Chapter 14: The Bloodless Sick

A man in a white shirt suit stepped into a restaurant that looked deserted to visitors.

The man chose to sit at the table by the window so that he could gaze out enjoying the bustle of the city at night.

The man saw a woman who as he knew her walking towards him while hugging the waist of a man he did not know.

"Is that Velia?? who is the man with her??," the inner man.

With a smile Velia greeted the man.

"Hey Revan!!." Velia waved her hand then sat down before the man and David beside her.

Revan froze in place.

His heart felt like screaming to see the woman he loved so much was now in front of him.

Revan has long been tormented by missing Velia.

"Your new look is very different Ve, you look more beautiful!," praised Revan who kept staring at Velia.

David who felt himself bothering them moved on the other table.

"I'll join my friend at the table over there!?," David pointed to Luna's desk which was with Alde and Carlos.

"Please enjoy the time you two have!!," continued David and left Velia and Revan together.

"Don't waste your time saying what you want to say so that our meeting ends soon!!" said Velia.

"I want to ask you something Ve, so please answer honestly!," said Revan

"Say!!," said Velia.

"Are you pregnant with Ve when we split up?" Revan hesitantly asked Velia this, worried that Velia would be sad.

"Yes!! I didn't know that after I had a little accident I just found out that there was our son in my womb, but it's a pity he doesn't seem to want to share his father with another mother so he chooses to go far away from us!,"

Revan's eyes glazed over knowing this, at least he had heard it directly from Velia.

"Do you forgive me Velia??!!,"

"Even if you've apologized all your life my answer will still be the same: forgive you but not to come back to you Revano!" Velia said.

Revan's heart suddenly ached hearing Velia's words. There is no hope of being together like before, and Revan sees Velia coming with another man.

"Already Revan I know you mean to meet me, now you have a family that is your priority even more so there is still a child who needs the figure of his father!," said Velia.

"Stop being tied to the past, being a good father to your little daughter Revan is already a responsibility you will carry for life!! let go of me Re!! let go of our past!! after all we won't be together again!!" continued Velia.

"Listen to me Ve for this time!!," please Revan. Velia replied by nodding her head.

"One thing you have to trust me, Velia, I never intend to betray you anything else until I play crazy behind you!! I really love you, I don't know how that woman got pregnant with my son,"

"The first time he came to me, I didn't believe he had my seed, I decided to take a test but the truth is he's my son!" Revan started sobbing.

"I almost killed myself out of frustration, I don't know how to deal with you Ve! until it was finally revealed!! until now I can't remember anything about meeting me and Tania!,"

Revan looked at his ex-wife's face deeply but Velia did not show any expression. That made Revan give up on Velia, he would enjoy his current life.

Velia got up from her seat and said. "If there's nothing else to talk about I'm sorry!," he said and headed towards David.

David stood up and spread out his arms to welcome Velia. The frail woman immediately collapsed into David's arms.

Revan who could not bear to see the scene then left the place with a thousand steps.

Her heart now knows that Velia no longer loves her.

Seeing her fragile sister Luna hurrying along hugged Velia to give her some encouragement and support.

After feeling better, Velia sat down and joined them.

Five of them ate the food they had ordered. Again they were amazed by the portion of eating Velia that is unusual for a woman according to them.

"Pretending to be happy takes a lot of effort!!," Velia said as she looked at their expressions.

"It seems to be the standard of your dream man who can feed you a lot??," said Carlos.

"It's not just that, but the man who is good at cooking also seems more tempting anyway!!," replied Velia.

"Are you guys good cooks?!!," asked Velia who did not stop putting food in her mouth

"Can't!!," the three of them answered compactly.

"It's a shame you guys aren't my type!!," continued Velia.

Dinner this time was very different. For Velia a moment like this is her dream to laugh with people who care about her.

"Can we stay together like this?? I like it so much!!," said Velia making everyone speechless.

"Of course!!," answered David who understood Velia's desire.

"Didn't you have any friends at home before??" asked Carlos who was astonished.

"I'm an only child!! both of them were very protective of me. As long as I'm in school until now I only have one friend, I can't go out. So when my parents went out of town, it was just me and the housekeeper at home!" said Velia.

Carlos nodded his head in a sign of understanding with Velia's explanation.

"Does he want to take you back Ve?" asked the impatient David who wanted to know everything.

"Yes but I refused!! I don't want him to ignore his son for me anymore!" replied Velia to David's relief.

"He's already got a child from another woman??" Alden did not expect the complexity of Velia's relationship.

"Yes already, a beautiful princess looks a lot like her father!!," Velia smiled in response to Alden's question as if this no longer hurt her heart.

"Who's the woman's name??" asked David

"Tania!!, as far as I'm concerned she is from this country as well if not mistaken," Velia replied.

"Tania??? like I've heard that name??" Alden looked at David as he lowered his eyebrows.

"Why?? is Tania also David's ex-sister??," Velia tried to hold back her laughter.

"Why are you??!!! tania is not the only one in the world!!" said David did not accept.

"Pppufftthh!!!," they all held back laughter.

"Very clear!!," muttered Luna.

"Where's Jeremy?? isn't he going to catch up with us??" asked Velia while looking to the right and to the left.

"She was already on the road earlier, but suddenly there was something important about her investigation so she returned to the headquarters!," Luna replied.

"Do I have to learn that too?!," said Velia.

"That should be done with your current status, tomorrow you come with us to the headquarters!!," replied Luna.

"Every sister!!," replied Velia.
