A Coincidence

Gesna squirmed slowly, pulling the blanket that had been exposed. Rubbing his nose into a soft roll. Nothing beats the pleasure of sleeping well. 

Sleep well? Gesna's brain thought again. Then he opened his eyes, looked around. He's in his own room.

Huh huh? Own room? Gesna immediately stood up and tried to remember. Wasn't he on the bike last night with Adit? Is that a dream or what?

Gesna hurriedly headed to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth. While glazing, he realized the clothes that were being worn. Toothless T-shirt, a small, black and cute dragon monster from How To Train Your Dragon. This shirt he bought in Bandung. 

Gesna's feet immediately ran out of the room, down the stairs and called out to Gustav.

"No need to scream. I'm here" cried Gustav from the kitchen.

Gesna then headed for the kitchen. She was wondering how the story was in the room this morning. "Bang, I..."

Gesna's sentence was cut off as soon as he saw who was sitting next to Gustav. His eyes were round and his lips were still hanging. Adit was there.

"Tremendous as it may be," Adit chuckled.

Gesna reflexively scratched the back of her head and sat down next to Gustav. At the dinner table there is spaghetti and sweet tea. He was trying to understand the coincidence. Then last night, he was with Adit. But how is the story that he is already in the room?

"His sleep?" asked Gustav with a mocking smile.

Gesna just shut up and took the tea that was part of it. Sipping the tea slowly to hide the embarrassment that suddenly spread in the face.

"Lo if you sleep look around the place why? Poor Adit, once he gets here, he's hunchback because he's stuck in his back."

Gesna glanced at Adit from behind the cup. The guy just laughed.

"Gue fell asleep?" asked Gesna to Adit and only replied a nod. "Seriously? How can I be in my room?"

"Help him, dodol. Adit so right up to my phone. He sits on the bike, can't be afraid of falling."

Gesna's lips pursed. He still could not believe that he was asleep. As Gesna remembered, she had already tried her hardest to open her eyes. Not wanting to linger with awkwardness, Gesna pulled a plate of spaghetti, turned a fork to roll the paste and began eating. 

"Gue take a shower first." Gustavo got up from the chair. "Ge, lend me Adit's shirt. Who knew he needed to take a shower before he came home" Gustav said as he passed and left the two of them behind.

Gesna heard Gustav's orders, but for the sake of all the sudden shame. He was still facing his plate. Repeatedly twisting the fork and spooning the spaghetti into the mouth.

"Nake?" adit's reprimand opened the conversation.

Gesna just nagging. "How come you haven't come home yet?"

"Lo ngusir?" The guy smiled back. "Yes, I'll be home soon."

Nodding, Gesna again grabbed her tea. "What time is it until last night?"

"Four three."

"Oh..." Gesna rounded her lips while glancing at the wall clock. It's eight in the morning. Fortunately Saturday, if not, he would have been late for school.

Adit grabbed the tissue in the middle of the table and rubbed something on Gesna's cheek. "Lo eat like a boy, right down to the cheeks."

Gesna immediately pulled the tissue that Adit was holding. "Not to find a chance."

Adit chuckled again. "Udah, ah. I'll go home first." The guy got up and grabbed a chair. "If I want to find a chance, when cooking spaghetti I've sowed the feathers of longing."

Gesna. Foreskin fur? Cook spaghetti? The paste he was chewing suddenly caught in his throat.

"So how was Bandung? What's the matter, lo?" riko asked as they sat together.

Tonight, they agreed to meet together. In addition to Riko, Ilham and Adrian, there were Naraya and Asri participating. They plan to spend Sunday nights hanging out in their cute style at the cafe that Riko recommends.

"My brother is sick, bege! Why try it? No, no, no." Gesna read the menu, was about to order dinner.

"Let's reason you alone, even though the madol peg." Riko chuckled while watching Gesna. "Eh, your new clothes, huh?"

"The accusation is unwarranted." Gesna glanced at Naraya. "If Nay says, what is the philosophy of your life? Is that it, Nay?" gesna imitated a sentence that Naraya often spoke.

Naraya just raised an eyebrow not caring. The girl was busy with her phone, typing something. 

Ilham and Adrian kept glancing towards Gesna. "Yes, new clothes. Where is Gege's shirt so sweet? Long hands again" muttered Ilham.

"Cie, new clothes," Adrian ledek. 

Gesna glanced back at his clothes. He felt that this dress was funny. So that this morning he immediately washed and put it back on once it was dry. It was as if there were no other clothes piled up in the closet. Gesna grimaced, until a toyoran came to wake her up.

"Read what menu do you do? Very long!" adrian protest.

"Brew!" After ordering the menu to the waiter, he glanced at his clothes back. "How sweet? Just normal, huh."

Riko throws a candy bar in the middle of the table. Candy prepared for visitors while waiting for dishes. The candy hit Gesna's forehead and fell on her lap. "Lonya was unconscious. That is, buy that girl's shirt. You usually buy a guy's shirt, Ge."

Asri also commented. "Yes, that's a girl's shirt. Look at the cut on the waist. I guess you're not buying. Bought Mama, huh?"

Gesna nodded quickly. Adit chose this shirt for him, but it's impossible to say that he was chosen by the Chief, right?

Among all the commotion on their table, only Naraya still looked solemn. The girl was also thrown candy by Riko. "Udah was the world of maya. Go back to the real world."

"But this is important!" naraya said judes while throwing the candy back at Riko. The candy fell into Gesna's lap.

"But I think I've seen Gege's shirt. Where are ya?" Inspiration tries to twist memories. However, failed. The guy still seems curious. 

Gesna picked up the candy that was on his lap. Behind the candy wrapper there is a funny writing containing strange commands. An idea came suddenly to fill the night this week. "Ngapain is talking about clothes. Candy challenge play, yuk?"

Naraya who finally ended the activity reply to the message then took notice. The girl put her phone together with a bunch of phones in the middle of the table. "Kuy! But I'll take a peek at one first. What's the prank anyway?" After taking one candy from Gesna's hand, the girl grimaced a little.  "Can! Come onl. How's it?"

The three guys who were at the table nodded, Asri also agreed. Gesna stirred up the contents of the aquarium and thrust it into another.  Everyone has taken one candy, in silence they read the existing prank.

"Have me, sing a national song in public." Inspiration flips the candy, shows the truth of his words. Not long after the guy stood towards the middle of the cafe.

Ilham sang the song Forward Undaunted with indifference. Ah, it's too easy. This cafe is filled with young couples. Inspiration is only laughed at once and left alone. Inspiration back to the seat. "Lo what, Ko?"

Riko sighed, hers was too difficult. "Gue lost, huh. I paid this bill."

"What the hell, anyway?" Gesna took the candy in Riko's hand. Gesna's laughter exploded. "Call the ex most beautiful! Mampuos!"

It wasn't just Gesna, the others laughed.

Riko raised both hands, unwilling to follow the challenge. 

"It can't be dong, Ko. Follow challenge. Phone spout!" force Gesna while grabbing Riko's phone from the middle of the table. "Speaker don't forget."

Riko rubbed her face, in a rage. It is too difficult to contact the most beautiful people who had stopped and incised wounds.

"the hunt! Bemos!" naraya Ledek. "Did you forget the number? Ci, is there still a Cecyl phone number?"

Asri said quickly, "There is! There's so. Want lo?"

Riko cursed repeatedly. There is also a Cecylia number on her phone. There was no intention at all to remove the number. Inevitably, Riko took Gesna's proffered phone and pressed the call.

"Hello," the gentle greeting across made Riko speechless. "Hello, Ko?"

"Hi, Cyl," Riko replied stiffly. Everyone in the chair kept quiet and watched the incident. Noticing how Riko's entire vocabulary vanished and the guy didn't know what to say.

"Yes. Why, Ko?"

Gesna covered her mouth with the help of her palms. He already wanted to laugh at Riko out loud. Moreover, seeing Riko repeatedly rubbed his fretful face.

"It's okay. Just ..." Riko looks to scratch his head. "... Just checking your number is still active or not. I cleaned up contacts again."

The girl across the phone was silent. While Gesna was pushing Riko's head in a fit of anxiety, Naraya and Asri began to try to hold back the almost-off laughter as usual.

"Oh," replied Cecylia quietly. "Cirtain why."

"Yes, sori is disturbing. Just now, yeah." Riko ended the call immediately. Almost a year after breaking up from Cecylia, Riko never wanted to know another girl. All the children of the basecamp know that, so the story of Riko and Cecylia is always a mockery. 

"Uhm.. Uh, BTW, you don't bother the truth" interrupted Cecylia before Riko pressed the red button.

Ilham immediately patted Riko on the shoulder, providing support. Riko still looked awkward. 

As if understanding the caller's awkwardness, Cecylia ended the conversation. "Yes, deh. Bye, Rico. Take a good care." Then there was the sound of the phone disconnected from the phone that had been turned on by the speaker.

Adrian chuckled while looking at the others. "If Dear Nathan says. The former means sweet in memory."

"Not a demon?" tanya Riko snorted and put the phone to the table.

Gesna immediately shook Riko's head. "No need for ex-demons. In fact lo kicep too, taio rhinoceros."

To release the unpleasant atmosphere, Asri thrust herself after Riko. "Have me now, order snacks in the cafeteria while rapping. Tomorrow's Monday that's it."

"Ah, that's easy" said Ilham.

"Do you have no?" asri Reply. "What do you have, Nay?"

Naraya shows the candy being held. "Read the Pancasila in public," he replied, "go read now, yes."

Riko took Naraya. "No, no. If you read now, it is easy! The day after reading, in the field finished the ceremony. Anyway there are frills 'in public' should be in school not here."

"Means I'm also Monday dong?" adrian asked to show her the candy. "Get me, two minutes of rocking in public."

Riko nodded. "Why is the prank all easy, anyway? Got lo what, Ge?"

Gesna. He forgot to read the writing on his own candy. His hand quickly flipped the candy. No way! Gesna gulped. His fate will be very unlucky tonight.

"What?" Riko took the Gesna candy like the girl did to him. "Ready to accept any challenge," said Riko loudly with eyes glinting witty. "So, Ge. What do you want to challenge?"

"Anjai. Don't be weird, yeah." Gesna started lobbying Riko. Those 'anything' words sounded pretty awful.

"Can't do that, dong," said Ilham. "Riko just now can take on the most difficult challenge for him."

Gesna's hand came forward and shook Ilham. "Eh, ta'o rhino. You got that easy, yeah. Don't make people difficult. In the afterlife you will be complicated as well" said Gesna reassured.

Naraya chuckles snorting. "Alesan lo, Gege. Ngeles keep kayak bajaj. Tell me ajalah, Ko. What challenge?"

"What, woy?" riko asked the others to give her an idea. They seemed to start thinking about the most embarrassing idea for Gesna.

Time has shown at nine o'clock. Cafes are getting crowded. The stage beside the entrance also started to turn on the lights. An MC went up to the stage and greeted the visitors.

"Where is the thunder, so long?" ask Ilham. 

"Yes, I sent a message but it has not been answered," added Riko.

"Patience, again service time. What's important is that you tell us we're here, right?" gesna. As the person who knew the schedule of Thunder the most, he calmed down.

The applause of the audience greeted the incoming band, distracting them. The shooting light is pointing towards the center of the stage. On the stage, a person faces behind while strumming a guitar. From instrumental guitar passages and drumming, both Naraya and Gesna seem to recognize the song to be performed.

"Nay. SOAD, Nay." Gesna nudged slowly Naraya. System of A Down is one of Naraya's favorite heavy metal bands.

Naraya nodded as she started singing along. Accompanying the vocalist who began to turn around. The way the vocalist plays his guitar is very cool, but that's not what makes Gesna want to faint while glaring on the spot. It's because the vocalist is Adit.
