve" said Gio.

''We will always support all your decisions!!, Mama Shela continued.

''Thank you Mah!, Pah!," Velia kissed the cheeks of her parents.
