Chapter 109: Dawn

Subaru felt as if the world was moving up and down, the black-haired boy was a little dizzy, but other than that everything was fine, he also felt as if two soft objects were hitting his back, and he could smell the scent of Jasmine and Vanilla, within moments of realizing the situation.

'Did I die?' 

Subaru thought as he was afraid to open his eyes and woke up in the living room of the Crusch's Mansion, anxiety killed him, but then he heard something, a kind of Roar caught his attention.

The pigtails ending with the ends of the hair appeared, glittering under the sunlight flowing on the horizon. At the time that Subaru recognized her hairstyle, her pigtails were too small for Betty, so there was only one person, an Ojou-sama.

"Ravel...?" Subaru asked without confidence, fear still etched into the deepest part of him, as he said those words as if lightning had struck him. Subaru trembled before feeling the vanilla-scented arms hugging him tightly from behind, it took Subaru a few seconds to recognize the two scents. 

Jasmine is Ravel and Vanilla is Rem.

“Subaru!” The Phoenix girl shouted as she turned around with tears in her eyes, her hands quickly circling Subaru from the front, causing two other soft objects to crash into her body. He is currently a sandwich between Rem and Ravel.

"I'm so scared! I don't want to lose you...! Once again..." As Ravel yelled at Subaru, the black-haired youth felt his servant clothes wet from Ravel's tears.

"Subaru... Rem knows you're gonna be okay, after all you're a Rem Hero." This time it was Rem who spoke from behind, his hands tightly hugging Subaru's body as if he didn't want to let go anymore , Subaru's lost mind filled Rem with the deepest terror.

Although Rem had said those words, Subaru could tell the insecurities he was saying, which made Subaru feel guilty. The black-haired young man was overconfident in thinking that he could finish off the Pope without repercussions, how foolish he was.

As the two girls hugged him, Patrasche heaved a sigh of relief, knowing that his partner was fine, he no longer needed to worry about anything, Subaru felt a warm embrace from the girls, knowing that his partner was fine, and with that he was relieved to know that he was not dead. The two girls continued to cry, while hugging Subaru, she continued to talk as she realized that she got their attention

"...Actually was... I don't want to lose you guys. In my mind is the idea that if I die, as long as you guys are safe, it doesn't matter... But now I realize my stupid mistake. Brake, Ravel. Thank you." Thank you." Subaru thanked Rem and Ravel. The black-haired boy patted Ravel on the head, while pulling her body back to lean against Rem's chest before touching the blue-haired maid's cheeks.

"Subaru." Rem said with mixed emotions as he placed his chin on Subaru's head, the blue-haired maid was absolutely certain of something, she just stared at the black-haired youth.

"You really..."

"... An idiot"

As the two girls say those words, Subaru's mind begins to remember everything he's experienced in this world, the encounter with Felt, the battle against Elsa, waking up in the mansion, meeting Betty, and the, Brake and Ram, etc. All those memories seemed secondary to realizing. For the first time in a long time, he recalled the despair in Beatrice's eyes, as he made the black-haired boy promise to return, and eventually die. Leaving that world, there was nothing more painful for Subaru than that.

"You're right, girls. I'm a real idiot..." Subaru said as he closed his eyes feeling the air coming down on his face, the sound of the wind hitting the leaves of the trees, and the chirping of birds, making Subaru relax

"...But thanks for that, now I can say that I love you guys."

"I also want a little love. Subaru." An unknown voice came from Subaru's right side, causing the black-haired youth to panic, Subaru immediately turned his head towards the origin of the voice, only to see light yellow hair with cat ears.

Seeing how Felix said that, Subaru coughed up blood before he could speak again.

"Yes God. Ferris you really scared me" Subaru said getting a small laugh from the cat-eared boy, after which, he turned right only to see Ricardo and Wilhelm looking at him with a smile.

"It looks like the woman should become more active, you also don't want to lose, right, Mimi?" Ricardo said as he gave Subaru a thumbs up, Ricardo had never felt so proud to have a friend who fulfilled every man's dream. Seeing such great love, Ricardo smiled before stroking Mimi's head.

"Yes! Mimi won't lose either!" Shouted the orange haired girl, while glaring at Subaru like a predator.

"Wait on! Do you listen all the time?!" Subaru shouted realizing what was happening, they were on their way to the Mathers territory.

'That means Julius will appear at any time' thought Subaru trying to think of something else while enduring the embarrassment they heard, the truth that turned his mind off had little effect on his blushing face.

"*Sah*What is my life?"
