6. First Quest

Ryzen had arrived at the field, a place filled with green plains as far as the eye could see, a clear sky and a bright shining sun, as well as carrying a cool breeze on that vast plain, Greenfield.

Greenfield is filled with low-level mob monsters, but that doesn't mean the place is only inhabited by monsters. There are also low-level materials to make something or called by the term produce, such as medicinal plants, rocks, and others obtained from the item drop a monster.

Greenfield is also a suitable place for players who are just starting to play and have low-level characters, to do farm exp—, which is the job of killing monsters to level up to a certain point. Unfortunately, Ryzen's goal was not to hunt monsters, but to run his quest, which was to collect Medicine Herbs and Normal Stones.

Ryzen was in a vast area where there were countless Medicine Herbs growing, and gathered within one place like an ocean.

"Crazy! That's plenty!" ryzen shouted in surprise.

Ryzen was surprised to see a sea of clover-shaped plants that had four leaves, which were a bit whitish green. He scratched his head, as he walked among the plants.

"All of these are Medicine Herbs, I don't believe there are so many of them, moreover these are all in the same place" Ryzen said.

Ryzen analyzed the area, even had time to check the description of the plant which was all Medicine Herb. He stopped stepping, then began to stretch his hands and feet while looking around him.

"I don't know if I'll hold on until I pull out 50."

Ryzen began to pluck the plants one by one, each time he picked up the plant, he put it directly into his inventory panel that floated next to him. If viewed from another person's point of view, every time he put the Medicine Herb into the inventory along with his hands, it would seem like it had disappeared.

30 minutes passed, Ryzen had already collected the Medicine Herb more than Laiten had requested. Instead, he was now sprawled among the plants.

"My stamina is up" Ryzen said slowly.

"{You're running out of stamina!}", "{Get paralyzed status for three minutes!}"

"I didn't expect it to be like this if my stamina ran out.., it's not so bad."

Ryzen enjoyed his three-minute break, while looking at the blue sky. However, before long, a black shadow covered his gaze and made the blue sky no longer blue in his eyes.

"Hey, whoever it is, can you step aside? because of your shadow, the blue sky is gone," Ryzen's clumsy pinta.

However, no one responded to his request. Ryzen turned his head upwards, trying to see the figure of the person standing behind him. When he managed to find it, it turned out that the one behind him was neither a player nor an NPC, but a hairy forest babi, on top of which floated a red mark with the number 5.

"Wait, what?"

Their gazes meet each other, which makes Ryzen shocked and panicked. After thinking about it, the shadow that blocked him was indeed not similar to the shadow from humans.

The big hairy beast snorted, from its nostrils came out white smoke. The forest b-bi moved to change the direction of its position, it was pointing towards Ryzen who was sprawling.

"Tu-wait a minute! I just played this game!" chirping Ryzen.

Ryzen tried hard to negotiate with the level 5 forest bbi, but it was an original and strange act to do so, even more so to negotiate with a ba-bi who is part of a mob monster.

Ignoring the sprawling human staring at him, the forest-bi prepared to attack or rather gore at him with a pair of dashing white tusks.

Ryzen closed his eyes, he had already given up on negotiating with a forest babi who did not understand his words. But then, he heard a voice that saved him.

"{Your stamina has recovered!}"

A sound of the system told him that his stamina had been replenished, and that meant that 3 minutes had passed and he had regained his body. As soon as the voice reached his ears, Ryzen rolled to the side quickly, just before the forest bbi's attack hit him.

"Waha! Nice timing!" ryzen said as he clenched his hand.

Even though he was able to dodge the attack, then what would he do next?

Seeing that the ba-bi looked alert, Ryzen glanced to his left and right, standing upright and as if looking down on the forest's ba-bi. His smile turned cynical, making the forest's ba-bi more alert.

"God!"

Ryzen immediately ran quickly eastward, it was the direction towards the city. Surprised to see his opponent suddenly run like a mouse being chased by a cat, the forest pig snorted until it grazed the smoke from its nose and chased Ryzen.

"Uwahhhhhh!! that wild, hairy animal kept chasing me!"

While they were playing a chase like a scene of an Indian drama, an arrow flew rapidly almost to Ryzen, he reflexively dodged the arrow and in the end it hit the forest bbi who was chasing him, right in his head.

Not long after the forest bbi was pierced by an arrow that stuck deep in his head, the body of the ba-bi shone and shattered into pieces of blue polygon accompanied by the sound of a broken glass.

"Eh?"

Ryzen looked towards the b-bi disappearing, then turned his gaze forward. Far in front of him, the figure of a person carrying a long arrow along with a bag containing many arrows was running towards him.

"A Archer, is it?" Ryzen Gumam.

Then, a voice resuscitated him.

"You okay?"

The voice came from the person armed with the arrow earlier, after their distance was quite close. Ryzen can clearly see the appearance of the person. A person who had a green cursor floated on his head, with the appearance of a female genderless man with short purple hair, yet had long side hair. The iris was blue like the sky he had seen before, and the look on the player's face looked like someone who had a cold personality and was always vigilant.

"I'm fine, as you can see...." Ryzen moved his entire body to show a testimony, "By the way, thanks for the help."

"No problem. After all, my original intention was not to help," said the player, he walked past Ryzen to retrieve the forest's ba-bi drop item.

Ryzen turned around and saw the player's weapon leaned against his back with his arrow pocket.

"You're an Archer?" ask Ryzen.

The player finishes picking up the drop item in question, then stands up and turns to look at Ryzen.

"No, I'm a thief. My level is still low to reach the class you are referring to." said the player.

The Thief-class player is seen sliding and pressing empty air, as Ryzen is about to ask again. The player suddenly goes to the north, where the forest is located.

"I'm sorry, I have to go."

Ryzen who happened to be going into the forest to collect Normal Stone, exclaimed at the player.

"You're going towards the forest, right? can I come with you?" ryzen exclaimed as he dashed towards the north as well, catching up with him.

"Of course, but I won't protect you" the player said.

"Thank you!" ryzen reply.

The two of them finally went to the forest together. Ryzen who was looking at the player from behind, felt astonished at him.

'He used an arrow in a game like this, isn't that great?' inner Ryzen.

Ryzen could only continue to smile thinking about it.
