Episode 10 - INSTANTANEOUS TRAGEDY Part 2

Crying is not my habit. Today I consider it an exception. Because I can't hold him back anymore. I hope my crying is not heard from outside. I'm gonna put my tears in the toilet till there's nothing left. I knew that Hami couldn't do that to me. We've been friends for a long time and I know him very well.

When the children were away from me out of fear, Hami was always standing next to me. So there's no way he's writing anything non-no about me. I trust him so much. But. earlier Hami said that the last to check the members' articles was Edelweis. I'm not sure if he did it. But there was a little doubt about me. Is it possible that he did it for something fad?

I don't really know him. All I know is that Ed is kind, friendly to anyone, and very close to Mayang. Are.. are they both playing tricks on me?

        I shake my head strongly. I tried to erase my increasingly wild shadow. Ed is not what I imagined. Ed's a good guy and I shouldn't suspect him. Same with Mayang. He's my own cousin.

I feel so guilty about suspecting some people. I washed my face slowly. After that I walked out. There's no one at all. Just a few steps, I saw Mayang walking towards me while occasionally looking back. As his face turned around, his steps came to a halt as it almost collided with me. He looked very surprised.

“Hai, May,” my cow. Mayang just shut up. “May, sorry yes,” I said half-down. ‘Sorry because I suspected you,’ I added in my heart. She smiles.

“Feeling guilty because you have the desire to call someone else?” tanyanya cynic. “Yaa.. At least, that article has made you realize who you are. In his eyes, you are just a scary girl,” Mayang turned around and just kept laughing. I swallowed spit. I immediately pulled his shoulder violently.

“Please tell me the truth. Please tell me what you already know, May,” I said along with my inner voice. I really want to trust everyone. Mayang began to feel desperate and tried to pull his hand that I was still holding.

“ED DID IT!!! OUH!!” he shouted while stomping his feet to the ground. Both my eyes wide. I was very surprised by what he just said. My hands are starting to roll. Mayang walked again. With a slightly absentminded step, I held it back again.

“Wait, May! What do you mean earlier that Ed actually did it?” I tried asking for an explanation again. Mayang laughed cynically while shaking his waist.

“Yes, Ed already swapped Hami's article to deliberately embarrass you. Satisfied?!” my hands started to clench. I tried to endure the sadness I felt.

“There's no reason Ed to do that,” I said half-vibrating. Mayang laughed again. I couldn't stop my fingers from moving because I was agitated.

“Reason? You ask me a reason? Ed knew that you liked him. Remember, he did it so you would realize you didn't deserve to be with him. You were told to talk to him first. If you are still not aware of who you are, paste the article in your face!” he said, holding his five fingers close to my face.

“You.. didn't help him, did you, May? I believe it because you're my cousin. Part of my family,” I said softly. Mayang laughed again.

“Yes, I help. I'm his girlfriend-to-be! Ed is too good, so he can't help you. That's why I helped you in that way!” I could hardly hear his statement anymore. The words I heard earlier were very painful to me. My legs are also a bit shaky. I started squeezing the skirt so not strong it sustained endless sadness. “What is special about our relationship? We're just cousins not sodara bladders!”

Mayang walked away from me. My face is getting lower. My tears almost spilled. But I still want to hold him.

“ED!” I gasped when I heard Mayang's voice again. Ed and Miwon were standing in front of him. My lips are a little twitching. Since when are they there?

“Kak, so that girl is your type?” Miwon started talking while referring to Mayang. Miwon's face was smiling for a moment. Edelweis. His face seemed to hold something back. “Wah, so he just ngarep dong!” miwon said with a small laugh. Ed walked up to Mayang who was still glued in front of him.

“What have you done?” edelweis asked while looking down. Mayang did not answer at all. Edelweis nodded many times. “He's your cousin, right?  I didn't want to suspect you before, but now it's proven with good reason. I won't report this to Mr. Sagu. But I hope you can decide for yourself to get out of exkul mading.”

“Whatever the reason, you have smeared the good name of Ekskul mading. I'm also sorry for letting you take care of the article. It's also my fault anyway. You, May, owe an apology to the children of mading and also Afika,” Edelweis words are rather sharp.

I was a little confused about what happened. The bell rang. The break time is over. I immediately walked past the three of them.

I nodded without seeing him. Miwon pulled my hand. We walked up the stairs to the classroom. Now I really want to cry. But I can still hold it.

Silence is his habit. But the silence on this one really makes my heart a little bit sliced. It was as if I felt his sadness. Afika, if you want to be angry, just be angry. If you want to cry, just cry. Let out all the emotions holding you back!

If you do this, I can't bear to hold you and calm you down. After school, I walked with you and your two friends from behind. I kept thinking about how I could comfort you. Suddenly I found something I wanted to do for you.

“Fik, come with me for a minute!” I held your hand. You just look at me

in silence.

“Where are you going? I'm coming!” exclaim Timmy. I shook my head quickly.

“Can't! Fik, you should come with me anyway! Your bike is parked, we ride my bike!” I pulled it again. He's still bowing listlessly. Even so, he kept walking after me. Hami and Timmy kept shouting.

“Hee.. I'm really not invited!”

“Miwon, take good care of him yes!”

After arriving at the parking lot, I immediately put on my helmet and rode a ninja motorcycle. Afika was waiting in front of the parking lot while wearing her helmet. His forehead immediately wrinkled when he saw me coming riding a motorcycle.

“Hee... What seat is it??! I don't want to, ah! Use my motor ajah!” hisses. I immediately prevented him from re-entering the parking lot.

“Udah! Don't bring! Wear this more flattering! Our journey is still far!”

“Where are we going anyway?” afika said somewhat annoyed. There were motor horns behind me. Apparently they were hampered because my bike was still in front of the parking door. My eyes beckoned for Afika to get on the bike as soon as possible. Finally he went up with a grunt.

“Hold my shirt tight yeah, Fik! Not to fall!” after showing the STNK on the security guard, my bike started to get out of the fence, turn right and sped as fast as possible.
