Chapter 24's

Sean grinned at the explanation of one of the bodyguards who told him that his brother had won the fight. He stood up from the bench owned by Taeyun's father used to work.

"I'm leaving. I have to go back to playing the drama" he told Taeyun's father, who was sitting reading a book on the sofa. He went out and set his foot where he could speak to his brother.

Ky and Sung Ha enter the palace. Every demon who took refuge in the palace did not escape to notice the arrival of the two of them.

If viewed in accordance with existing regulations. If the Demon King dies, disappears for a long time, resigns, or is defeated by another demon. So the King is entitled to be replaced by his successor or the devil who has defeated the King. In other words. It is not impossible that Ky will be the next Demon King.

Ky and Sung Ha's steps stopped when they found a man walking towards them.

All the demons who were there in unison looked at Ky confused and surprised. They never would have liked Ky to have said that, giving the throne that was clearly in front of his eyes. It was not only the demons who were shocked. Sean and Sung Ha were also shocked.

"But.. I don't have powers like you and you're more talented to rule the demon world."

"I've been out of this world for over ten years and I don't know anything about governing. I believe you."

"alright. But you have to go back and stay here."

"sorry. But I'm gonna go back to the human world and live there."

"But Ky-"

"I'd better get going. And I'm waiting for good news from you."

Ky smiles at his brother and leaves in follow Sung Ha behind him.

"Are you sure you don't want to be King?" ask Sung Ha. Glancing at Ky's face.

"Yes. I believe Sean deserves the title of king."

Sean just stared at Ky's back which started to go out of the palace and until finally the figure completely disappeared. The man turned around and went back in through the door he had not been through for a long time.

"First clean the ruins and then I will use my strength to build everything as before" he told the man who had faithfully followed him everywhere.

"Then temporarily revoke the plan of attack on the angelic world. And execute our original plan."

"Understand."

The man bowed respectfully and left to let Sean walk towards his new room, the king's room.

Ky and Sung Ha are now right in front of the gate that separates the demon world and the human world.

"Are you sure you don't want to see your countrymen?"

Sung Ha shook his head.

"I have managed to use my power now. And someday I'll find my own way to get to the angel world."

"Are you sure?" tanya Ky made sure.

Sung Ha pulls Ky's arm through the gate in front of him.

"Let's hurry. Before I change my mind."

- Back to the Human World

A beautiful morning in Seoul. The rain that flushed the city last night made the morning air quite cold. Just like the days Sung Ha and Jovian had passed they went back to school and got along with humans.

After returning to the human world Jovian uses his powers to restore their lost days in the human world. Because the time in the human world and the demon world are different. An hour in the demon world is equal to just one day in the human world. And if counted they have disappeared for days. But because of Jovian's power. No one will realize they've been gone for days.

Jovian walks to his school. But at once the look on his face became very scary when the uniform that he was hit by splashing rain water that pooled, because a student cyclist accidentally passed through it. This made Jovian's uniform dirty.

"Yes! I'll kill you!"

Jovian chased after the cyclist before he managed to escape further and further. But because he was too focused on chasing the rider he did not see if there was a girl who had just come out of a house.

BRACKET!

"Aww.." groaned a girl who had just sat down slumped over being hit by Jovian.

Jovian looked at the girl he had just hit and then looked back at the cyclist's departure.

"Aish! Because of you I lost her!" disgrace.

The girl's hands and skirt were dirty because the sidewalk was still wet from the rain last night.

"Yes! You're the wrong one! Why run like that?! You don't know the road is still slippery?!"

The girl stood up and cleaned her dirty hands and skirt.

Jovian looked at the girl's appearance from the bottom up. He was wearing the same suit. But he never saw it.

"What do you see?"

The girl crossed her arms around his chest.

"Freak man."

The girl passed by leaving Jovian who was still standing in the same place. And soon he resumed his path.

Sungha who saw Jovian walking a short distance away from him immediately called out the name of the blond man.

"Jovians!" call him while running to Jovian.

"The human world is the most fun." He said as he managed to balance his steps with Jovian. Sung Ha accidentally sees Jovian's dirty-looking uniform.

"Why'd you?" tanyakanya.

"It's because of someone who wants to take his life in my hands."

"Is your power not to be used to clean up stains?" ask Sung Ha.

"You think my magic is being directed?"

Sung Ha chuckled at Jovian's words. The girl held onto the part of Jovian's shirt that was smudged and the stain disappeared. And that made Jovian a little surprised.

"Take this as a bonus for you" he said, then ran ahead of Jovian.

"Yes!" call him. "Aissh! Don't use 'that' carelessly!" yelled Jovian who was either Sung Ha listening or not.

Teacher Han entered the classroom to introduce a new disciple who had just moved in today. He let the girl in and told her to introduce herself.

"Hi everyone, my name is Kim Min Ri. From today I will be a student in this class. Please bim−"

The girl stopped her introduction session when she saw Jovian sitting in the right corner of the class.

"Freak man."

Without Min Ri realizing it he pointed directly at Jovian's face from the front of the class which made all eyes turn to look at Jovian. But Jovian did not really care about it and considered the wind.

"What's Min Ri?" ask teacher Han.

Aware of his strange attitude he stopped pointing at Jovian and returned to his usual attitude. How foolish he was, to embarrass himself on his first day of school.

"No."

"Then you can wait a little. I told someone to drop off your desk."

Before long the table that would be Min Ri's seat came and teacher Han had the man who lifted her put her behind Sung Ha's stool.

"Thank you~"

Teacher Lee's lesson is over. The students began to leave the class. Only a few students remained in the classroom.

Jovian came out of the toilet and went back to class. At the sight of Min Ri who was eating his provisions on his stool and several other girls who were reading textbooks. The man walked towards his stool and sat quite rough there which made Min Ri turn her eyes away from being distracted.

The girl sighed because of Jovian's strange behavior. He then took his vibrating phone. He saw a message that read a name he knew very well, Min Jin.

- How's it going there?

Is it fun there?

Minri immediately replied to the message.

- I don't know. Maybe I'm fucking shit today. My first day of school my new shirt was dirty because this morning someone hit me..

- Hahaha, then what did you do to that guy? You didn't kill him, did you? Don't forget why you were there, and don't kill anyone.

- Ani's. Take it easy I didn't kill him. Yes, arraso.

Kinggg!

Min Ri immediately put in her phone and drained her provisions when she heard the bell had rung. The students go back into the classroom to return to follow the remaining lessons. Soon enough, Jung's teacher enters the class and begins the lesson.

Time seems to go by so fast. Students leave school to go home or play outside. Sung Ha approached Jovian who had just finished packing his things.

"Jovians. Can I go to your house?" tanyakanya.

Like the old Jovian, the man went back to being cold to her. Not just to him, but to anyone.

"No." she replied and left Sung Ha.

The girl followed Jovian from behind.

"Don't follow me. Go." said Jovian without seeing Sung Ha following him.

But the girl did not answer. Has he not followed Jovian anymore? The man looked back. And he saw Sung Ha smiling at him.

"I told you not to follow me! I don't like people following me!"

"Alright, I won't be swearing at you anymore."

Sung Ha steps past Jovian and smiles mischievously at him. Stupid Jovian, did he forget I knew the keys to his house? Think Sung Ha. Jovian looked at Sung Ha's back in confusion. Why her?

The man returned to his feet but his steps came to a standstill when a girl suddenly came out of the yard of a house and almost hit the girl. The girl was shocked as she almost hit the man who was currently standing before her.

"Yes! You again!" yelled the girl.

Jovian sighed when he found out who the girl who almost hit him was.

"Do you have no eyes?" jovian said in a mocking tone.

"What's? Yep! You have no eyes! You hit me this morning!"

"I didn't hit you, you were the one who suddenly walked out of your house!"

The girl looked towards the watch that was adhering beautifully to her arm rest.

"Just talk to you!"

The girl just left Jovian. But not yet gone, the girl's arm restrained by Jovian's hand.

"What else do you want?!"

The girl's eyes widened as Jovian kissed her lips. Instantly a pair of white wings came out from the girl's back. And that made Jovian lift up next to the corner of his lips. 'I've guessed' her inner self. Without saying anything the man left leaving Min Ri who was still fixated.

"Y-yeah! What are you doing!"

Min Ri shouted to Jovian who had walked away. But the man walked on without caring.

"You.. Yep! Strange fellow!"

Min Ri was still pointing at Jovian who was getting away.

"Review you! I'll kill you!"

The girl immediately turned around and walked with hunting steps to where she really wanted to go. Maybe today is the second day for Min Ri.

Min Ri entered a cafe that is quite famous in Seoul. He looked around, looking for the figure of the man he really wanted to meet.

From a distance, a man sitting on one of the benches in a famous cafe waved his hand when he saw a girl he knew entering the cafe.

"Here" he said calling the girl.

The girl approached him and sat down on the empty bench that was in front of him.

"Ahhh it seems like today I'm really unlucky." muttered Min Ri in front of the man. The man laughed at the behavior of the girl who was none other than her twin.

"You why? Has anyone littered your shirt again?"

Min Jin again drank the coffee that he had ordered earlier.

"No. Even worse than that. He suddenly kissed me."

Instantly Min Jin choked on hearing the words of his twin sister. Did he say? Kiss?!

"Yes! Who would dare to do that to you?!"

"Aish.. That guy really."

Min Ri was still grumbling as she recalled the incident earlier. That guy really sucks!

"Yes! Tell me. Let me teach him a lesson!"

"Are you going to teach him a lesson? Aren't you the one who wouldn't let me hurt people?"

"Ahh, forget that. I've got information about him."

Min Jin gave her some papers and a photo of her father, mother, and a daughter. Min Ri took the file and read it.

"The photo was taken a long time ago. They are his parents in the human world. But I heard they died horribly. Their deaths are still a mystery."

"Then this kid?"

Min Jin nodded.

"That kid is Sung Ha. Your classmates."

"Sung Ha?" reworked.

Min Ri remembered the name again. If not wrong, he had met the girl sitting in front of him. His name is Sung Ha.

"So you're saying he's our target?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Min Ri went back to reading every word written on the file.

"Did he know who he really was?"

"I don't know. I haven't met him. And you better be careful. I heard there are some demons that often roam the human world. Never show your indiscriminate identity."

"Okay, I get it." Min Jin got up from his seat.

"If there's no question, I'm leaving."

Min Ri simply nodded her head letting the man go.

"alright. I'll finish it soon and go home to my world" he said, putting the file in his bag.
