The dawn prayer of the Mosques around Panti was already reverberating, accompanying myself who was still lying on my bed with eyes that could not be closed properly. I sat on the edge of my bed, looking at an envelope on my desk with a sad look. I took my phone next to my pillow in hopes of a message or a phone call from her. Dave.
I decided to go out of the room and see my sisters at the Panti who were getting ready for school. I am indeed the oldest living in Panti, actually there used to be some family who wanted to adopt me, but I do not want because I feel sorry to see Mother Aisyah who takes care of the Panti alone, but I do not want to, so I took the initiative to stay at Panti to help Aisyah's mother take care of my sisters in Panti.
“Sarah's sister is not going to school?” Tanya Andi one of my sisters in Panti. “No Deck, Sister is not feeling well, so permission to go to school first.” I sat in front of him, tidied up the school uniform he had used and combed his hair. “Serah's sister is sick?” He put the back of his hand on my forehead. “Sarah's sister is not pa-pa.” I pulled his hand from my forehead. “You've had breakfast?” I continued to ask all of my Pant brothers who numbered as many as eight people. “Not Kak.” Answer them simultaneously.
“Ya you are ready first yes, later Brother call if already ready for breakfast.” They all nodded, after which I stepped my feet towards the kitchen and saw Mother Aisyah who was busy with a cauldron containing fried rice that was being fried. “Bu, here is Sarah who cooked Bu.” I've been standing next to Mother Aisyah and helping her prepare breakfast. “You're not in school, son?” Ask Mother Aisyah after she gave the spatula of the skillet she had in her hand to me. “Sarah permission first yes Bu today.” My words did not dare to look at Mother Aisyah who was behind me.
“Iya no pa-pa.” After that, Aisyah and I were busy taking care of my sisters' readiness to go to school and have their breakfast. After all my sisters went to school, I cleaned my body, cleaned the Panti and helped Mother Aisyah sell rice sitting in front of the Panti Kiosk. I busied myself with these things, in order to distract myself and my thoughts would be Dave. “You why Nak?” Ask Aisyah's Mother
“Eh no pa-pa Bu.” I flinched from my daydream after I finished helping Mother Aisyah at her sit-down rice kiosk where the day had shown at two noon. “Ehmm Bu.” I hesitated to Mother Aisyah. “Iya Nak, why?” Ask Aisyah's Mother. “Sarah can leave for a while Mom, go to Dave.” House Aisyah's mother stopped her activity that was drying dishes that I had washed. “You want to say something more to where he is Nak.” Ask Mother Aisyah who is now sitting in front of me. “Sarah wants to leave a letter for Dave, Bu.” I bowed down not daring to look at Mother Aisyah, and I would be ready as well if Mother Aisyah would not allow me for fear of my condition later.
“Ya no pa-pa, you be careful later yes, if there is anything you directly contact Ibu.” Say Mother Aisyah. “Iya Ma'am, thanks.” I hugged her warmly to the woman who loved me as much as her own child. After that I was getting ready to leave a letter that I would give to Dave, as I waited for the transportation or taxi that passed in front of the Panti Street Gang, and then I got to leave it, suddenly a white luxury car stopped right in front of me. The car glass was open and showed the figure of the man who yesterday accompanied me when I was sad. Indra.
“Where are you going?” Still talking to the point without any pleasantries first. “Ehmm me.” I hesitated to tell him where I was going. “Log in, I inter.” He opened the passenger car door, so I was forced to get into the car. In the car I didn't talk much, just quietly staring out the car window. “Where are our destinations?” Ask Indra who is still looking towards the road. “Ehmm to Home Dave Kak.” Saying slowly. “Oke.” That's what I like about Indra, he never asks for details, because he knows when someone wants to tell when someone won't tell a story.
After an hour of driving in the car with a quiet atmosphere, where only two radio announcers heard chattering from Indra's car, we finally arrived in front of Dave's House Gate. “Kak Indra wait here ya.” My speech. “Iya.” I took off my seat belt and opened the car door. When I was in front of Dave's Gate, I breathed heavily. Don't cry Sarah, don't cry.
“I only run the command.” Further again. “Gak pa-pa Sir, I understand, I was also wrong yesterday because it was too pushy.” I said with a smile. “Thank you Ma'am, then I went inside first call Bi Iyemnya, Ma'am Sarah wait here first ya.” I nodded, after which Mr. Aryo went inside again to call Bi Iyem. Don't cry Sarah, hold your tears.
Not long after, the middle-aged woman I had been waiting for had finally arrived. “Bi Iyem.” I hugged him tightly. “Non Sarah, Non okay?” Bi Iyem. “Sarah is fine Bi.” I let go of my arms with the tears already in my eyes. Bi Iyem just smiled at me. “Bi Iyem, Sarah wants this nitip.” I took out a letter from my bag. “Sarah, title this to Dave ya Bi.” I tried to smile by holding back my tears that were about to fall.
“Iya Non, will Bi Iyem love directly to Aden Dave.” Bi Iyem took the letter I gave him. “Thank you Bi, Bi Iyem when to return to Australia?” I asked to shift my mind. “Tomorrow Non, after all the affairs in this House are finished.” Bi Iyem. “Bi Iyem be careful yes tomorrow, hopefully later we can meet again ya Bi.” I said and immediately hugged Bi Iyem tightly with my sad feelings.
“Iya Non, Non Sarah also take good care of ya.” Bi Iyem said by stroking my back gently. After that I let Bi Iyem farewell and get back in Indra's car. “Sorry Yes Old sister.” I said after being in the car and using my seat belt. “No pa-pa, where are you going?” Ask Indra. “Kak Indra want to anterin me to a place Kak?” Ask doubt. “Oke.” Reply Indra with confidence. After that the car walked again leaving behind my fond memories and the house I used to visit for the past six months.
