Fire Sun

Fire Sun
Starting Point

Thunder put the phone on the table. His body was cold despite changing clothes. But there is something colder to sucks that is disappointed.

Adit's? Why should Adit? Gesna could ask for his help and he would accompany Gesna as usual.

He was willing to call while riding a motorcycle just to hear unwanted news. Why would Gesna lie? Didn't believe Gesna with Thunder?

Guntur knows Gesna in Bandung with Adit. Why did Gesna say there was only her, the nanny and Gandhi? Did Gesna forget that Guntur must have contacted Gustav if he could not be contacted? And Guntur first knew Gesna in Bandung, went with Adit of Gustav. Not from Gesna.

So long a friend, why should there be a cover-up like this? Indeed, Thunder likes Gesna, Thunder loves Gesna. However, Thunder knew himself. He will not ban what his best friend likes.

Does Gesna think she's going to ban the girl from being close to Adit? Given Adit's notoriously sadistic reputation at school? Thunder clucked in annoyance. If so, Gesna's thinking is thin.

"Oh my goodness, Ge. We didn't meet yesterday afternoon, kali. This is how it looks."

Thunder sprawled his long body on the mattress, trying to ease the overflowing disbelief until the phone rang. On the screen, he lazily picked up an unknown phone.

It turned out Joceline called. Maybe the girl's been conscious from fainting. "Hello. Yes, Ling?"

The voice of a man called Thunder. "It's Thunder? I'm Ling-ling's papa."

Thunder speechless. "Yes, Om."

"Ling-ling is in the hospital. It didn't come to our senses and we brought it here."

The body of thunder reflex sat down. Was Joceline so bad after the rain? "Ling-ling's sick, Om?"

"Can you come here, Thunder? I'm at Pelita Bangsa Hospital."

Without Thunder noticing, he rushed towards the mentioned hospital. Referee once how Joceline can be that bad just because of the rain. What is more frightening Thunder is why Joceline wants to be invited to rain if his body is not strong? What did he have to say to Joceline's parents? Die her.

Thunder half ran in the long corridor of the hospital. Passing through a row of special handling rooms is also a polyclinic. Several times asked the existing nurse to meet with Papa Joceline in front of the VIP ward.

"I'm sorry I was so long. I was going around looking for the room" said Guntur feeling guilty. "What's "Ling-ling, Om? What's he sick of?"

The man invited Thunder to sit on a long bench in the park. Long enough the man just kept silent and Thunder sank further with a feeling of guilt.

Well, why would he take Joceline raining, anyway? The girl is not Gesna who wants to rain lightning even though it will still be healthy. They both used to play basketball while taking a rain shower. The tomorrow? Yeah, just be healthy. Mamah said, as long as it is not the first rain of the dry season and the rain is heavy, a rain shower will not make you sick.

"So here," said papa Joceline opened his voice. The man stared at the garden with an unreadable look and a grieving face. "Ling-ling's pain is not your fault. Call you because you want a story."

Thunder heaved a sigh of relief. Thank goodness then. Mamah could cry if she knew she was hurting people's children, and Papah would hang her.

"From childhood, Ling-ling has a congenital heart defect. His heart rate is unpredictable, sometimes faster than normal and sometimes below normal. That's why I take care of him so much."

Papa Joceline took a deep breath, as if it was hard to tell that to Thunder.

"A few months ago, Ling-ling insisted on running for the OSIS election. I don't give her permission to join the inaugurations but she insisted. He promised he'd always tell me."

Thunder nodded. All OSIS management candidates are required to follow the combined Diklat which is held for three days and two nights under the foot of the mountain. However, he did not know that Joceline was not allowed and forced to come along.

"From the beginning, I felt strange. Does Ling-ling want to join OSIS? But after I found this book, I knew why."

The man held up a yellow book. That striking color is often in every Joceline fixture. Yellow is Joceline's favorite color.

"My son likes you."

Thunder wailed. It's not that he's never heard the confessions of girls, but it's different. Who said even his parents. Thunder Body was already ice-free.

"I'm not asking you to do the same. I know feelings cannot be forced. I'm just asking you to be generous with him. Beyond his veiled intent in befriending you."

The man gave the book to Thunder then returned to Joceline's room. In the garden, accompanied by the gurgling of water falling from the small shower in front of him, Thunder began to read.

Joceline writing is small and neat. Every day the girl reported to this book how her daily life. Including telling how his heart felt tight when suddenly grasped and pulled Thunder left the school of OSIS. Yeah, when Naraya and Renard had a disagreement.

Thunder smoothed. He thought Joceline was pale from fear of Naraya. She never expected Joceline to be like that because of her attitude.

From this book as well, Thunder knew that Joceline no longer had a mother. Her mother died of heart disease. Both Joceline and her mother had the same disease.

In the last courtyard, Thunder's chest thump became increasingly uncontrollable. Joceline wrote that she was one of the reasons the girl survived.

Thunder closed the book with a noisy feeling. He then walked into the room to replace Papa Joceline who was going to eat in the canteen. He saw a girl who lay pale and limp.

Joceline has heart disease?

Thunder thought the disease was only affecting adults and the elderly. Not a kid his age. He observed Joceline's narrowed eyes. It must hurt so much Joceline.

He saw Gesna waving to Adit just as his heart was already squeezed. What else really gets this disease?

The figure in front of him moved. Thunder was still watching in silence.

Joceline's eyes began to open, looking at the ceiling. Before long he turned his head, trying to find out where he was, and Joceline turned his head when he saw him. The body tried to wake up, but it held Thunder.

"Don't be forced, Ling. Lo just realized."

"Gue why?" ask Joceline.

"Fainting. All that stuff."

Joceline rubbed his face. "What time is it?"

"Oight hour." Thunder glanced at the watch then looked back at Joceline. "What's the pain, Ling?"

Joceline. "Nothing, really. Well, I was long inings, huh? Sorry for being a ngerepotin lo."

"What the hell are you? I said it's okay too."

In his eyes, Joceline was an excited person. The girl never told anyone her pain. Not even refusing to share the proposal. Although all is reasonable. As written in the book that Thunder had returned to his father Joceline, Joceline had always wanted to be with him.

"Ling, aren't you hungry?" thunder asked as he pointed at the food above the nightstand. "Eat, yuk?"

Joceline turned to the nightstand. Then I saw Thunder back. "Udah night, Tour. Just go back."

"Liet. I told you the same house people want to look at you. The boy I'm trying to do is in the name." Thunder chuckles. "Why the hell lo? I'm so scared, I see a demon."

Reprimanded like that, Joceline stuttered. The girl's face turned red and her pallor gradually faded.

As soon as Thunder remembered what was written in the book, Joceline said his heartbeat was unstable if it was near him. The problem is, with Joceline's vulnerable condition, of course Thunder does not want him to be the cause of things that are not desirable on Joceline.

"Sori, sori. I was just kidding. Relax, relax." Thunder patted Joceline's arm softly, as if calming the girl down. "So .. you don't want to eat, do you?"

Joceline shook his head faintly.

"Drink, deh." The thunder fetched the drinking water and helped Joceline to drink.

"Keep what else?" askanya after Joceline returned to melt.

Joceline's little eyes narrowed, looking at Thunder oddly. "I guess I should ask you. Lo why? How strange," he sizzled.

"Yes... Being made to eat drinks is said to be strange," said Thunder. "Gue ajakin just robbed, how?"

A smile on Joceline's lips began to expand. Thunder if it interrupts like origin, but funny.

***

"God... Adit..." Gesna patted Adit's body. The guy was cuddling in return. "Thirty minutes," he said.

Adit rubbed his eyes while yawning. Just like a newly woken toddler. His waking face was quite plain. Gesna sure if Adit was wearing a pajama suit, no one would believe that the guy had the title of Chief.

Adit sat while turning the body to the left and right as a stretch. The cigarette box between him and Gesna. Blank. "Lho, did the cigarette run out?"

Gesna scolded without sin.

"Lo suck all? There were ten sticks."

"No," refused Gesna. "Look at the wind can make the cigarette burn by itself."

Gesna raised his right hand. Shows how the embers work to burn cigarettes faster with the help of a gust of wind. "Look, deh. Funny, right? Why did I suddenly become interested in learning IPA?"

"Burning is not perfect. Class ten chemistry lesson," Adit interrupted while taking a cigarette that stayed half in Gesna's hands. The guy sucked once and exhaled smoke into the air. "The resulting compound is one of carbon monoxide. A gas that is odorless, tasteless and colorless but highly toxic."

"In addition, there is also nicotine and TAR. Nicotine is simultaneous and affects the brain. Because of nicotine, we can feel with smoking we can relax, the concentration of the substance. The scary TAR. He can stick it in the lungs. That's what makes cancer and his friends."

The guy must not realize that Gesna had gaping to hear the explanation just now. Adit's talking chemistry? Well, that was way beyond her expectations.

Adit then got up, stepped on the cigarette to death. "Yep, cabs."

The Adit motor again runs at a temperature that feels frozen. The road to Jakarta is never empty.

"Dit," call Gesna. He felt sleepy from the silence.

Adit muttered while stretching the helmet glass so that he could hear Gesna.

"If you know cigarettes are dangerous. Why are you still smoking?"

Adit smile. "Still mending me smoking and know the danger. Lo how? You smoke and do not know the content in cigarettes."

"Ih, you demen are so flipping through the speech?"

"Let's fast mateng," Adit replied laughing. "Sate times flipped so fast mateng."

The shadow of a plate of satay doused with herbs and sprinkled with fried onions instantly flashed across Gesna's head. The girl pinched Adit's waist. "Lo say-say satay. I'll be a laper, a spy. Later when I meet the satayman, stop, Dit."

"Don't satay, my brothers are also buying."

Adit's helmet hit Gesna from behind. "What year's birth, anyway? Gombalan lo crisp, you know lo?" hisses chuckled.

"It's important that Adek laugh, you're happy."

"Snurvy!" Gesna's hand is shaking Adit's helmet.

"Ges," called Adit while looking a little. Gesna raised her head to hear Adit's words. "Helm I'm a good helmet, so you getok kayak that's not gonna make it."

Gesna snorted not accepted. Why the hell would he have to deal with Adit's helmet again? "Yes, yeah. Lo helmet, nice helmet. Lo doang ugly and perverted."

Gesna pointed at a wagon that was on the side of the road. "Eh, that's the satay man. Stop, Dit."

Without mengubris order, Adit still run the motor. Gesna patted Adit on the shoulder. "Dit, stop. Satenya is too late."

"Biarin. I'm ugly and perverted."

Gesna's laughter escaped until the vapors came out of his mouth. "Idih, ambekan lo kayak boy. Dit, I'm hungry, peek." The girl started whining. "Gue says Bang Gustav later you won't tell me to eat."

"Udah mukul, mocked, threatened anyway. Quick to die like someone near you, Ges."

Gesna laughed again with the roaring motorbike. The girl hit Adit on the back. As soon as he finds another row of carts, he tugs Adit's jacket, forcing Adit to stop.

This time upside down, it was Gesna who dragged Adit into a tent stall on the side of the road. That girl even has a waist. "I make sure I eat. Let's not die soon."

Gesna then talked to the satayman. "Mang, the satellite's two yes."

"The season is one or separate?" ask the seller sate.

"Onein. Don't be separated, don't miss anymore" Adit said.

Gesna. His hand reflexively went up, about to hit Adit again. However, Adit was quickly arrested. "Gue told Bang Gustav later that you just thumped me."

Gesna. The focus is on satay sellers who are busy fanning the meat.

"Lo know, why is the charcoal fanned?" Adit nudged Gesna's arm after sipping the available warm sweet tea.

"Isn't meat fanned?" Look at the confused Gesna.

"The signal" said Adit, pointing at the smoldering black chunks.

Gesna seemed to think a little. Adit turned out to be smart. He does not want answers that do not make sense. Embarrassing yourself for his name. "Let's get hot fast?"

Adit nodded. Gesna breathed a sigh of relief meaning her answer just now was appropriate.

"When, if you want to get hot quickly what is fanned? Try to say it," muttered Adit kalem.

Unable to hit because his hand was held by Adit, Gesna's leg kicked Adit's leg. "Loves."

"Buck, Jessica! Hungry fierce, not full of grin."

Gesna's eyes glared. He began to release Adit's grip on the arm. "Don't call me by that name!"

Adit flaunting teeth. In a bit, he found out about Gesna. All of this took place in just tens of hours. "Why are you called Jessica?"

Two plates of satay came to their table. Gesna immediately plucked hers without excuse. "That's my first name."

"Front name?" Adit pulled the satellite dish, biting one stick. "Isn't that lo Gesna?"

"There's Jessica in front, but I only wear it in absentia."

Adit nodded. Every student must use a name bet and all he ever saw the name Gesna is Gesna Vinanda. "So, your name is Jessica Gesna Vinanda?"

Gesna's eyebrows spawk a little, a harbinger of reproduction. "But in my absence I was brief J doang. J. Vinanda Gesna. Not many know what J stands for."

Adit's lips are flattering. "Why not use Jessica? Good to know."

"No, ah. Everyone's gonna be afraid I'm sprinkling cyanide."

Adit chuckled until he choked. "Gue stay young near you."

Unbelieving by Adit's words, Gesna's lips pout.

"But it can be a sudden hanger attack as well, especially if your hands move. Not the prediction. Could suddenly slam a glass, suddenly slam a vase, suddenly hit it."

"Kan, I guess. You can't possibly praise me." Gesna hit Adit's arm. It was strong enough that the warm tea the guy was holding was spilled into his pants.

"Ups! Sori, unintentionally," Gesna's pretext scowled.

Adit patted his wet pants. Gesna's eyes glanced over from the corner of the eye. Spill a drink, done.
