Ryzen took turns looking at the female player then at the broken sword and the jagged blade in his hand. Wherever he moves his sword, the player's eyes follow him, like a pet playing with his toys. Then, Ryzen smirked, he walked over and opened the shop door.
"You want this?" ryzen said grinning.
"Y-yeah!" reply the player nodded a few times.
"Then.., catch!"
Ryzen threw the sword out, instantly, the female player reacted like a cat and started running after the thrown sword. Ryzen closed the door, then clapped his hand and went back to looking at the weapon.
"OK, uhh, this is good" Ryzen said as he inspected a long spear.
———
Steel Spear
Damage 17 ~ 21
Durability: 92/100
———
"The thing is, I don't know how to use it, it's not like the game I play on the keyboard."
"Although you've never used a spear before, if you have a class that matches the weapon, namely Spearsman or Explorer, you'll be able to use it magically" the voice said.
Ryzen turned around, and looked at the owner of the voice. A female player had orange hair, and had the same green eyes as her. Yes, it was the same player, who proudly declared himself a blacksmith.
"Well, but it would be even better if you do have experience with a spear or stick in the real world" continued the player.
"Like Weapon Proficiency, is it?" ask Ryzen.
"Yes, the more often you use a weapon to kill monsters, the character's skill to use the weapon will increase. Your real body experience will also count as a bonus value on your character, for example, if you train a long stick or spear game to a certain point, there will be a possibility that your character gets a unique skill," said the player, he looks like he is enjoying every point of his conversation.
"Ah, I understand, thank you!"
Ryzen nodded slowly, then put the spear back. The female player raised her eyebrows, and looked at the spear that had just been put back.
"Aren't you buying it?" ask the player.
"You have to use a spear to have an Explorer or Spearsman class, or you have real experience with this weapon, right?" Ryzen.
"True, why...?"
Ryzen responded with a faint smile. At first, the player was confused, but then he realized something.
"Ah, I understand. You're just starting this game and don't have a class" said the player, nodding his head.
"Bingo!" Ryzen formed a gun with his finger and pointed at the player.
The female player stroked her chin, looking like she was dissolving in her mind. Meanwhile, Ryzen continues the search for weapons for her. It had been about 5 minutes he was looking for a weapon, but there was nothing better than the spear earlier.
"Well, hey," call the player.
Ryzen immediately responded to the call and looked back, as she was the only person there that the female player could call. After their gaze met, Ryzen raised her eyebrows.
"Why?"
"How about this, I'll give you a sword for free. However, in exchange, can you gather the Medicine Herbs and Stones for me? fifty each." said the player.
"Where does his free will lie if I'm still required to work to get it?" chirping Ryzen.
"If you don't want to, you have to."
The player turned around, but Ryzen immediately grabbed his hand.
"Who said I didn't want to? I'll do it, just collect the items, right?"
The female player smiled, then turned back to look at Ryzen. He rubbed the empty air and looked like he was pressing something, moments later, a transparent panel appeared in Ryzen's view.
"{Laiten asks to add a friend.}"
The panel gave two options, "Yes" and "No", with the same caption as the system's voice said.
"To be easier to communicate, it's better to add friends first" said the player, who goes by the name Laiten.
Ryzen presses the "Yes" button, then the panel turns into a smaller panel, which reads, "You made friends with Laiten!", and Ryzen closes the panel.
Player's Quest is one of the features in Fantasy Star, with this feature, players can give or receive quests from other players. The requirement to provide quests to other players is; there must be a Quest Destination and Reward.
The quest format given by Laiten is as follows.
———
Quest: Laiten's Quest I
To: Laiten
Objective Quest: Gather 50 of Medicine Herb and Stone.
Medicine Herbs (0/50)
Stone (0/50)
Reward: Iron Sword +1
Accept quests? (Yes/No)
———
"This is a very interesting feature!" Ryzen.
"That's right! with this feature, there is no way there will be players who always beg" said Laiten.
Ryzen choked when Laiten said that, he cleared his throat then pressed the "Yes" button on the quest panel.
"{Quest accepted!}"
"Wait, where can I see the map, is there no map icon?" ask Ryzen.
Laiten tilted her head, as if not understanding the intent of Ryzen's question.
"Isn't it in the upper right of your vision?"
Ryzen immediately turned to the direction called Laiten, it was true, there was a triangle icon, but it was not a map. After doing that, Ryzen only realized that there was something like a colored bar in the upper left corner.
"I didn't find the map, it was just a triangle. But, it looks like I just found the HP and MP bars."
All Ryzen found was a red and blue bar. The red bar shows its HP (Hit Point), while the blue bar shows its MP (Mana Point).
HP works like a life in an RPG game, if your HP reaches the number 0, then your character will die. Whereas, MP serves to perform a skill or skill attack, each skill certainly requires a certain amount of MP to activate it, let alone skills that smell of magic.
"Ah, try saying the command line to open the map, you read the guidebook, right?" laiten.
"Oh, let me try. If it's not wrong...."
"[Command: Show Map!]"
After saying that, the triangle icon in his vision changed to a circular map icon that looked transparent. There is a blue cursor as the center of the map, and near the blue cursor, there is a green cursor.
"I saw it" Ryzen said.
"Mhmm, great." Laiten nodded slowly while closing her eyes.
"Now, press the coordinates I gave you, there will be a point that shows the place on your map" said Laiten, walking towards the cashier's desk with a broken sword.
Ryzen did as Laiten said, opened his chat panel with Laiten, then pressed the coordinates he gave. After pressing it, a red flag icon appeared on the edge of his map line.
"If you're done with the quest, just chat with me" said Laiten.
Laiten then left the shop with three broken swords. Ryzen really did not think what Laiten would do with the broken swords.
"Oh, maybe this quest ingredient is also related to what it does? maybe, he will fix the sword, but why, those three swords are not too good either" Ryzen muttered.
Ryzen does not buy a gun, and leaves the store. He looked in all directions, then sighed.
"[Command: Auto UI!]
It is a command that makes the UI (User Interface) or user interface, such as the icons in his view, disappear if not needed, and will appear if needed.
"This is better!"
Ryzen started walking, following the direction shown on the map.
