Revision paper, Ch 26

Today Nico went to Melisa's company and brought her lunch. Nico has also confirmed that Melisa hasn't eaten yet, so she brings her cooking food for Melisa's lunch.

Nico was currently waiting in the lobby of the first floor. Sit on the couch and wait quietly. Nico silently observed the magnificent interior of the building. This was the first time she had come to Melisa's office and was a little curious. From the looks of it, the interior design of this company looks very simple but also has an aura. The staff who came and went in formal attire also looked cultured and tidy.

It's just that Nico doesn't know that he's been talked about in the office group. A lot of speculation and some people deliberately pass by just to see it. But for sure many are happily gossiping that their boss could finally fall in love.

The girl at the front desk also glanced at Nico and noticed the boy's appearance. Nico is currently wearing a casual sports jacket without a brand and black jeans. He looks like a young student who doesn't fit into the company's atmosphere. With the stock box in his hand, it looked very striking.

The girl at the front desk knew that Nico was waiting for the secretary who would pick her up. Seeing the nervous man, he also secretly posted in the office group about the situation.

Shortly thereafter, the Secretary arrives and delivers Nico to Melisa's room upstairs.

Facing the door in front of him, Nico who had steeled his heart became nervous. Opening the door, she could see Melisa was reprimanding the two employees firmly.

Nico was stunned for a moment at the door. This is the first time Nico has seen Melisa's work. Her appearance when she was with him was too different from Melisa's at the moment. At work, Melisa looks serious and meticulous. When facing the wrong subordinate, he put on a face without a smile. The aura he exuded was extremely powerful and even up to a frightening point.

The two middle-aged employees who looked like managers continued to nod and listen to Melisa's words calmly. They know that everything their boss says is useful. So they can only endure fear and stay there for reprimand.

Melisa asked the question that the two men meticulously answered. Hearing her, Melisa furrowed her brows, but she did not want to humiliate the two and let go of them for a while.

Seeing Nico at the door, Melisa immediately called the man to sit on the sofa. Melisa straightened her back and a smile slowly appeared on her face. "Why bother to bring food?"

Calming himself, Nico smiled again and sat down on the sofa. His hands did not stop to arrange the food on the table, waiting for him to come closer and eat together. "I was cooking earlier and saw you haven't eaten. So, just take it to eat together."

The secretary brought out the two employees and closed the door lightly. He came out quick to immediately go from being a mosquito repellent here.

"Hmmm..." Melisa smiled and walked over to sit next to Nico. He never knew that Nico could cook. But given all his past, he knew that it had become an instinct.

Cooking alone had been ingrained in his mind long ago, as Nico would not be able to eat if not cook by himself. In the Helingga family home as well as in the orphanage, if he did not eat on time, he would not be able to eat.

Staring at Nico's busy hand, he could hold it and said, "Let it go, I can take it myself. You're the one who should eat right away, don't set the side dish or something."

"Yes." Yeah." Smiling, Nico could feel Melisa's concern for him. He's happy because of that.

Eat slowly and calmly, the warm atmosphere feels flowing in the air. The food soon ran out and Melisa also put her spoon and box to the table. Waiting for Nico to finish her meal, Melisa would wash it all away.

Nico who knew her thoughts immediately pushed Melisa towards her desk and said, "I'll wash it myself, you can work quietly and don't care."

Listening to her stern voice, she smiled and nodded, "Alright."

After tidying up his lunchbox and heading out to the wash, Nico paused for a bit and hesitated to speak.

Melisa who saw him asked, "What do you want to say? just say it boldly, don't hesitate."

Melisa tilted her head with a smile on the corner of her lips, "Of course. I'm not gonna kick you out on purpose."

"Thank you," With that light word, Nico left the room to wash the lunchbox.

Melisa shook her head slowly and continued her work quietly.

Before long, he could hear the door open and close lightly as if afraid to disturb him. Glancing around for a moment, Melisa could see Nico sitting on the sofa in control.

Moments later, she heard a rustling sound from the friction between the shirt and the sofa. Looking up from her work, Melisa saw Nico had closed her eyes to fall asleep.

Due to his previously seated posture, his head and body were now slightly inclined and uncomfortable. He will squirm and look for the most comfortable position. But he couldn't find it, and kept moving.

Melisa saw that and immediately stood towards the room beside her study. Melisa picks up the blanket on the closet and takes it to Nico.

He slowly sank Nico before enveloping the man. Seeing her smile comfortably, Melisa immediately returned to her desk to continue working.

Nico who felt asleep for a long time woke up and felt dazed. Feeling the warm blanket on his body and the room lights were slightly dim, Nico immediately knew that it was Melisa's treatment for him who was sleeping.

Listening to the sound of the keyboard echoing in the room and seeing the dim light in the room, Nico felt depressed. "Why don't you just turn on the lights. Your eyes will hurt like this."

Nico stood up quickly, looking for the light switch of the room. Looking at the starry sky outside the window, Nico complained to himself for sleeping like a pig. "It's late, wake me up."

"It's okay." Answering lightly, Melisa saw Nico looking for the switch and pointed at the side wall of the bookcase. "The switch is there."

Gazing at the direction pointed, Nico immediately turned on the lights of the room. With a light click, the lights immediately lit up like daylight. The newly awakened Nico narrowed her eyes to adapt to the light.

After, turn it on. He sat back down and saw Melisa working. "Come, I'll be waiting for you. I'm not going to sleep anymore."

Seeing Nico's messy hair and the suspicious trail at the corner of her lips, Melisa immediately instructed, "It's okay, I'll be done soon. You can wash your face in the bathroom quickly."

So, Nico who was aware of what Melisa said was immediately embarrassed and rushed to the bathroom to wash her face. She also brushed her hair quickly.

As Melisa said, she immediately finished her work and went home with Nico. Nico doesn't have to wait long and gets bored.

Even after this day, Nico was determined in his heart that he would often deliver food to Melisa.
