"YES! Level 15!"
Ryzen clenched his hands while harboring the pleasure behind it, he closed all the panels and got a notification informing him that he could already take his class.
Class here means the role or type of skill of a player, almost in every RPG game, which has become a common class is Warrior, Archer, Mage, and Support. Fantasy Star Online also still brings four of these common Classes into their vast Class system. For now, the classes that players already knew were Level one and two classes only, for the third one there was still not a single player who got it.
"Hmm, hmm, what class did I take...?" Ryzen Gumam.
"Don!!!" screams Laiten's voice from a distance.
Ryzen was stunned and his body shuddered, then he turned back and saw a female player in armor and orange-haired running towards him.
"Oh, Laiten," Ryzen said as the player got in front of him and was panting.
Laiten adjusted her breathing after running like that, a few seconds later, she took a deep breath and exhaled. Laiten raised her face and looked at Ryzen with a amazed face and starry pupils.
"W-what the fuck?!! drill typhoon?! I've never seen anything like it!! Hey, quick tell me, what was that?!"
"I don't know, though" Ryzen said, shaking his head.
Laiten immediately pouted and pinched Ryzen loudly.
"Aww, ow! okay, fine, I'll tell you!" ryzen shouted in a groan.
Before taking it off, Laiten pinched harder until Ryzen's skin red—alau not completely so, because in the game—lalu Laiten sighed and walked over to pick up an object she threw earlier.
Ryzen looked at the scar and said, 'Why does it hurt? this is not just a game..., my HP is also reduced by four points?!'
Then he approached Laiten who was examining a ball-shaped object and it looked like it was coated with steel metal, which contained a red button between them. If seen again, it is similar to a shock bomb that is able to emit electricity, such as those in movies and games that are set in a world with advanced technology, but life is very chaotic.
"What's that?" ask Ryzen.
"This? it's called the Ball Skill Record. With this item, one could create their own skill, then afterwards, this item would record and save all the movements and determine the requirements for the skill that had just been created," laiten replied without turning to look at Ryzen, and continued to look at the ball enthusiastically.
"Heh, that means balls are expensive, dong?" ask Ryzen again.
Laiten kept the ball in her inventory and turned to look at Ryzen with a smile. He nodded and said, "Right! if it's not wrong, I bought it for seventy thousand rial."
"Seven?! oh-so then, ma'am-isn't that about seven hundred thousand rupiahs?!"
"Hmm, maybe? I don't know about that?" Laiten plainly said that.
"You don't know? that's really bad."
Ryzen shook his head many times, as if not understanding and not even wanting to understand what the female player before him was thinking.
"Oh yes! your level is fifteen, isn't it?" chirp Laiten.
"Then, we better get to Class Center! Come on!!" shouted Laiten while pulling Ryzen's hand.
"Woe, just relax...."
The two of them walked together back to the early city, along the way, they talked to each other to pass the time. Then, they arrived in front of the building that looked bigger and grander than other buildings around it, and the shape was similar to a stadium and emblazoned with a signboard made of gold, bearing the words 'Class Center'.
Upon entering the building, Ryzen suddenly felt a different mood change after passing through a door that bordered between the room inside the building and the street outside. The coolness in the room extinguishes its rage when outside.
The room had an area of about hundreds of meters that was semicircular, after observing the entire room, and, Ryzen can assume that there is still another room behind the luxurious door at the other end that is far in front of him. The door is flanked by two reception desk which is also semicircular, and beside the two tables there are stairs that lead to the next floor.
Laiten took Ryzen to one of the reception desks, and when she got there, a female NPC on duty greeted them, "Welcome to Class Center, how can I help you?"
"Ah, I want to register this person to take the exam" Laiten said on Ryzen's behalf.
The NPC glanced at Ryzen for a moment then back at his task, he took out a paper and ink pen and placed it on the table.
"I understand. But, earlier, I wanted to explain a few things first...."
Class, which means Class. And Center, which means Center, if combined it will be a Class Center or Class Center. That is to say, this Class Center is the center to conduct an exam or test in taking a Class of a character.
Class here is defined as the expertise or profession of a person. When they had it, no matter who it was, whether it was players or NPCs, it was likely that they would have to do something that suited their Class if they wanted to survive.
Classes in Fantasy Star Online are numerous and varied, ranging from the common to the unique though. Fighters, Shooters, Witches, Killers, then there are other classes that are not included in the fighting class but for the needs of life such as cooking will become a chef, then trading will become traders. Laiten himself chose to be Blacksmith, which is a Life Class, a profession as a weapon maker and others. For the unique category, which is fairly rare, it is very difficult to get it, even in this game, players with unique classes can still be counted with fingers.
The NPC advised Ryzen to take an easy Class like Swordsman— - a profession that fights using the sword— - but Ryzen rejected it outright.
"I want to take the exam for Spearsman" Ryzen said.
The NPC nodded and began writing down the registrant's personal data after interviewing him.
"Registration this time is on behalf of Ryzen, level fifteen and begging to do the exam for Spearsman. For those Class testers, please prepare for field B," the NPC said to a glowing orb placed on a red pad near the door on the other side of the table where Ryzen was standing.
A few minutes later, the NPC handed Ryzen a wooden badge engraved with a spear on its surface.
"You've been registered to do the exam. Bring the badge and give it to the examiner in B field," the NPC said.
"All right, thank you."
Laiten escorted Ryzen to her exam, on the B field, which was on the other side of the room where they were separated by a door and a red wall. The two of them went to the door, and when they entered it, they were in a hallway with a red carpet and hanging lights on, at first glance the place looks like a corridor passageway from a luxurious residence of the noble family that Ryzen often sees in the manga.
At the end of the hallway, there was another door; one was the door that was parallel to them, and the other was the door that was beside or attached to the wall near the door.
"Then, I'll go to the door over here" said Laiten pointing to the smaller door of the double door in front of them.
"OK, thank you, Laiten," Ryzen said.
Laiten then again scowled at Ryzen's words, so he did not open the door and looked at Ryzen with annoyance.
"I told you, right?!"
"Tell-say what??" Ryzen.
"Hmph, forget it."
Laiten threw her face away, then went to the small door after opening it, and closed it hard. Ryzen scratched his non-itchy cheek at the attitude of the orange-haired player.
"He's why the hell?"
Brushing aside his thoughts, Ryzen looked at the double door in front of him. He sighed, then pushed the door with both hands.
