Eternal Promises
Chapter 5
10:00 in the morning.
After being ready to clean up, Asmira lay down her body for a while in the television room. He closed his eyes. It felt, his body was very tired, for some reason lately, he was easily tired.
“My waist hurts so much.”
Asmira took off her hair bun she let loose. He put his head on the couch. Not long after that he fell asleep because he was too weak and tired.
Just 15 minutes into Asmira's sleep, the sound of her phone ringing makes Asmira wake up from her sleep. At first glance he lyrics the screen before he lifted.
“Who yes, unknown number.”
After ringing 2 times, Asmira finally answered the call.
“Halo, good morning,” greet Asmira.
“Halo, with Lady Asmira Lestari?”
“Ya, with my own.”
“Sorry to interrupt your time. We want to get Evano to fight with his classmates. Can you come here soon?”
Asmira was shocked to hear it. “Someone got hurt, ma'am? I'm going there right away.”
“No Ma'am, we wait soon.”
After closing the call, Asmira immediately changed clothes and rushed off to Evano's school. On the way Asmira tried to contact Darwin but was not connected.
Asmira left one voice message, the only time Darwin was in a meeting with his client.
“Mas, I'm heading to Vano school. She fights with her classmates.”
Not long after, Asmira arrives at Evano's school. Asmira headed straight for the principal's room.
Arriving there, Evano casually sat in the corner of the room with his arms crossed over his chest.
“Excuse me,” greet Asmira.
“Please enter,” pinta the principal.
Asmira stared intently at Evano, but Vano cast his gaze upwards.
Asmira shakes hands with the parents of the student who fought with Evano. The mother's face looked cynical towards Asmira, but Asmira ignored her.
“Process now, Sir. I am asking for compensation, I do not accept my son in giniin,” said the mother looked at Asmira at a glance.
“Good, Mom. Patience first yes, we ask the chronology first like what.” The headmaster called the teacher who was teaching the time of the incident.
“Good Bu Nina, please tell me what caused the two to fight,” pinta the principal.
Bu Nina explained that while she was in the process of teaching and learning, Evano was sitting in the front row, while the other student was behind her.
“I don't know what happened, suddenly Egi was crying very hard.” Bu Nina smiled kindly at Asmira finished her story.
“Sorry, Sir. That's just how I told you.”
The headmaster nodded at Bu Nina's defense. He woke up from his seat then he approached Evano who was still silent in the corner of the room.
“Hai young man,” greet the headmaster, he gently swiped the head of Evano.
“Young people must dare to take responsibility, every mistake must dare to apologize and make up for each other.” The principal knows how to fish Evano's remarks.
“I'm not wrong, I don't want to apologize.” Evano turned his lips back.
“Vano ..” Asmira pursed both of her lips.
The headmaster hinted at silence on Asmira. He waited for Vano to resume his words.
“He started first, he doodled my clothes. When I woke up, I wanted to say not to cross my clothes. Suddenly he was crying out of fear,” Evano said. He showed off his clothes that were crossed out by his classmate Egi.
Hearing Evano's story, Egi again cried, he hid behind his mother whose face was very scary.
The headmaster rubbed the head of Evano. “Alright Mom, I think this trivial problem we just solve. His name is also children, no one was injured either, physically or mentally, right?”
Feeling annoyed, Egi's mother held Egi in her arms and immediately walked out of the room.
The headmaster apologized to Asmira for having troubled him with the small matter.
“Nothing, Sir. I was just happy to know how Evano developed in school. Then I'm sorry.”
Asmira invites Evano home, without much talking Asmira steps out in following Evano behind her.
Arriving in front of the gate, Darwin's car stops right in front of Vano and Asmira. He immediately went down to meet the two of them. Darwin smiled at the sight of mother and child in silence.
“Sorry baby, I had another meeting,” Darwin told Asmira.
But without understanding Darwin's words, Asmira immediately entered the car.
“What's really going on, baby?” ask Darwin to Vano.
Before the story, Evano briefly glanced at Asmira.
“Friend me he scribbled my clothes Pi, I'm upset. Mom is tired of her grandson. Especially now that Mami is often sickly.” Slowly tears fell on her cheeks.
Asmira was full of words coming out of her son's mouth. Asmira regretted that she was angry before hearing Evano's words.
Darwin ruffled Vano's hair. Asmira immediately hugged the child just like that.
“Sorry in Mami,” says Asmira.
