Chapter 30's

Slowly Jovian's eyes opened. His hands were stretched out, his body bound to a pillar made of stone. The man's head still felt dizzy, his gaze was still a little blurry as well. But he could hear Taeyun's father's voice talking to another demon. Jovian could hear the sound of footsteps walking towards him.

"You're sober?" ask the owner of the move.

Jovian blinked his eyes a few times, making his eyes clear. Taeyun's father was standing in front of him right now.

"We meet again, Ky." said Taeyun's father.

After being aware enough, Jovian circulated his gaze to find out where he was now.

Whatisthis? Jovian could see the city of the demon world from there. He moved his eyes to the right and to the left. The palace? Is he in the palace? Jovian saw his body bound.

"What's this?" jovian asked for an explanation. "Why can I be here?"

Taeyun's father drew closer followed by several guardian demons carrying an enormous tube. Taeyun's father's right hand held Jovian's forehead.

"What are you doing?" jovian asked confusedly.

Taeyun's father said a word that Jovian could not hear clearly because it was too slow. Jovian coughed as Taeyun's father's left hand suddenly pressed against his chest.

"What are you.. Did it?"

Jovian coughed again and patches of blood came out of his mouth. His breathing was hunting as if he was feeling extremely exhausted. The man gnashed as he felt something inside his body being drawn out. A blue aura flowed into the large glass tube that was in front of Jovian.

"Aarrrgghhh!!"

Jovian grew increasingly violent as his strength slowly separated from his body.

"You watch him. Call me if there's anything." Taeyun's father told one of the guardian demons there.

Sung Ha walked to and fro in his room. It's noon, but Jovian hasn't come back yet. Since the early hours of the morning he had been traveling around Seoul but still, he could not find the man. Sung Ha circulated his gaze as he felt the air inside his room start to feel hot.

"Why is it suddenly hot here." he lamented.

Sung Ha came out of his room. He was surprised when he found the sofa where he used to sit was gone. He spread his gaze and again found some things disappearing.

"What's going on?"

Elsewhere, in the demon world. Jovian just kept attacking. He shouted as hard as he could, enduring the pain that could not be expressed in words.

One of the guardian demons standing near the tube whispered to the demon beside him. The demon that was whispered into immediately entered the palace. A few minutes later the demon returned together with Taeyun's father. Tae Hyun's father saw the tube was already full.

"Stop. This was enough." his orders to the demon beside him were instantly worked on.

Taeyun's father approached the now blue tube. He felt the surface of the tube as if amazed by the thing in front of him.

Jovian's face bowed, unconscious. Almost all of his strength was drained and entered into the tube.

"Dispose him to the human world." Taeyun's father orders some demons standing around him.

Sung Ha silently stared at a wall that he had not passed for long. At the touch of that cold wall. He tried repeatedly to write Ky's name. But the wall has not changed.

Sung Ha really doesn't understand what's going on. Why Jovian disappeared, and why his house also disappeared. Did something happen to him?

Test test test

Sung Ha raised his head as the water droplets began to fall from the sky. The girl was more pulled over as the rain fell more and more. He rubbed his hands because he was cold.

Brak!

Sung Ha was shocked when he heard the sound of falling objects. His eyes were fixed on a figure lying on the threshold of the alley. The girl narrowed her eyes, clarifying her gaze. The heavy rain made it difficult for Sung Ha to see the figure's face. But he seems to know the man.

"Jovians?"

The girl immediately ran over to Jovian who was lying on the road. He did not care about his body that was currently drenched in rain water.

"Jovian?!"

Sung Ha held onto both of Jovian's cold cheeks. The man's face was pale like the one who lost his life.

Feeling something strange, Sung Ha put his ear closer to Jovian's chest. He closed his eyes to feel the man's heartbeat.

Deg deg deg

Even though it was very slow Sung Ha could still hear it. The girl spread her eyes looking for someone who could help her. Sung Ha painstakingly told Jovian to take shelter in an alley that could only slightly protect them from the heavy rain.

Sung Ha leaned Jovian's body against the wall. The girl placed her palm on Jovian's chest and right then and there came a light from Sung Ha's palm.

"Please wake up."

Sung Ha stopped his activities. He looked back, looking at the rain that was still fluttering. With doubt the girl beat Jovian through the heavy rain.

"I beg you to hold on.."

Sung Ha and Jovian's body fell over. But repeatedly Sung Ha tried to get up and continue his steps by tapping Jovian's body which he thought was heavy. After a while, the girl arrived at a house. The floor of the place where Sung Ha stood had been wet from the water dripping from his body and Jovian.

"S-Sung Ha? What's going on?"

The girl looked surprised when she found out about Sung Ha and Jovian.

"Min Ri." he said softly. "Help me."

Min Ri catches Sung Ha and Jovian's body as the girl nearly falls.

"Min Jin! Come here!"

Min Ri brought a glass of hot chocolate and gave it to Min Jin. After replacing Sung Ha and Jovian's clothes with their makaiian. Min Ri and Min Jin let them sleep.

With a sip of that hot chocolate Min Jin was still thinking. When he changed Jovian's clothes. He felt that the man's body was too cold for a demon. Plus as he examined his pulse and extremely weak heartbeat.

"How is Sung Ha?" min Jin asked Min Ri who was sitting next to him.

"He was just a little feverish and exhausted. With sleep he will be able to recover by himself."

"Em."

"How about Jovian? He looked very pale earlier. Is she okay?"

Min Jin got up from his seat with a glass of hot chocolate still in his hand.

"Follow me" he said and entered a room where Jovian was.

Without perotes Min Ri walks after Min Jin.

With a sip of his hot chocolate, Min Jin continued to look at Jovian. "Look at him. I've only seen it like this for the first time."

Sung Ha walked over to Jovian who was lying on Min Jin's bed.

"Is he still alive?" min Ri asked when she saw Jovian.

"Yes. But, his heartbeat was so weak."

Min Jin placed the empty cup on the table near her bed.

"Min Ri, get a device to detect the aura."

"All right."

Min Ri immediately picked up the tool meant by his brother. As he wanted to go back to Min Jin's room he saw Sung Ha who had just come out of his room. He walked over to Sung Ha.

"You need to rest" he said.

"No. I have to see Jovian. Where's she?"

"He's in Min Jin's room. Come with me, I'll be there too."

Min Ri opened the door to Min Jin's room. He immediately placed the device near Jovian's body. Min Jin was slightly shocked to find Sung Ha's figure just entering his room.

"Sung Ha's? Why are you here? You should have rested."

"How is he doing?" he asked because since Sung Ha found Jovian in the street he seemed so worried about the man's situation.

"I can't tell you how she is right now."

Min Jin picked up a device that Min Ri had placed near Jovian's body. The man pressed a few buttons there. The next minute he wore glasses that were indeed the pair with the tools that Min Jin was currently carrying. He was silent for a while after seeing Jovian with those glasses.

"Sung Ha.." call Min Jin slowly.

"Yes?"

"How much power does Jovian have?" he asked without looking at Sung Ha.

"What do you mean?"

Min Jin took off the glasses he was wearing.

"The strength he possessed was very little. Maybe that's what caused Jovian to go unconscious. But, how could demons live with such minimal strength."

It was impossible if his strength was depleted just from fighting, and it was impossible if the descendants of the king seemed to have only this slight strength. Where is all the power he has?

With this tool, Min Jin could only see one fifth of the power in Jovian.

"Did something happen?" ask again.

"Actually.. The last night I talked to him there was a bit of debate between us. I ended up sleeping earlier than him. But when I woke up, early in the morning. I didn't find him in his room. And I took the initiative to look for him. And that's when I met you. After meeting you guys I went back to looking all over the place but I still didn't find it. When I get back home. I still can't find him. And before long, there was something strange about Jovian's house. The objects there were lost one by one like lost magic. I don't know what happened, but after I got out of that house. I can't go in anymore." Sung Ha explained at length.

"Where is the house?"

"Jovian's house is no ordinary house. He created it with the power he had and no one could enter it unless Jovian gave the key. From the outside you won't find anything but if you're already inside you'll be able to figure out that it's a house."

"You mean Jovian lives in the house he built with his powers?" ask Min Ri.

"Yes." Yeah."

"I guess that's why you can't open that house again. I think Jovian has lost so much strength that he is unable to defend the house." explained Min Jin, drawing conclusions.

Min Jin, Sung Ha and Min Ri stared at Jovian together. If it was true what Min Jin concluded, then what was the cause of Jovian losing his power? That was what Min Jin had in mind right now.
