Chapter_22. Accepting the Challenge

According to her wishes, the next morning, Evelyn went to the company. Roberto who has been holding down the Marcus Corp branch in Indonesia has been waiting for Evelyn's arrival in the office lobby.

Yesterday, when he received word from Maxim that Evelyn would come and take over the company, he immediately prepared everything. Starting from arranging the office to arrange all the documents needed by his boss' daughter.

Roberto nodded politely. Then he led the way to take Evelyn into a special elevator to reach the highest floor of the office building. Carlos, who is currently officially Evelyn's secretary, follows behind the woman along with Rose.

Evelyn's room was arranged in such a way. A blend of light brown and dark brown dominated each part. A large room with glass sides that overlooks a stunning view of the city.

“How about your room miss? If you are not satisfied we can reset it.”

“No need uncle Roberto. For me, this is enough. What matters is the comfort of work. For the rest just a complement.”

“You are really the same as what master Maxim.” described Robert was amazed.

“Good. What's today's agenda?” evelyn asked without saying anything.

“Your schedule is deliberately emptied until noon for today. The plan, today we will introduce you to the company leaders. Ten o'clock this morning there will be a joint for it.” Answer Carlos. Evelyn nodded in understanding. “And during the day you are scheduled to have lunch with our prospective working partners in the Cempaka hotel construction project.” Carlos continued reading Evelyn's schedule.

While Evelyn is already busy with her routine, Laura and Maxim go to take her two grandchildren for a walk to get to know their neighborhood. The atmosphere in which they lived was clearly much different.

The surrounding environment, the style of the building, its citizens and also the routines of its citizens are very different.
