3. Creating Characters and Logins

Ryuei and Nina were in the hospital until the afternoon, after which, they returned home. Upon arriving at home, Ryuei immediately ran to check every corner of his house to find a surveillance camera installed. After 30 minutes of searching with the help of his sister, they managed to turn off and even destroy a small camera like marbles located in the corners of the room and well hidden.

The next day, Ryuei awakens when he is young and the sun has yet to reveal himself. He quietly went to the park by bicycle, arriving at the park, Ryuei started warming up before he started jogging. Unfortunately, for the first time, he was only able to do one lap because of his physique, Ryuei rested on a bench while drinking a can of cola he got from a drinking machine.

"I have to start training my body" Ryuei said.

An hour he had spent in the park jogging and training his body, he returned to his house before the clock pointed at the number 6. Ryuei also made sure that if his sister was still sleeping soundly in his room, not wanting to disturb his sister's sleep, he went to the kitchen and tried to cook himself. Well, for someone like him, it is certain that he can cook only instant noodles or omelet only.

Ryuei made two omelets to serve as breakfast, right after Ryuei finished cooking. Nina woke up and came out of her room, looking at the two servings of rice and eggs on the dining table, she immediately combed the room and saw her brother coming out of the kitchen while carrying two glasses of warm tea.

"What are you doing?" Nina looked at the plate on the dining table, "What sister cooked it?"

"Yes, eat it" Ryuei replied.

"O-okay, I want to wash my face and hands first" Nina said.

Nina goes to the bathroom located near the kitchen, while Ryuei sits at the dining table and begins to eat her dishes, which she makes for the first time. For this reason, Ryuei believes in the ability of cooking even though he never cooks though, because he often sees cooking shows on his monitor screen during the time of confinement.

Ryuei took the spoon and the edge of the egg into small pieces, then took it with a pile of rice and fed it into the mouth. It was the first taste he felt, a taste that was very different from the food he got every day from his sister, it was a heart-shaking taste as well as his sense of taste.

"Enak! I can't believe I can cook like this! Ahaha!"

Ryuei finished his breakfast in an instant, when Nina had just walked out of the bathroom, he saw her brother finished with his breakfast.

Ryuei's eyes were wide open when Nina did that, she recalled that when she was a child, she would often make pinkie promises with her sister whenever she promised. Ryuei smiled faintly then stretched out his little finger as well, and they hooked the two pinkies together and shook them.

Despite several times doing pinky promises with his sister, the sentence that is often spoken by his sister still makes him creepy.

'Why should you say it like that, ' Ryuei's inner self.

After promising, Nina started eating her breakfast. Then, some time later, their house bell rang, Ryuei went to take a look. After the door was opened, a courier carrying a cardboard box was standing in front of his house.

"Ah, are you the one named Ryuei?" ask the courier.

"Yes, I'm Ryuei, what's wrong?"

"There is a package for you" said the courier.

The courier gave the cardboard to Ryuei, then he took out a paper and***black points.

"Please sign here" said the courier, pointing to the paper.

"But I didn't order any packages" Ryuei said.

"I don't know either, but the sender said this package was for Ryuei. In addition, he also left a message—wait a minute."

The courier picked up an envelope from his small bag, which was held up, and gave it to Ryuei. Ryuei kept the cardboard on the floor first, then received the envelope and opened it. Inside was a piece of paper with writing that read like this.

Ryuei brought the package into his house.

"You want to too?" ryuei asked with a smile.

"W-what can?" reply Nina.

"Sure, I'll buy you."

"Well! Thank you, brother! Brother is indeed the best, even though your face is average!"

Those words pierced his heart, it hurt even more if it came out of his own sister's mouth compared to his girlfriend. But since Ryuei has no girlfriend, the word gives him double the damage, a crushing attack.

Ryuei was in his room, the room that used to be messy and dark, had now turned into a clean and bright room, all that was only caused by money! It is now proven that money can change a person's life!

Ryuei took the VR-Gear along with the other devices in the cardboard, then prepared everything according to the directions from the 'How To Install Gear' guidebook'. Once everything was ready, he picked up a VR-Gear that was shaped like a motorcycle helmet, but only covered the upper head area up to his eyes.

Ryuei sighed before putting on the VR-Gear, then he lay down on the bed after putting it on his head.

After a voice similar to that system sounded in his ear, suddenly his vision was filled with code and a rapidly moving database.

"{Account has been made. Welcome, VP17762! Please choose the world you want to play in.}"

"World, yeah. Maybe it means game? Ehh, how do I do it... Oh, I remember!"

"[Command: Fantasy Star.]"

Ryuei says a command sentence that corresponds to the guide he read about a command word or command word.

After that, his sight darkened. Then a speck of white light rose, and he found himself in a white room.

As the system says, the panel is a list panel to select a language that the sound system will use in Fantasy Star. For example, if you choose 'English' then the sound system will continue to use English. However, in this system, despite choosing a language other than 'English', the name of an item in Fantasy Star would still remain 'English'.

Ryuei shifted the list and stopped in alphabetical order 'B' and pressed the 'Indonesian' option'. Instantly, the language of the system and the sound used were instantly changed.

"{Welcome to Fantasy Star! Please to create a character!}"

After that, 7 figures appeared that each looked different. Those are figures that display 7 different races that are generally in RPG games, including; Humans, Elves, Were-being, and 4 other races there.

"{Please choose your race!}"

"[Command: Humans!]"

"I wouldn't risk choosing a race other than a human if the mechanics of the game were like moving in the real world. Because I'm used to being a human being too."

Yep, just imagine if you are used to moving as a human, and suddenly just turned into a dragon-like creature. Of course you will have trouble moving because basically humans and dragons are different, well the comparison is too far.

We just compare humans with elf—an iconic race of fantasy stories, have a beautiful and handsome face, and long pointed ears—both creatures are not much different, both have two hands, both have two hands, two legs, two ears, one head, and one nose. Although it looked the same, however, elves tended to have lighter body weight than humans, it explained why they were so agile in moving. And just as it has been said, if someone who is used to moving like a human, of course, it will be difficult to move as an elf who has a lighter body weight.

After Ryuei chose his race as a human, his originally transparent blue body now had a skin and the stature of a human, rather, he regained his body as well as his original appearance.

Although it seems eager to modify the appearance of his avatar, Ryuei turned out to only change the color of his hair and eyes. Having brownish messy hair, irises are green like grass, about 170 cm high with a face that looks completely different from the original face. "Haha, I almost forgot my real face, I feel insecure anyway, can't I change it even just a little?"

Then for the modification of these characters, players can not change their body shape, voice, and gender, for their faces can still set it themselves manually.

"Nina told me my face was below average because of my black eye bags and lethargic face. I've decided, I'll train my body and regain my original appearance."

A transparent panel that he often sees in RPG games when entering a character's name, appears in front of him. This time, not only did the panel appear, but there was also a transparent keyboard with it.

Ryuei typed in the name of the character he was going to use in Fantasy Star, after he finished, he pressed the 'Enter' button'.

"{'Ryzen', sure to use this name?}"

"[Command: Yes!]"

"{Character creation is done! Entering the Fantasy Star... Happy playing, Ryzen!}"

After the system's voice statement, the white room suddenly died like a television was turned off, Ryuei's body felt like it had fallen and he was unable to feel his body again. At the same time, his views were filled with code and databases that he did not understand, just like during the scanning process.
