Fantasy Star Online's
16. The Spider Dungeon III

It seemed that vigilance and other things Ryzen did not need, as there was not a single disturbance that prevented him as long as he was in the slums. Not felt, the dawn will sink into the earth and be replaced by the moon. The atmosphere in the slums was getting quieter and gripping, there were no lights illuminating the road like on the main street.

By the way, something has been bothering Ryzen for a long time, which is about the stars that continue to exist in the sky. He looked at the sky, finding a star that was now sparkling yellow, when it was blue this afternoon. He also did not even know why the star could continue to exist during the day and night.

"What is the purpose of the star being in the sky?"

Unlike the sun or the moon, the star, only one star remains there. During the day he saw the star in green, at night it became red, then when he fought with the Leader of Wild Boar in the afternoon, the star was blue.

"Hmm, I'll just ask Laiten later...."

Ryzen looked at his friend list, there was only one friend he had, and it was only Laiten. His name was written by writing in gray and looked dark.

"But he's not playing" Ryzen lamented and closed his friend list.

Ryzen recalled the auctioning of the skill record, but he immediately brushed it off and continued the search for the missing child hiding in the slums.

That night, not a single sound could be heard other than the sound of footsteps stepping on the wet ground. As the owl's voice suddenly rang out, Ryzen immediately got up and was startled, his feathers standing in the silent night wind, it was a very real feeling even though he was in the virtual world though.

"Goat, goat, deserted..," Ryzen muttered as he hugged himself.

Shortly afterwards, he saw a small child standing in the middle of the street highlighted by the only lighting in this quiet slum. Ryzen approached the child, when it was close enough, the boy raised his hand, pointed it forward hinting the person approaching him to stop.

"...?"

Seeing the sign, Ryzen stopped stepping.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" ask Ryzen.

"I'm the one who should ask you. What are you doing here?"

His hand signals changed, his finger formed a gun and he was styled as if he was shooting a bullet from his finger. A few seconds later, with the sound of footsteps approaching, Ryzen became alert and held a spear behind him.

"What does this mean?"

A group of people dressed in shabbiness and armed with axes and rusted swords emerged from behind the buildings and roofs of the buildings. Side, top, back, all exits are closed, Ryzen is unable to escape from there.

"Once again, I should have asked like that. What do you mean come here, what's your purpose?!" yelled the little boy.

"I'm looking for a missing child .. and you look like him. I thought the missing child was you, it wasn't, '" Ryzen explained.

Suddenly, the boy clucked in annoyance and stomped the ground. "Kill him!"

The boy orders the slums there to attack Ryzen, then he runs away from the place.

"Wait on! What means?!"

Ryzen who was about to chase him, had to be restrained there because the slums blocked his path.

The thought is then broken by the appearance of HP bars and levels above the heads of the slums who crowd it, you must already know what that means, yes, that means they are 'mob' like the monsters that roam all over the monsters area—area other than the city which is a safe area (safe area)—and it also means that these 'Slums' are monsters areas within the safe area, too, it is often referred to as the hidden area.

"They're mob? that means I can kill them and gain experience, but, their level is above mine" Ryzen muttered.

The slums were referred to as the mob, and were named as 'Slums [weapons they used]', for example the person carrying the axe was named 'Slums Axe' and the level was 18, for example, all of these cars are level 18, three levels higher than Ryzen.

"Fuu, what I'm afraid of, is only three levels different!" ryzen exclaimed, he lunged towards the group of Slums in front of him.

Just like when fighting the Wild Boars back then, his opening attack was a semicircular horizontal slash, yet now his range was wider. In one slash, the HP of the Slums was immediately left 65%.

Battle—more precisely the braking occurred for a few minutes, Ryzen managed to defeat 12 Slums and go up one level. There were only a few more Slums left, but since Ryzen's stamina was running out, he couldn't be rash otherwise his stamina would be empty and he couldn't move.

While the situation was in trouble, an arrow suddenly stuck in the head of one of the Slums and killed him into a fragment of polygon. Ryzen looked at the direction where the arrow was coming from, and saw a cloaked figure preparing to shoot an arrow over the building behind him.

Woosh! Crtts!

The arrows were again stuck right in Slums' head and killed him, the remaining Slums then turned their attention to the archer, likely because of the 'aggro' the archer had made. Surely, Ryzen would not allow the mysterious archer's kindness to be avenged tuba, with a quick stab, he killed the three Slums left from behind.

"Well, thankfully."

Ryzen heaved a sigh of relief, as he looked towards the place where the mysterious archer had been, that person was no longer there. Then, with the sound of footsteps approaching, Ryzen raised his weapon and pointed it towards the direction the voice came from.

"I'm not your enemy" said the voice.

The voice sounded familiar to Ryzen's ears, and it was true that the owner of the voice was a female player who had helped him.

"If it's not wrong, your name is Moon, right?" Ryzen.

Moon is seen nodding softly behind the hood of his robe, when he is close to Ryzen, he opens his hood and shows his beautiful face, out of nowhere and how suddenly the moonlight shines, it's like the appearance of the main character in the movies.

"What is this, are you using special effects?" ask Ryzen.

"???" Moon tilted his head.

"Forget over. But, what are you doing here?" ask Ryzen again.

"Oh, I'm running a quest to find a missing child, what about you?"

"Sama, I was also running that quest, but all of a sudden...."

"What's wrong?"

Ryzen looked at the transparent panel that suddenly appeared, telling him something shocking.

"I'm getting a hidden quest."
