Chapter_23. Meet Sean

Evelyn had already arrived at the office where they would meet with their potential partners. Rose and Carlos were with him. As a secretary and also a personal assistant, they would automatically follow wherever Evelyn went.

The three people sat quietly in the meeting room after they were ushered into the room. The three sat down while talking about work before the person they wanted to meet came.

Just ten minutes waiting, the door of the room immediately opened. Two handsome men entered the room. The two walked in casually. But one of them smiled meaningfully when he saw Evelyn who was now becoming tense.

Sean, sat across from Evelyn with an expanding smile on his lips. The smile that made Soni shudder in horror because it had long not seen the expensive smile of his boss.

Opposite her, Evelyn sat down unsettled. He clearly recognized who was sitting opposite him at this moment.

Carlos immediately opened the conversation when he saw Evelyn's face that suddenly changed drastically. He took over Evelyn's job to explain the contents of the contract they had submitted.

The atmosphere of the room became serious as Carlos began his explanation. All dissolved in the atmosphere. But two of them don't seem to be there right now.

Both Evelyn and Sean are in their own worlds. Evelyn who was busy looking for a gap to run or at least dodged. And Sean who finally can smile with pleasure after finding Evelyn after a long search has not yielded results.

“Is your side crazy? Seventy percent is too much.” Soni was furious with the contents of the contract they submitted. If such a way of division, their side will only work without receiving a wage. This doesn't make any sense.

“Our side has taken everything into account. And this is the right price. In this project, our team will work more. So it's appropriate we get a bigger profit.” Carlos has been in the business for a long time. He was skilled and trained for the problem as it is now.

“But this is outrageous. Do you intend to demean us?!” Soni is getting angry.

Carlos apparently did not heed Soni's protest. After all here the boss is Sean, and the man has yet to give his opinion. “How do you think Mr Sean?” Carlos asked Sean who had not turned his eyes to the increasingly pale-faced Evelyn.

“No problem. Just do as you would in the contract.” Sean replied lightly without taking his eyes off.

“Mr Sean aren't you in a hurry? It's a twenty percent body. Are you sure?”

“Then what? Not just seventy percent. That won't be a problem.” Sean was still enjoying the view in front of him.

“Mr Sean, if the division like this we will not get any profit.” Sean did not respond. He just smiled without caring.

“Cih!” Soni is saddened to see Sean focus on Evelyn. He admitted that the woman Sean was looking at was a very beautiful woman, but this should not be enough to drive Sean crazy. He has to do something. This whole thing is wrong.

“Nona Evelyn, what do you think?” Soni now focused her eyes on Evelyn who had been silent as a spectator. Even here it looks like Evelyn is the secretary and not the boss.

“I want as in the contract I submitted.” Evelyn replied after she ventured to raise her face. His voice was trembling slightly from nervousness.

“Nona Evelyn, this all makes no sense. Do you intend to rob us?” hearing Soni's accusations, Sean was immediately emotional.

“Shut! Do as they please. Immediately set to sign the contract.” Sean turned his gaze to Soni and said coldly to her secretary.

Hearing Sean's approval, both Carlos and Rose were a little in disbelief. The man did not even argue in the slightest. Is this still a Sean Kingston who is notoriously cold and ruthless as rumors circulate?

Whatever the reason is, it won't be a problem. The most important thing was that their mission was accomplished and the challenges Evelyn received could be well accomplished without any meaningful effort.

Eventually, they signed a contract like what Evelyn had put forward. After the signing was completed, they decided to return to their offices.

Evelyn walks out along with Carlos and Rose under Sean's supervision at each of her steps.

“Your phone looks pale.” Rose said as they just walked out of the meeting room.

“It's okay. Maybe because I'm hungry.” Evelyn answered lying.

“Good. I'll soon reservation restaurants that are around here.” Rose immediately did her job well.

“I'll be going to the toilet for a while. You guys just wait here.” Evelyn said as she walked away. Rose and Carlos waited for Evelyn as the woman said.

Evelyn went into the ladies' bathroom. Wash his paled face. His chest felt tight after the unexpected incident earlier. Looking at Sean's expression it seemed like the man recognized him.

This incident was really unexpected. Previously he had intended to avoid people from his past. Who would have thought that he met the person he wanted to avoid the most.

“Evy calm down. What if he recognizes you. It was just an accidental accident. And he is also unlikely to remember the incident.” Say Evelyn while gripping the edge of the sink.

After her feelings calmed down a little, Evelyn again improved her appearance. Soaking powder and applying lipstick on her lips. After all, he was ready to go out. Back to the world.

“Ah!” Evelyn screeched loudly as her body was pushed back in. He thrashed as his body was forced to lean against the wall.

“How are you Miss Evelyn?” Sean, the handsome man urged Evelyn on the wall. Evelyn panicked. "Shall I call you Sandra Tania Winata?" Sean whispered right in Evelyn's ear. A red hue spread across Evelyn's face as Sean's warm breath hit her skin.

“What are you doing Mr Sean? Release me.” Evelyn said courageously.

“Why act like a stranger if we already know each other Before?” Sean stared at Evelyn's red face with pleasure. This woman looks even more beautiful.

“Don't be rude, Mr. Sean. In the past we both knew what was going on. You have harmed me.”

“Didn't you also enjoy it very much back then?”

“Do not talk carelessly. Untie me. My secretary and assistant are outside. They'll be right in when they hear me yell.” Threaten Evelyn.

“Try. But I suggest not to try it or you will run out of steam. They're not there any more.” Evelyn looked at Sean angrily.

“Don't show me a face like that. You just calm down. They're not why. I've made sure they get good service here while I serve you well anyway.” Sean is getting brave. He put his hand in Evelyn's work shirt.
