Unlike most humans, Jovian has a sharper sense of hearing than humans in general. Undeniably, he could hear the girls who were addressing him a demon very clearly. Not wanting to hear it, he preferred to go back to class and sleep there.
"Jovians!" Jovian stopped his steps as he heard the voice of the girl calling his name. The girl approached Jovian and smiled at him.
"I thought you weren't going to sports hours." The girl still showed her smile.
"Why do you always approach me? You're not afraid of me?" asked Jovian who got a reply laughing amusedly from the girl earlier.
"Fearful? Why should I be afraid of you? Are you a ghost?"
Jovian looked at Ahri. She's the only girl who won't stay away even if she knows how Jovian is all along. More precisely, he was the only one who dared to talk to her.
"You don't have class?" jovian asked as she walked with Ahri to her class.
"Teachers in my class don't come in, so I don't have class."
Ahri sat on a bench located beside Jovian. The atmosphere of the class looks lonely because all students in class 11-3 are still in the field. There was only Jovian and Ahri there.
"Jovian can I go to your house?" Jovian looked at the girl sharply.
"Hey, don't look at me like that."
"You don't have to go to my house" said Jovian coldly. The man put his earphones back into his ears.
"Go away. Don't bother me."
"Yes! Whyyy?! Why do you keep banning me from your house?! You're not a bum, are you? You have a family and a home, right?"
Jovian kicked the table that was right in front of him to make some tables in the front row fall apart. The man never likes it when someone asks him such personal questions.
"Can't you just shut up?! Don't ever mind my business. Go." said Jovian sharply.
Ahri saw Jovian cynically, from the beginning he had prepared himself to be yelled at by Jovian. But, this was all he did for a purpose that he had arranged with someone.
"Alright," Ahri showed his fake smile back. "I won't force you, but sooner or later you'll have to tell me, okay?" "I went back to class first." said Ahri
Jovian still ignored what Ahri said. The girl left with a trifling smile engraved on her face.
"If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't want to go near you, even talk to you" she said slowly after completely dropping out of class.
Jovian glanced towards the door that Ahri had just passed. Jovian had known for a long time that Ahri was good to him not because he really cared or wanted to be friends with him. The girl is the girlfriend of one of the men who was battered at the hands of Jovian.
Sung Ha opens the classroom door and finds Jovian doing his daily routine −Sleep in class with his feet on the table−. Not wanting to care about it he immediately did his original purpose of coming to class. That is taking a bottle of water belonging to his friend, Hana. Jovian opened his eyes slowly and glanced at the girl who was taking a bottle from a bag.
"Has the sports hour come to an end?" jovian asked with his usual facial expression.
Although the expression was ordinary, the face still seemed cold and very flat. Sung Ha gasped as Jovian's heavy voice rang out in his ears. Even though they were in the same class, they had never talked at all.
"Never, I just picked up Hana's bottle of water" Sung Ha replied a little nervously.
Jovian closed his eyes again after hearing that answer. As Sung Ha was about to leave he delayed his intention and walked over to Jovian.
The man opened his eyes and glanced at Sung Ha who was already standing near his stool. Slowly Sung Ha began to open his mouth and say what he had wanted to say to Jovian for a long time.
"I.. I want to thank you for saving me back then. If you're not around, maybe I won't be able to breathe freely here." still don't lower his leg the guy took off the earphone that was attached to his head.
"When did I ever save you?"
"Didn't you remember? That night, in an alley, you beat up two men who just kept coming after me." Jovian smiled lightly.
"I hit people too often, so I don't remember. But, I only beat people up if that person bothers me. And I never felt like I was saving you."
Obviously the guy that night was Jovian. Sung Ha was very sure of it, because he saw it for himself. Her blond hair was swept away by the night wind and those eyes. Eyes that no one else has.
"But I'm pretty sure that the guy that night was you.. And.." Sung Ha hesitates to say it, but he only wants to know if what he saw that night was real or just his imagination.
"And I saw a pair of black wings emerge from your back." he continued.
Jovian looked up at Sung Ha's words just now. Why can he see it? The man lowered his leg. Jovian's face turned serious.
"Can you see it?" jovian asked if his hearing was wrong or not. Even if he knew he wouldn't listen wrong.
Sung Ha nodded slowly, confirming Jovian's question.
Sung Ha looked at Jovian strangely. This was the first time he had seen such a Jovian expression. The girl's eyes widened at the sight of black wings with a hint of blue flame suddenly coming out from Jovian's back. The same wing as the one he saw that night. Sung Ha almost yelled but Jovian quickly silenced Sung Ha's mouth with his hand and told him not to scream.
"Can you really see it?" ask Jovian to make sure.
Sung Ha just nodded assuring Jovian's question. The man let go of his hand that silenced Sung Ha's mouth then raised the corner of his lips, making a smile. The wing on the back of the man slowly disappeared.
"Interesting" he said, Sung Ha looked at Jovian with confusion and question marks.
"Why do you have wings like that? Who the hell are you?" ask Sung Ha.
Hana opens the door to her class. He decided to get his own water because Sung Ha did not return to the field. He saw a girl standing up.
"Yes! Sung Ha why are you long−"
Hana covered her mouth immediately with her hand when she found Sung Ha and Jovian looking at her. Hana did not see Jovian's presence earlier, because it was covered by Sung Ha's body.
"Pardon me." the girl was afraid that her presence would disturb Jovian. Not willing to take the risk he immediately went and returned to the field with the others.
"It looks like you've been waiting for. Next time we talk about this."
Jovian re-attached his earphones, raised his legs to the table and folded his hands under his chest and closed his eyes.
Although the question has not been answered, Sung Ha just left with a bottle in his hand. Feeling that the girl had left Jovian slowly opened his eyes again. The two hands turned to the back of the head, staring at the white-colored classroom ceiling.
"I don't think it's been ten years since any human could see my wings."
