Revision paper, Ch 16

These few weeks when Ray came home he always saw Nico at home. So too this week. Surely Nico doesn't live in a dorm like he does.

After entering the door and seeing Nico, he only caught a glimpse and went upstairs to wait for his mother. He turned on his smartphone and played a game to wait.

Nico himself actually felt uncomfortable in this house. He'll try to get home as late as possible. But since this time she had no reason to come out, she was afraid if Melisa asked later.

He himself has no friends. So, she couldn't possibly lie she went with a friend. When he passed Ray earlier, he felt Ray did not like him. So he was more agitated because of it.

Outside, the sky is dark. The night came quickly and the hour passed. Melisa who is on the road is also tired at this time. Today's work makes him dizzy and a problem in the office as well. He wanted to rest at home soon.

Arriving at home he sees Ray coming down the stairs with an upset and angry face. Confused Melisa asked. "What's Ray?"

"It's okay." Ray walks into the dining room and ignores the melisa.

"Ray is there something at school? why are you angry?" Melisa approaches Ray and rubs over her head.

"No." Ray brushed off Melisa's hand that was on her head. She felt Melisa had been very kind to the man and had forgotten about him.

"Ray's mad at mom? Wh why? Let's tell her, let's let me know." Melisa who saw Ray angry like that kept smiling lightly and said with tolerance.

"It's about me going to the dorm." Ray said directly after gathering his courage. "Why doesn't he go to the dorm and I have to? Do you care more about her than I do?"

"No Ray, it's because I wish you had a friend." Melisa is honest about her goals.she does want Ray to be more open and have friends if she goes to the dorm.

"Then he didn't have it either. Why does he stay at home." Ray said angrily while pointing at Nico. Tears have fallen and are getting more and more frequent. His voice was even slightly trembling at this moment.

Nico at the side lowered his head in guilt. Was he indeed an unlucky carrier so someone who was good to him also suffered this fate. It's true that he can't be happy.

"Nico, go to my study." Melisa who saw Nico lowered her head was getting dizzy. Nico must have blamed himself in his heart.

Raising his head to stare at Melisa, Nico nodded and left Melisa's study.

Then she looked at Ray again. Sighing he massaged his temples because of them. "Your rays are different. You just need to get to know people and get a little closer to them if you want to make friends. Nico is very difficult for that. That's why I didn't put it in the dorm."

"What's different isn't it because she's a lover mom and mom don't love Ray anymore." Ray had noticed Nico from earlier was also more angry and sad. Didn't just have his mother look after the man, too.

"Enough Ray." Melisa who had been tired became angry at this moment. He accidentally yelled at Ray.

Ray gasped for Melisa's scolding. More complaints than ever were clearly visible on his face. As she was about to turn around Melisa immediately hugged her.

"I'm sorry Ray's mom, I accidentally yelled at you." Melisa took off her embrace and held onto Ray's shoulder. She was afraid that Ray would run to the room because of it.

"Isn't it because mom doesn't care about Ray anymore mom yelled at me." Ray looked into his eyes with determination.

"It's not like that. Didn't you call often? Why do you feel that you don't love you." Melissa said softly.

Remembering Ray was also silent because of it. His mother calls him often just to ask him how he is. It seems he has forgotten him because he feels his mother cares more about Nico.

"Mom never did not love Ray. I'm just afraid to get close to Ray, because Ray looks scared and uncomfortable if there's a mother." Melisa also explains the reason Melisa previously stayed away from Ray. If this persuasion worked, wouldn't Ray be closer and more open to telling his mother.

Ray was afraid of his mother. His mother used to always have a cold and estranged face. When she was close to him she always felt her mother disliked him because of the sharp gaze and alienation within her. She never really tried to get close to her mother.

Ifa's aunt always told her to be closer to her mother. Aunty always said mom always loved her and wouldn't be mad at her for no reason. So this time it was his own fault.

Ray was getting closer to his mother later because the feeling of alienation around his mother seemed to have disappeared. His mother was no longer cold in front of him.

If she knew what Ray was thinking, she would say that they were two different people. Melisa used to be so cold and isolated because she grew up with such upbringing. He's the only child in the family. He has to take care of the company and the intrigue in it as well.

Her husband who used to do business marriage with her was also fed up with Melisa's nature. So after the deaths of both parents in an accident, the husband dared to establish a relationship with his girlfriend.

When Melisa knows she does not care and is increasingly indifferent to the husband, they even divorced peacefully.

Melisa herself is a free person. Even though he had a problem with his father, at least he had someone beside him who would comfort him and look after him.

Ray himself also felt selfish for thinking about himself. He didn't think much about his mother's feelings. So Ray decided to get closer to his mother. "Sorry mother."

"It's okay." Melisa nodded with a smile and told Aunt Ifa to drive Ray to her room.

Melisa also tells Ifa's aunt to bring Ray's food to her room. He hoped Ray would calm himself down first.

Looking at Ray who was climbing the stairs slowly he also thought that his worries were really happening. It was fortunate that it passed peacefully or he would be more dizzy having to think of a middle path for it.

When Ray was no longer visible, Melisa turned her eyes toward her study. It seems like he also has to explain to Nico. The man would continue to blame himself and would even willingly leave this house.

Walking towards the study Melisa thought it was better like this. Ray will probably become more open and closer to her.
