Chapter 17's

Somehow Jovian felt very worried about Sung Ha's situation. He was afraid that the events of yesterday would repeat themselves and invited the demons to come near him. Even the worst thing is that Sung Ha can be killed. Jovian squeezed out the ballpoint pen he was holding as he recalled Taeyun's extremely annoying face to him. What is he planning? Without Jovian realizing it, the ballpon was broken in two.

"I'll kill you." said Jovian quietly.

But because of the quiet state of the class, Jovian's voice can be heard clearly so that all students look at him, not least teacher Kim who is writing in front.

Realizing that he was stared at by many eyes Jovian returned the gaze with the look of his eyes killing him, which suddenly made all people who looked at him turned their eyes including teacher Kim who incidentally was afraid of Jovian. The lesson continues again even with the atmosphere is quite awkward.

After the lesson ended, Jovian immediately looked for a man he knew named Jun Ki. The other one is Taeyun. The man was not in his class. Where the hell is he? Jovian searches for Jun Ki all over the school until he sees a talking man and girl who Jovian believes are Jun Ki and Ahri. Jovian immediately approaches him and drags Jun Ki to a place where there are not too many students, behind the school.

The man threw Jun Ki's body into it.

"What's your plan?" tanyakanya.

Jun Ki tidied up his clothes which he felt were already tangled because of Jovian's actions.

"That's a secret." she replied casually and smiled.

"Don't bother him anymore! And getting out of the body is cowardly!"

Jun Ki smirked. A coward? Just be right.

"You think it's more cowardly than a prince who doesn't even dare go home." Jovian grabbed Jun Ki's collar.

"You better shut up if you don't want to die here."

Jun Ki remembered something. He glanced at Jovian's legs who were standing firmly and seemed to have no injuries in the slightest.

"Was the angel also able to heal wounds?" Jovian was silent for a moment and removed his hand from Jun Ki's collar violently. "He's very attractive, isn't he? You can use it to avenge your father."

Jovian did not respond to Jun Ki and chose to change the subject.

"Get out of that body. He could die if you keep inside his body."

"I don't care if this body is injured or dead. He and I have made a pact that cannot be broken. You tau? If he breaks he'll die but if he follows the treaty he'll die too."

"What do you mean?"

"I think I've talked too much." Jong Kook put his hand in his pants pocket.

"I'm gone, there's something I still have to do."

Jun Ki showed a smile that I don't know what it means and left Jovian. What Jovian currently had in mind was what agreement Jun Ki made with Taeyun? The man was very confident that Taeyun had made a blood covenant with Jun Ki. But what's in it for Jun Ki?

Jovian gasps when he finds Sung Ha sleeping on his couch. What's he doing here? The man approached her and watched her for a moment. Sung Ha fell asleep hugging a red book. Feeling uncomfortable with Sung Ha's sleeping position, Jovian picked up the book and corrected his position.

Jovian put the book on the table and went to the room to change his clothes. After replacing the uniform with a gray t-shirt and with very matching jeans wrapped his body. The man immediately came out of his room and picked up the canned soda that the man had stored in the refrigerator.

He opened it and took it slowly. The man's eyes were again focused on the figure sleeping on the sofa. Without putting his sodas he approached Sung Ha and saw the red book on the table.

"What book is this?" he mumbled slowly out of curiosity. Why did Sung Ha go to sleep hugging the old book?

Jovian put the sodas and traded them for books. Slowly he opened and looked at every photo that was plastered on each sheet. He read the writing on the back sheet.

After finishing Jovian put the book back and took his sodas. He sat on the sofa opposite Sung Ha. His eyes could not escape from the figure that was sleeping.

Seconds change minutes. Minutes change hours. But Jovian still did not move from his place. Don't budge. The man was still faithfully staring at the girl. What was he thinking until he looked at her like that?

"Why?" tanyakanya.

But Jovian did not answer him and still stared silently at Sung Ha. Sung Ha begins to get uncomfortable with the look Jovian gave him and throws the pillow on the sofa he was sitting on.

"Yes! Why are you looking at me like that!" the pillow was right about Jovian's face.

Jovian picked up the pillow that had just hit him and threw it towards Sung Ha.

"Why did you throw me?! Huh uh?!"

"Why do you see me like that?"

"Who saw you?!" Jovian stood up and put his hands on both of his waist.

"If you just want to sleep here, go." the man ruffled his hair and left.

"Why him?" sung Ha was confused.

The girl saw a ring attached to her sweet finger. After reading the book, I realized there was no ring. He immediately returned to the police canteen but they said they only found a book. Convinced that the ring is still in Sung Ha's hospital room, head there and be sure. He found the ring lying on the floor. Why didn't the police find him? This ring is very visible.

If Sung Ha deduces from the message written in the book, this ring is the ring given by his biological parents. And he will take care of it as best he can.

Jovian returns and approaches Sung Ha.

"Why are you here?" tanyakanya. Sung Ha looked up at Jovian.

"Why? Aren't you letting me come here?"

Jovian thought for a while, remembering that he gave Sung Ha the key and allowed the girl to enter if she was in danger.

"You're being chased by the devil?" tanyakanya. Sung Ha shook his head.

"Ohh.."

Jovian sees something shining on one of Sung Ha's fingers. Jovian's widened eyes found a ring wrapped around the finger.

"When did you curse the ring?" ask her with a face that seems serious.

"This?" Sung Ha broke his fingers and looked at the ring he was wearing.

"This is the legacy of my biological parents. Wh why? Doesn't fit?"

"Can I see it?"

"certain."

Sung Ha took off the ring and gave it to Jovian. The man twirled the ring he had in his hand and scrutinized every detail of it.

"What's wrong?" sung Ha asked confusedly.

"No."

Jovian returns the ring and is accepted by Sung Ha. Jovian is sure to have read a book about Sung Ha's ring when he was a child. The motifs engraved on the rings would not be able to be made by humans.

"Sung Ha's. Can you keep the ring. And for now it's better you don't wear it."

Jovian could not explain what he was thinking and his memory was a little fuzzy because he had been reading the book for a very long time. He wanted to make sure of something first, before concluding it.

"Why?"

"Just obey my orders."
