Ammar sat in front of his laptop, his mouth was struggling to read the morning remembrance while looking at his laptop, correcting the material he would convey later.
Today is Sunday, the day he had to fill the seminar of new students at the State Islamic University Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Araca's roommate's reunion in the pesantren was also held on this day, precisely after the magrib. He must prepare the material at once the body to be ready to face these two events, especially the place is a bit far apart.
Time shows at seven in the morning. Azmy fell asleep after staying up last night until dawn. Dad was washing his sedan in the yard, and Mom was cooking in the kitchen. Ammar stepped into the bathroom to get ready.
“Mas, later study in the next village?” Azmy asked with eyes still somewhat bristling.
“Search where?”
“In the next village mosque.”
“That cross that highway?”
“Iya..”
“Neither way, go to Surabaya first.”
Ammar has been dressed neatly and ready to go to UIN Surabaya. He said goodbye to father and mother, not to forget Azmy.
Four years later, he arrived at the University. Near the gate there was already someone welcoming him.
“Cepet really coming, tumben not late.” Her speech.
“The road is not jammed anyway. Didn't meet the police who were looking for breakfast rations either.”
“Hahahah... Can only you.”.
Jho, one of his underclassmen while still studying at UIN Surabaya was one of several students who often invited Ammar to discuss philosophical issues and other matters related to religion. The two of them entered a building close to the back gate. Jho showed Ammar the room he would use to describe several sentences, it was still cleaned by the committee. Jho took her around outside the campus.
“You remember Alfan?”
“Which likes to shave that hair?”
“Iya..”
“Liat it, Mar. That's his barbershop.” Jho pointed to one of the barbershop across the back road of UIN Surabaya.
“It's also nice to see happy friends.”
“Her employees are also many kok.”
“Great dia.”
“Which is even greater is its nature that is still as generous as it used to be. Rarely successful people who still remember old friends.”
“Come there, Jho.”
“Ntar, the seminar is about to start this.”
“Let aja wes..”
They both returned to campus. The seminar room was filled with students. They sat neatly like watching a football match in the stands. This seminar is general and does not cost a penny. Actually, the seminar is not official because the presented are not famous big people, but young people who excel. This seminar will discuss prayer from a health perspective.
Ammar and Jho stepped towards the seat that was in front. There sat a woman in the same maroon dress and veil. Ammar was shocked, on his desk there was already his notebook left on the train. This is his third meeting with Icha. An unexpected meeting.
“The speaker turned out to be young.”
“Flat, yes.”
“Wah, the speaker can tuh.”
The whispers of the seminar participants were heard to the ears of Ammar. He doesn't care what they say. He considered the speech was addressed to Jho who had a face like a Korean with his narrow eyes. It seems that he was not aware that anyone was jealous to hear the words of the seminar participants. Icha cheeks flushed.
Is this what we call love?
Jho as moderator opened the seminar. First, he introduced the two speakers first. Icha as the first speaker is a doctor graduated from UIN Jakarta who will continue his education by taking specialist knowledge of internal medicine. Ammar as the second speaker is a famous speaker who hobbies to visit historical sites.
