Chapter_25. Pick up Evelyn

While Evelyn was beset by worries, Sean who was trying to find information about Evelyn got a dead end. From the information he got from his men, Evelyn had only arrived in Indonesia after living for many years abroad that they did not even manage to trace its origin.

Personal information regarding Evelyn like her was intentionally omitted. The information Sean got was only about Evelyn's achievements and work abilities. Not even the name of the woman's parents was known. Even more surprising, his flight travel history could not be found. It seemed, behind Evelyn was a strong person supporting her.

The people who were stalking Evelyn always lost track of her. Evelyn's car always manages to escape reconnaissance. Evelyn's men seem to be very good at this.

Sean throws his files in frustration after his men exit the room. For a week, there was no more detailed information that he had.

“Come.” Sean said through the intercom. It wasn't long before Soni came into the room. Bending his body before standing in front of Sean waiting for orders.

“Follow me to Marcus Corp.” Sean's orders.

“But we don't have a schedule to there.” Soni objected. In the office there is a lot of work. If they went to Marcus Corp without any purpose wouldn't it just be a waste of time?

“Indeed I need a reason to go somewhere?” sean said irrefutable. Soni can only obey.

Soni was currently in a chaotic mood. As of now it can still not understand why Sean agreed to the contract that Marcus Corp filed without rejecting in the slightest. And now his boss even wants to act that is not in accordance with the procedure.

“Master, I will arrange a schedule to meet with Marcus Corp for the stabilization of the cooperation project that should be scheduled for the next three days.” Sony said in the end.

“If it can be done now why buy time? Do it immediately! Invite the company leader to have lunch with me later. But remember to emphasize the company leader. That means Miss Evelyn. Not the other one. Tell them if I don't accept a replacement.”

“Good.” Soni immediately bowed her body. Go leave Sean's room to do his job.

An invitation from Sean was forced to be approved by Evelyn. Especially this time the project stabilization meeting will begin next month. This meeting is very important.

Sean walked leisurely in Marcus Corp's office building. All the employees who saw him couldn't help but turn their eyes on him. Even the receptionist who was supposed to stop Sean from entering unannounced ignored his duties and let Sean and Soni enter smoothly.

When Sean and Soni were about to enter the elevator, the company's special elevator opened. From inside comes Evelyn, Carlos and Rose. The three men always went together.

Evelyn is shocked to see Sean in her office. But in an instant the woman tried to normalize herself.

“Good afternoon miss Evelyn.” Sean launched his action. He approached the now handsome Evelyn worriedly.

“Good afternoon Mr. Sean. What the hell are you coming here for? Isn't our meeting at the restaurant?” evelyn asked in a bold manner.

“We happen to be passing. So stop by to pick you up.” Soni who heard the reason Sean sneered inwardly. Coincidentally passing from where if the location of their offices opposite direction. Soni doesn't even know her boss with this character.

Evelyn's brows furrowed. Although he only once went to the Kingston Company, but he still remembered that their offices were very far apart. “Thank you Mr. Sean. Sorry to trouble you.” Evelyn finally said. He did not want to argue with the perverted man in front of many people.

Sean smiled with satisfaction. He knew very well that Evelyn would not fight him in public. “No problem miss Evelyn. For women as attractive as you anything will not be a problem.”

“Good. Since mister Sean has already arrived here what if you leave now?” Evelyn still maintained her lip smile.

“Of course. Please.” Sean waved his hand. Cue Evelyn to walk first.

Elsewhere, Bryan and Berlian who had started school were also taking a break. They both sit in the park. Bryan played the yo-yo in his hand. The toy moved up and down agilely under the control of the handsome little boy.

“Bry mommy move.” Diamond said as Evelyn's position began to move out of the office. Bryan who heard Diamond's speech immediately stopped his play. He approached his sister and sat down next to her.

“Mommy where to go?”

“Entahlah. I also just opened a phone.”

Bryan nodded his head. Both of them looked back at the phone screen. They sharpen their hearing. Trying to eavesdrop on their mommy talk in the distance. Evelyn's voice was also heard along with the other two voices. The voice belongs to Carlos and Rose. Their conversation is about work. And if heard from their conversation, Carlos and Rose were Evelyn's subordinates in the office.

Arriving at the car restaurant that brought Evelyn to a stop. Followed by Sean and Soni's car which also stopped. Diamond immediately opened the laptop he used to find out Evelyn's location. And after getting the location of Evelyn's whereabouts, he hacked the restaurant's CCTV.

“Brily it looks like these two guys are following mommy.” Bryan pointed at the picture of Sean and Soni on the screen.

“They must be mommy clients. Look at one of them carrying a file in his hand.” Diamond Saying.

“You're right. Eh but the man who walks with this mommy looks handsome.” Praise Bryan for watching Sean.

“Hm. Didn't you praise him because he looks like you? Waitaminute! This guy looks like you. Let's not let him be our Daddy!” the diamond realized something.

“Ah true. After being noticed he was indeed similar to me. But I'm still more handsome than him. And look at those sharp eyebrows. Eyebrows are the same as yours.” Bryan reveals after watching Sean and Diamond take turns.

“No. I look more like mommy. Look at me as pretty as mommy. This perfect eyebrow I also got from mommy.” Deny Diamond.

“Ah. It doesn't matter.” Bryan rolled his eyes lazily. “Looks like he's our Daddy. Just look at mommy getting upset like that. She looks great. Although mommy is upset like that mommy still continues with her and can still smile even though it is scary.” Bryan stroked his chin.

“You're right. We better find out about this guy. If this guy's great, we'll make him with mommy. But if he's not as great as he seems, don't ever consider him our Daddy even if it's true.”

“Hump!” Bryan agreed.

On the screen that the two young children were watching, the man they had been judging suddenly felt a chill on his back.
