Devil Child's

Devil Child's
Chapter 3

Dull and dark buildings dot every corner of the region, the gripping atmosphere and terrifying aura made many people would not dare to come to the region. Unfortunately, no one can go there or live there. Because that place is the Devil World. A world where demons live and spend their days as a demon. And in that place was also led by a demon king who was famous for his ambitious nature and cruelty.

The brown-haired man opened a large enough door where there were carvings that humans would not be able to translate. With a throbbing sound, slowly the door opened. That door was the border door between the palace where the demon lord lived with the settlement where the lower class demons lived. All demons have great respect for their king. No one dared to oppose even arguing with the royal family. They knew very well what punishment they would receive if they opposed the king.

The man opened several doors again, until he arrived in a room so spacious, old books and some paintings decorate the place. No lights illuminate, only a row of torches that have a purplish blue flame that becomes the light of the room.

"Would you like to come here?" ask the king, to the man before him.

That space was indeed the space where the demon lord spent his days to take care of the world he led.

"Dad, hasn't this been over ten years? Why don't you take her back to the demon world? I think he's suffered a lot in the human world."

"My rule is absolute. And no one can oppose it including my own son. He had broken a long-standing rule made by the previous king. And I don't think he wants to go back to the demon world anymore."

"So he's still my brother."

"You and he were born to different mothers."

"But we have the same father. So he's still my brother."

"You better practice and increase your strength. You're still too weak to be a king."

"I was never interested in being a king" he said indifferently.

The fire that had surrounded the king, instantly grew and almost enveloped the entire room that the king and the brown-haired man occupied.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" the rumbling sounds sounded so loud.

"SEAN! YOU MUST BE KING AFTER ALL! COME OUTSIDE! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU!"

Jovian prefers to rest himself under a lush tree accompanied by his black earphones, instead of having to run around chasing a ball and throw the ball to a place that people usually refer to as ‘gawang’. He did not care if the homeroom teacher who was none other than his sports teacher rebuked him. Jovian is only willing to do something, if it will generate value for him. But this football game was just a warm-up and the man was not interested at all.

About five hundred meters from where Jovian closed his eyes. There were several girls gathered on the edge of the field, looking at him.

"You know, he hit our schoolgirl−again."

Some of the girls looked surprised by what their friend said.

"really? Jovian fighting again? If it continues like that he can definitely be expelled."

"He must have had his reasons for hitting them." Sung Ha said, making his friends turn to him, unaware of Sung Ha's presence beside them.

"When did you sit there?"

"Since then, why?"

"No.. But I heard he was fighting just because of an empty drink can. Isn't that overkill? And I heard the student was battered."

"Gruesome.. He's like the devil." The other friends make a sound.

Sung Ha just silently listened to every comment that came out of the mouths of his friends. As he looked towards the tree, where Jovian was asleep. The man went somewhere.
