Chapter 23

Sung Ha quickly turned his head to the left when he heard a loud enough voice. Did a rocket fall into that place? After that some loud clashing sounds came back.

"What the hell is going on?" muttered.

Soon the sound of the door opening sounded. Taeyun entered the room and opened the iron bars door that prevented Sung Ha from leaving.

Without a word he pulls Sung Ha by the hand, which forces the girl to stand up and immediately takes him away from the room he occupied.

"Yes! Where are you taking me?!"

Sung Ha pulled his hand in the opposite direction to Taeyun's pull. I don't want to be easily carried. But the man still pulled it which even made his wrist hurt.

"Yes!"

"Shush."

Brakk!!

The sound of the impact sounded so loud. Sung Ha's eyes widened to find a body he knew was tucked away right in front of him.

The man who had just thrown up got up and turned to the left, towards Sung Ha standing up.

"Sung Ha.." he muttered as he saw the girl Taeyun was pulling her hand.

Finding Ky in front of him Taeyun also chose to turn around to find another way. However, not wanting to let it go, Ky immediately chased after him and snatched Sung Ha from Taeyun's hands. Ky immediately took her away. Likewise with Taeyun he also did not want the girl taken for granted by Ky.

The three of them stopped as the wall to their right formed a hole and revealed a man who stopped them from going any further.

"Don't you want to kill me? Why did you run away?" said the man with a slightly soft tone.

Sung Ha holds the end of the jacket that Ky is wearing and hides behind it. Somehow he did not like the man who had just confronted him. Despite just looking at him, Sung Ha's body felt trembling and frightened.

"There's still something I have to do. But just calm down. I'll kill you as soon as possible."

To kill? Sung Ha stole a look at the man. Is he Ky's father? He thought because of the purplish blue flames that the man had.

Ky pulls Sung Ha by the hand and walks past his father. However, their steps were returned tehenti by the same figure. The man looked at the girl who was near Ky.

"Who is he?" tanyakanya.

"You don't need to know who he is."

Ky continued his steps. Ky's father accidentally sees a ring attached to the ring on Sung Ha's left finger.

"Wait." hold up the father. But Ky doesn't care about it and leaves, until a purplish blue flame blocks his steps. He turned to look at the father who was also eating it.

"That girl."

Sung Ha goes back to hiding behind Ky due to the fear of it re-emerging.

"Armour." he said, still staring intently at Sung Ha.

Sung Ha further hid his body not wanting to see that scary look. But some with Ky. The man understood his father's words. The armour? Looks like he's heard it.

"Jovians.. I want to go home. I don't like it here." said Sung Ha slowly.

"I'll definitely drive you home, I promise." he tightened his grip.

Whuss!!

The wind was like blowing with his firmness and eliminating the figure of the King who was originally in front of Ky. The man spread his eyes, worried. Not because of his father, but because Sung Ha also disappeared.

"DON'T!" he said because he was careless to keep Sung Ha.

He quickly ran past Taeyun who was standing looking at him. Taeyun did prefer to stay away or not interfere in the battle against the King. Because he knows. The power of the green fire demon would not be able to resist the King.

Sung Ha was surprised to find himself in a room he did not know what the room was. It's not alone. In front of him stood a figure of a man staring at him.

"Why are you still alive?" tanyakanya.

Sung Ha frowned in confusion.

"The boy.." said the man. "You are the forbidden son of Savaredia and my son, Armour. Armour should have killed you. But why are you still alive?" inexplicably.

Prohibited child? And.. Son of the son of the Demon King? Demon prince?

"Take off your ring." he ordered.

"What?" sung Ha was confused.

"Didn't you hear me?"

The man looked at Sung Ha sharply which made Sung Ha's body tremble in fear. Doubtfully Sung Ha took off the ring he was wearing. After a while the King grinned at the aura surrounding Sung Ha's body.

"Did Ky use you to avenge me?"

Sung Ha frowned again, not understanding.

"You never should have lived in this world." The king smiled wryly. "I don't think my son sacrificed just for a disgusting creature like you. Because of you, I have to erase all the demons' memories of Armour. And that was a waste of my power."

The king walked over to Sung Ha.

"And you must pay with your strength." Sung Ha retreated his steps out of fear. But too late, the King's right hand had been on Sung Ha's neck and lifted him up easily. The ring that Sung Ha had been holding fell to the floor. He clutched the king's hand hoping to release him.

"Take me off.."

Sung Ha narrowed his eyes. He felt his body getting weaker and his strength started to disappear.

"Jovian." he said softly until at last his vision darkened.

Sung Ha's body just fell down as the King released a grip on Sung Ha's neck. The king felt a great power flowing in his body. He laughed satisfied because of it.

BRACKET!

Ky easily makes a hole in each wall in front of him. An enormous anger had flowed within his body. His body that was enveloped by the blue fire just kept looking for a girl who had disappeared with his father. He stopped and turned around, looking back. He felt Sung Ha's aura approaching towards him. He smiled at the sound of approaching footsteps.

"Sung Ha.." call him.

But his smile was immediately lost when he found his father who came to him.

"You looking for this?" ky's eyes widened as the King revealed an image of the girl tied to a chain and with her eyes closed.

"Why is your face like that?"

Before long the picture disappeared by itself.

"I just got a big catch."

"YOU!"

Ky's lightning fast attacked the man.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM!"

The blue flames that enveloped Ky's body re-enlarged further enveloping his body. Attack after attack that Ky throws, but easily dodged and fended off by the father.

"I didn't hurt him. I'm just trying the power he has."

The king attacked Ky with a single strike that sent the man bouncing out.

"If I let that girl go around it's gonna be dangerous. I can't believe Armour sealed the power he had on his son."

The king looked quite surprised and pleased as the power he now possessed was much increased than before.

Seeing his son who had balanced his body in the air he immediately approached him for fun. For ten years he had no fun with his son. He quickly hits Ky's body. Ky resisted the attack with both of his forearms. But free, it remains pushed back and crashed.

"IS THAT JUST YOUR STRENGTH?!"

Ky returned to his body. He swept his lower lip that had no blood spots with his thumb. He grinned at the words of his father.

"Isn't that just a warm-up?"

The guard demons were busy passing by to deliver the demons of the lower class to evacuate. The battle that might last a long time because no one would want to succumb to it caused a break in the palace as well as outside the palace.

But in contrast to the figure of a man who was standing staring at two figures who were fighting in the air. The man raised the corner of his lips to form a grin.

"Prince Sean.." call the demon bodyguard.

"alright. I get it."

The man named Sean turned around and walked away from the area that was already quite stretchy as the guardian demons were about to finish their task of evacuating the demons.

Sean entered a room with only two torches burning with green fire. His arrival was welcomed by a man who had been in the room.

"Everything went according to plan" he said.

Sean sat on the couch there.

"I know. But it's all thanks to your son bringing that girl here."

"He's a flirt but he's also a reliable kid."

The battle between father and son has been going on for a long time but has not resulted in victory or defeat on either side. The houses around them were intangible again. The blows and explosions due to the strength of both sides caused destruction everywhere. But that didn't stop them.

Without Ky noticing a fireball has been pointed at him and hit his chest. Instantly the man lost his balance in the air and fell to the surface.

Ky fell right in a supine position. With a wound on his chest and with his breath Ky just fell silent looking at his father who was hovering quite far above him.

"Till any time you're still my son and you won't be able to match me."

The king pointed his palm right at his son's body lying on the ground.

"AND YOU BETTER DISAPPEAR FROM BEFORE ME FOREVER!"

An enormous flame shot out from the palm of the man's hand and precisely aimed towards Ky.

"Sorry Sung Ha.. I can't keep my promise to take you home.."

Ky smiled and slowly closed his eyes. He has given up on what will happen to him. And maybe this is the end of everything..

BOOM UP!

A huge explosion was heard in almost the entire demon world. It caused quite a thick smoke and rumbling sounds.

Slowly Ky's eyes opened. He saw a girl with two white wings standing at his feet. Is that Sung Ha? Ky can't see his face because the girl is behind him. But from her stature, the girl was similar to Sung Ha.

"Do you want to die?" ask the girl.

Ky knew that voice. It's not wrong if he's Sung Ha. Ky smiled thinly.

"Why are you here?" ask Ky.

Sung Ha turned around and looked towards Ky. I don't know why this is so embarrassing. He reached out his hand and helped Ky to stand up.

"You forget I have powers that you don't even know about?"

He's correct. Ky forgot that Sung Ha is an angel. Sung Ha turned his gaze upwards. Towards the king who was still up there.

"I'll finish it."

The girl flew after Ky's father.

"Yes! You are! Don't fight! He is my opponent!"

Ky tries to catch up with Sung Ha but his chest hurts from the injury caused by his father's attack earlier.

"Sung Ha's.. You won't be able to defeat him." he muttered when he saw Sung Ha who started attacking.

Ky wants to stop Sung Ha before it's too late, but the burns on his chest are severe enough to make it difficult to move.

Ky's eyes widen upon seeing his father hit by the attack that Sung Ha launched and fell. Before he could hit the surface, Sung Ha again attacked him and made the man harder to hit the surface until a large hole was formed along with the fall of the king.

Sung Ha immediately came down and approached Ky. He saw a burn on the man's chest and without Jovian telling him to bring his palms closer together, the wound was covered in light. Jovian just stared at Sung Ha's face, seriously treating his wounds.

"You're careless."

Still focusing on the wound on Ky's chest, Sung Ha only returned with a smile. Ky's vision is quickly sidetracked by a blaze that leads to Sung Ha's back. With a panicked face the man immediately changed his successful position making Sung Ha surprised.

Sung Ha's eyes rounded wide as he saw flames hitting Ky's back. Sung Ha held the man's body back from falling down. Ky coughed and blood came out of his mouth.

"Yes! What are you doing!"

Clear liquid came out from both of Sung Ha's beautiful eyes.

"Sorry.. I don't think I can take you home." he said softly. Jovian's back hurt a lot from the attack. The burn made a thick, reddish liquid from Ky's back.

"No. You have to take me home!"

With still crying. Sung Ha begins to treat Jovian's back.

"Go to the palace and look for the stairs that lead to the base of the palace. There was a door that connected the demon world and the angelic world. But if you want to go back to the world of man−"

"Be quiet! I'm treating you!" cut Sung Ha. "I won't let you die here!"

The sound of applause was heard from behind Ky.

"Good show" said the clapping man. Ky already suspected that his father would not die that easily.

Ky whispered something in Sung Ha's ear.

"We should hide. We can't fight it with this."

But Sung Ha did not budge, he still treated the wound.

"Sung Ha!" call Ky in a pretty high tone.

"You shut up! I'll save you first!"

Already half of the wounds on Ky's back had disappeared. But Sung Ha still wanted to heal him perfectly until there were no more scars on his back.

"Sung Ha's. Hear me. We have to go now."

"I think this show should be shut down immediately" the man concentrated his power on his right hand. "Thank you for comforting me, Ky. But good-bye."

He threw his concentrated power in his right hand towards Jovian and Sung Ha.

"Finished" Sung Ha said after finishing treating Ky's back. Ky quickly took out his wings and carried Sung Ha flying as high as possible, dodging the attack.

THE BRUUSS!

With a blink of an eye the attack swept across whatever was in front of him. No exception to the ruins of the house that looks swept clean higga into smaller debris.

Sung Ha still held his hand around Ky's neck in shock when suddenly the man carried her. For a long time their eyes met each other. Until they realize it, their faces begin to blush and Ky finally allows Sung Ha to fly by himself.

"Thank you." said Sung Ha.

"YOU HAVE MADE ME SICK!"

Ky's father quickly approaches Ky and attacks him in a row. But the attack was avoided. Because of Sung Ha's healing powers, Ky feels that his powers have been replenished. And he could fight full-fledged again now.

Ky held his palms together. And he recited a spell that he had discovered not long ago. The man resisted his father's attack by touching his father's lower arm and he returned to recite a spell. In an instant there was a large black cube without a pedestal on the king's body.

"Sorry.. I'll fix the whole system in this broken demon world."

Ky moved a little further and reunited his palms. The one who made the cube locked up the whole body of the king.

"I'm not gonna kill you.. Father."

The originally large cube shrunk to a small size as the King's body was locked inside.

The technique Ky just used was a technique to shackle and confine both spirit and soul. Yang Ky knew, the technique could only be used three times. Because if it is more than that, the user will immediately disappear because he can not hold the spirit and soul that he shackles.

Ky approaches Sung Ha who is confused about what happened. And took her down to explain what the man had just done.
