The day passed unnoticed. Everyone moves and changes as time passes. Happy and sad to fill the day. People come and go one by one. The wheel of life keeps turning. No waiting for anyone and keep turning on its axis following its times. Diamond watched all the changes calmly.

Without feeling it, three years have passed. During that time, Diamond and Johan had only communicated a few times due to circumstances. Johan was busy with his work. Diamonds never took issue with it. And he chose to hone his qualifications to make it worthy of standing next to Johan and not being a burden to Johan.

But sometimes, the path of life is never expected before.

That night, when Diamond was busy with his campus duties. A news he received ruined his plan.

It was a call from Charlos that informed him that the car carrying Sean and Evelyn was involved in an accident and he was currently taking the two to the hospital.

"Miss, are you okay?" Charlos asked frantically as she did not hear the response from Diamond.

"I'll be there soon uncle." Say Diamond with a vibrating sound.

Strengthening the heart, Diamond immediately tidied his book and stood up. He changed his clothes and rushed to the hospital. At this moment he was only he was left to take care of everything. Bryan's overseas and there's no way he can go home soon. So he left after he shared the news with Sylvia and took her to the hospital as well.

They were still on the way when a call from Charlos came back telling her that Sean Sean and Evelyn could not be saved.

Silent diamond. He lowered his phone as tears fell on both of his cheeks.

"Sister Brily what happened?" Sylvia asked frantically as she looked at her brother who was suddenly crying after receiving the phone call. He immediately snatched Diamond's phone because his brother didn't answer him at all.

"Hello uncle Charlos. What's going on?" Sylvia. Charlos on the other side recognized Sylvia's voice. So So he repeated what he told Diamond.

"Uncle. Uncle don't joke! It's really not funny." Sylvia did not believe it. But his tears had already fallen on both of his cheeks forming a stream that was more swift than Diamonds had.

Diamond looked at his brother who looked crushed. He immediately pulled Sylvia into his arms. He did not say anything to comfort his sister because because he also felt the same way. But instead, he patted Sylvia on the back sharing the burden with him.

The tears that almost came out of his eyes he forced his way back in. Ever since he came to know love, Diamond has been a big fan of daddy and his mommy. He always hoped he had love like theirs both of which were unfettered by the times.

Sean and Evelyn have fulfilled their promise to live on. Diamonds honor the love of both. He knew that his parents could not be separated from each other. This is best for both who will not be able to live life with only one of them.

Arriving at the hospital, Charlos was already waiting for him in front of the room. Charlos was also injured in the accident. He was also in the same car. Bandage was attached to his forehead. His left arm was also injured.

The middle-aged man's face clearly looked sad and worried. With some distress from his injured calf, he hurriedly ran towards the Sylvia Diamond. The two girls he witnessed his growth with his eyes. Seeing the steadfast face of Diamond made Charlos sigh. Then looking at Sylvia who seemed to be filled with tears on both her cheeks made her heart ache.

"Miss, master and mistress are inside." Charlos pointed at the door of challenge behind him. Diamond nodded before he walked in with Sylvia crying beside him. Charlos followed the two into the room.

Two figures lying on top of a hospital cage. Both are covered by a white blanket from head to toe. Diamonds come forward and open the blankets one by one. Those two guys are daddy and mommy.  Each of their heads was wrapped in white bandages with blood imprinted on its surface. Their faces were completely deathly pale from blood loss. Their bodies had been cleared of blood and left open wounds in several places on their bodies.

The diamond stared at the two in almost disbelief. Tonight, it was only a few hours ago that he still saw his mommy with a centil hooking his hand on the sturdy arm of his daddy as they went out to attend a banquet, her mommy was even still showing off their affection before they left. But why is it all like this?

"What happened uncle?" Diamond turned his head and asked Charlos who was standing behind him.

Charlos still vividly remembered the incident that happened an hour ago. They were on their way to attend a banquet. The banquet was held in a Villa on the mountain slope. It took a few hours to get to that place from the Kingston residence. The winding road and surrounded by ravines and forests are also inevitable. But their journey is smooth and comfortable because the car they use is a car that has been arranged in such a way by Sean for the convenience of Evelyn. Not only the comfort, safety and strength of the car is also guaranteed.

When they were only half on their way, suddenly a truck followed them. But since the road was the only road on the mountain, they did not feel that they were being followed. But insecurity will automatically be felt when they feel danger is threatening, Sean being the first to realize they are being followed.

He ordered the driver to increase their speed. And finally he was convinced that they were indeed being followed. Not long after that, a car suddenly appeared that cut their way so that Sean's driver slammed the steering wheel to the left. They were lucky enough that their car went into the forest and not into the ravine on the right side of the road.

The car stopped a while before the existing truck from the start followed them crashing into the car from behind. They cannot escape. The car advanced a few meters before hitting the car. Because of the strong body of the car, it took some effort before the car finally rattled up and caused a fairly large tree to almost fall down because of it.  

After making sure the car was shuffled, the truck eventually backed away and left the scene quickly.

Meanwhile, Sean had Evelyn been unconscious. They were at the back of the attack. So they are trying to get the most injuries. The two of them hugged with their bodies stuck in the body of the car. Their heads were injured with blood filling their faces from the wounds on their heads.

Charlos and the driver are luckier. Even though they were injured, it was not severe. They immediately got out and tried to get their employer out of the car. Charlos called the police and asked for help.

Upon hearing the incident from Charlos, Diamond fell silent. He thought hard before looking at the bodies of his parents who were no longer alive.  

"Uncle, help me investigate this matter." Serious Diamonds say. Related people targeting his family especially his parents are not random people.  

"certain. You just calm down. Everyone involved in it will get a fair reward. I'm gonna go through with this case to the end." Charlos nodded. He was relieved to see a Diamond that could overcome everything.

After their business is done Diamond plows Sylvia home and brings the bodies of Sean and Evelyn to the funeral home to wait for their families. While Charlos takes care of his business to investigate the mastermind behind this unfortunate incident.
