The Stairway Conversation

"So .. does Adji like Naraya?" adit asked as the two of them left the twelfth-grade canteen.

Gesna looked surprised. "Hurry up soon."

"The look of Adji's gesture when you say Naraya's name" Adit said, pocketing both hands in the bag. They walked through the hallway that bridges between the canteens behind the school building.

"But dear, rejected," said Gesna, watching the basketball court at a glance. Eyes are like looking for something.

"Why rejected?" Adit who noticed Gesna's movements immediately looked at her.

Gesna immediately threw away the gaze from the basketball court and raised his shoulders indifferently. "Yes, that means Nay doesn't like him. Girls reject guys are definitely because they don't like it," he replied while speeding up. The hallway had started to quiet, the entrance bell had rung from earlier.

Adit nodded, spelling out Gesna with one move. They turn to go up to the steps of the stairs that are on the left and right of the building. Gesna chose the left staircase that students rarely pass because it was far from the canteen.

"I don't think Adji's kayak, there's a nolak, too" muttered Adit chuckling. "That means you accept me for liking me, dong?"

The girl looked up and whispered, "Don't talk about it here. Let people hear." Gesna continued speaking. "If it's about Adji, I told you. What's wrong with opening hearts with other girls? Just don't be Grandma Drops. I'm good to see itchy girls."

"It's not your right to date anyone, Non."

Gesna's feet stopped at the second rung and she glanced at Adit with the corner of a fierce eye. "The boyfriend of my close ones means to be my friend too. The problem is I'm actually friends with girls like that. Umpah, deh. Why are you talking to them, anyway?"

"So long ago I read the news about them also in BOS. You're Naraya's friend, you know better."

The BOS that Adit refers to is the School Online Bulletin, a journalistic exculus that has become more popular since it published news about the candidates for the head of OSIS, last month.

"So, you're that lo kepo?" This time, Gesna glanced at him with a mocking look. "Like the consumption of gossip too, it turns out."

"No, just want to hear from the other side of the closest person. The name of the news needs clarification."

"Talent want to know you are very tall like it is," reproached Gesna with a view of dislike.

They had already reached the end of the second floor, behind Adit there was a further staircase leading to the third floor, the place where the twelfth grade was located. However, Adit chose to follow Gesna's steps towards the eleventh grade.

"Lo why keep following me, anyway? Don't you go up?"

"You go to class, you go to class" said Adit ignoring the shock on Gesna's face.

"No," Gesna refused firmly. "Good there. Don't you fucking kayak that again. Don't miss my class all of a sudden. I don't like to make a sensation in school and be the object of BOS reporter gossip."

Gesna immediately left him, chasing after someone who was walking back to them. Patting Riko's back tightly then chuckled at the boy's shock. Riko had pushed Gesna's head slowly in response, but after that Riko's arm embraced Gesna's shoulder intimately.

Adit watched the scene with worry. The request he had agreed to earlier this afternoon was immediately regretted. He should have insisted that everyone know their status.

Isn't status important? People who say status is not important are people who manipulate themselves. Friends are different from girlfriends. Being friends with a date is clearly different from any other side.

Earlier, Gesna said the reason women reject men because they do not like. So if Gesna accepts him, does that mean she likes him too? But why doesn't Gesna let people know about their relationship?

Gesna's back that was getting lost without looking back again made Adit draw conclusions. Gesna doesn't admit she could be because she doesn't like him yet.

There is another possibility that passes in the head. Gesna said that his friends' boyfriends were his friends too. Does that also mean Gesna has not been willing to introduce Adit to the girl's friends because Gesna's friends don't like her? Like Gesna doesn't like Fiska?

Did Gesna's friends dislike him due to rumors about the Chieftain? Adit still remembers Naraya's question attack on him regarding Gesna. If Naraya is not a cousin, it could be until now, the girl still does not like Adit. It was just Naraya, yet Thunder, Riko, Ilham, Adrian, Adji and other names that could affect Gesna.

Adit stepped up to the third floor with a raging feeling. Whatever the reason, he still didn't like it this way. By knowing the status, at least Gesna male friends can maintain the attitude when with Gesna. Can't just embrace it like that. Gesna's his girlfriend.

Since childhood, Adit has never been willing to share his possessions with others. His is his. My mother is his. Aunty Sabrina is also hers. The two beloved women left without her being able to prevent it. This time, Adit won't let hers be taken away, just because Gesna doesn't admit that she's Adit's girlfriend.

That determination led Adit to stand in the corner of the stairs when he broke up school. He was deliberately waiting for Gesna who was walking involuntarily towards him.

Gesna's steps stopped. He then slowed his pace. At the end of the stairs, there was Adit walking down. Gesna was sure Adit saw it, it would be very strange if Gesna turned around.

He turned his head left and right. The eleventh grade disciples were still full in front of the classroom corridor. The tail of his eyes glanced at Adit's whereabouts. It was like waiting for something.

Gesna passed by Adit casually, suppressing the real anxiety that came.

"What is this guy going to eat?" Adit approached him and went down the stairs.

Gesna pretended to be deaf. Did Adit forget that he didn't want others to be suspicious? And Gesna knew who was behind them. A BOS reporter.

"Non," call Adit.

Gesna sends a signal from his fleeting glance, asking Adit to be quiet. Adit followed him all the way to the motorbike parking lot. "I told you no one knows. If you like it all will also know," his his hiss restrained.

Ignoring his protest, Adit approached. "You got a motor?"

"No. Last morning he flew using a carpet," he replied scowling. Some eyes turned towards them. If the events in front of the class and in the cafeteria of the twelfth grade could be considered coincidental, it would be impossible in this parking lot he happened to also talk to Adit. People aren't that stupid either.

"So where is this going?" tanya Adit saw her ride on the scooter.

"Ke Ancol, want to snack." Gesna pulled the scooter out of the parking lot. Handlebar scooter held Adit. It was like waiting for the right answer from his lips. He's clucking. "Yes, gohome. Strangely enough, my question."

After that, Gesna spurred the scooter towards the house, opened the door and squeezed the body onto the sofa. He was tired despite not doing any strenuous activities. What if the courtship is like this, huh?

At first she accepts Adit, she thinks dating is good, has close friends who understand. But why Adit is so hard to understand. He already said that he did not want to be the attention of people because of gossip. Gesna likes to be covered by BOS, but because achievement is not due to gossip. He likes it when his name and Renard name is referred to as the school basketball captain. He likes it when he gets the news when he receives an award. That extent. Quite Naraya, Renard, Adji and the famous people of OSIS alone whose personal life is discussed one school. Gesna the ogah.

Yeah, hell. He understands Adit is the Chief. Maybe the BOSS would be afraid to discuss it, but the Lambe School account? Oh, wow. No one knows who is behind the fingers.

The new Gesna will close when a shadow comes. He looked around, watching Adit walk in.

"Why was that like that?" Adit sat on the floor to look right in his eyes.

Gesna. "What is it like?"

"Dodge-dodge like that, Non." Without blinking, Adit's sharp eyes waited for an answer.

"Well, you agree. Why are we talking about it again?"

"I want to know," replied Adit short.

"Can you explain why?"

"Ih, what, anyway? I told you I didn't want to get a digosipin. Don't you know who's behind us? Reporter's BOSS."

"You're afraid of digosipin? I'll tell the BOS chairman to never enter your name in the gossip rubric. Right, right?"

Gesna sat down, opened the phone and showed Adit an account. "Do you know that there's a Lambe School account?"

Adit took Gesna's phone, checked the account. Unlike the BOS, the Lambe School account is more like scraping through people's personal affairs. There are photos taken in secret and revealed to the public. "You're afraid they gotipin you? Let me find out who they are."

"Can you manage everyone?" Gesna pulled back her phone and got up to the kitchen. "No, right? So follow my request, huh. Consider this my second request. Can't you?"

"I don't promise" Adit responded objecting. The guy notices Gesna opening the hood. "Who's cooking?"

"The Mother." Gesna researched the dishes. Empal gurgle, vegetable tamarind and sambal terasi. His stomach got hungry and he grabbed the plate. "Eat, yuk?"

Adit nodded, sitting on the chair. "Nation is not much."

"Ye, take it yourself, Bang. It's a feeling to be taken away" said Gesna.

Adit stood back up and took the plate, approaching to Gesna who spoons the rice. "Si Mbak is new or what? When we got back from Bandung, nothing."

"No, it's been a long time. He comes every day, but from Monday to Friday. You see, on Saturdays we rarely eat at home" explained Gesna, putting dishes on the table. He walked towards the dispenser in the corner to fill the glass.

"Today, is there PR?"

Gesna fell silent and turned dramatically. "Lo is the same Thunder. Saban hari, tanyain PR. I'm like an old man. Nothing, PR's lazy to see me."

"Keep asking what? If you ask the evidence, it's the KPK Audit."

Gesna's lips began to curl. "Loves."

He began to fill the side dishes on the plate, took the pith, took the sour vegetable sauce and sambal.

"Why not eat vegetables?" ask Adit who noticed how he took the sour vegetable sauce.

"Not good."

"That's the broth you take, if it's not delicious it means the sauce is also not good." Appoint Adit with chin.

"Bitter" replied Gesna.

"Sayum sour tastes must be sour, not bitter."

"Ih, bring it." Gesna.

"Soyur is good for health. There are vitamins in vegetables that are not in fruit or meat."

"Oh, yes Thunder, yes elo. Hobby talk about vegetables."

"Thunder continues what you called from earlier." Adit then shut up, focused on the food.

Gesna clucked, swallowed the rice. Yeah, too. Why does he remember Thunder so much today, huh? How's his best friend doing?

This afternoon, the basketball team is in intensive training, preparing for the tournament in two months. He was sure this time Thunder would come training. I don't know why Gesna can be so sure.

This is a golden opportunity. Gesna wanted to talk to Thunder. Asking why the Thunder did not reply to his message, why the Thunder changed.

As Adji said, the relationship he and Thunder could still be rearranged. At least like that. Yes, he likes thunder. But to be answered or not is the right of Thunder. After all, he chose not to tell his feelings because he wanted their friendship to remain good at any time.

"Thunder is the son of OSIS, huh?" ask Adit.

Gesna was snacking while chewing rice. If Thunder finally made up with Joceline. It was Thunder's choice. Although Gesna was offended to know the news from Instagram, it still should not make them tenuous. Friendship is built on mutual trust.

Of course, Gesna does not want to be like Adji and Naraya who become strangers as if they do not know each other just because a feeling of love grows between friendships.

True Adji said, with him choosing to keep his feelings secret to Thunder. It should be that the friendship between him and the guy will not be disturbed. There should be no awkwardness or bad taste, like they have been all this time.

So, all Gesna has to do is handle her feelings again. Reprimanding the Thunder as if there was nothing. Yeah, that's what Gesna should do later.

"I have a mathematical PR" said Adit breaking Gesna's daydreams. "Where did your maths lesson get?"

Gesna looked confused. Why did the guy ask her math lesson? "meaning? What does this have to do with my math lessons?"

"Let's study together."

Coughing became an immediate reflex to the offer. Studying mathematics? Why don't you just throw him in the crocodile pool?

Gesna. "First, I don't like math. Second, I'm going to basketball practice this afternoon. There's going to be a tournament."

Adit's spoon paused for a moment. The guy went quiet again. "I'm waiting for you to practice, huh?"

"Huh? No need, no need," reject Gesna spontaneously. "This runs out of your way home, doing PR math, washing hands, washing feet, taking a nap. That's good, isn't it?"

"Why are you now like an old man?" snorting Adit while finishing the rice. "I'll pick you up later."

"No, I don't like it."

Adit stood up, put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. His hand slapped Gesna's head gently before stepping up to fetch water. "It's okay, the important thing is to like me. I'll go home, baby. Want to learn for our brilliant future."

Gesna growled, grasping the empty spoon in annoyance. Adit's back that was behind him was targeted by the spoon bar. Got hit! Feel it! Who told you to make a goiter?

"You threw me?"

Adit turned and picked up the spoon, while Gesna whistled up to the dishwasher with a face without sin. Spoon without the master Adit deliver to his friends who wait washed.

"Once again rough with me, I will kiss," Adit threatened as he passed.

Gesna grimaced, almost throwing the plate so anxious. Whose girlfriend is this annoying?
