Next day.

Sarmi woke up with a very happy face. He sat down and leaned against the god-gode wall to gather his consciousness.

She looked around for her husband who she loved so much. However, as far as her eyes looked in the garden area, she did not find the figure of her husband.

”Where did my husband go so early in the morning, well?”

He got up from his seat, walked towards the house and climbed the stairs until he entered the house. There she did not find her husband, she only saw the cheerful faces of her children who were still asleep, as well as the face of her mother who was still asleep.

After being satisfied to see the faces of the children he loved, he again went down the stairs to go down. He lit a fire to boil hot water as well for cooking. He cooks using a stove and dry wood as his fuel.

After he finished cooking, he prepared tea in a small water thermos for them to eat with steamed sweet potatoes. He returned to the stairs to wake his son and his mother for breakfast.

Sarmi told his children to take a bath before they had breakfast and he bathed the one-year-old Endang himself. In the garden, there are several springs that appear, Halim utilizes the springs that exist by making small times for their baths and other springs, Halim, he made them use it for cooking and drinking.

After all had finished bathing and taking turns, they ate their breakfast and while again eating breakfast, Halim came to bear firewood.

Apparently he got up early to find firewood, apparently he deliberately collected firewood for me as long as he went wandering.

”Papa, have you arrived? Let's sit here.” invite Sarmi. He patted the floor nearby.

Halim smiled, he sat down next to his wife.

”Good morning Mother, good morning children.” greet her to mother-in-law and her children.

”CREAM morning, Papa!” suhut compact children.

”Good morning, Halim. You're looking for enough firewood Halim. Yesterday also you just looking for firewood.” said the mother-in-law.

”Yes mother, I deliberately collected a lot of firewood, so that mother and Sarmi do not need to find firewood anymore, especially when Halim is not in the garden.” said Halim said.

He saw his children. ”What Papa's kids have taken a shower?”

”Have a shower dong, Pa! Halim Cudah!” answer the kids compactly.

Halim smiled happily at her excited children.

Sarmi brought her a cup of tea and a plate of sweet potatoes which she had prepared for her husband, before she distributed them to her children and her mother.

”Breakfast first, Pa. Mama has prepared for Papa.” she said, she put tea and sweet potato steam in front of her husband.

”Thank you, Mama.”

Halim looked at his wife's face with a friendly smile. He also looked at the shady faces of his children in turn.

Tomorrow, I will leave all of you, I will definitely miss these times with you. Togetherness, laughter, and the noise you always call Papa, Papa.

Halim's eyes began to glaze over thinking of that. Sarmi realizes, she clasps her husband's fingers to calm him down.

Halim turned to look at his wife, he smiled back at his beloved wife's smile.

After finishing breakfast the next morning. Halim began to talk about her departure to her son and in-laws.

”Mother, children, tomorrow, Papa will leave for city A to make a living for our survival. What do you think, Mother?” halim asked his father-in-law.

”Mother is okay, the important blessing of your wife and children, Halim. And the important thing is that you also have to take care of yourself while there.” replied the Mother

”Iya, mother, Halim will always take good care of themselves there.” said Halim.

”How about you kids?” ask her son.

”Papa, Papa Bawain Ita play makak, Ita want to makut papa, Mama uga Granny.” sahut Ita.

Everyone laughed at their funny words.

”Yes, Papa promised, Papa will bring you toys according to your request. But you have to promise Papa something! You guys want to not promise Papa?” said Halim. Sarmi and the mother just smiled happily at the interaction of the child and papa.

”Mau..Papa I want..” exclaim them compactly.

”Alright, let's promise!”

Halim raised her little finger, her son also lifted the little finger and hooked it on Halim's little finger.

”I promise, I will obey Mama and Grandma. I promise, I won't make Mama and Grandma worry. I promise, I will not make Mama and Grandma cry.” said Halim and her children follow each of his words compactly.

”Good! Smart kid! Don't break promises, well.”

”Yes, Papa!” suhut they are compact.

”Iya, Pa. Be careful on the road, Pa!”

”Iya, dear.” sahut Halim.

He kissed his wife. He went to the village on foot. After a few minutes had passed, he had reached the village and now he was again standing in front of Anton's parents' house.

”Assalamu 'alaikum, Anton.

He kept calling Anton by occasionally typing his door. But, as he called, there was no word from anyone in the house.

Halim heard the sound of a motor behind her. He looked up and it was Anton.

”Eh, Halim.” greet the new Anton coming with his mother from the market. He shut off the motor. He came down and approached Halim. ”It's been a long time?”

”Not yet, I just arrived.” replied Halim.

”Let's go inside!” bring Anton.

It precedes the step to enter the house. Halim followed behind him.

”Please sit!” he said it again while sitting down.

Halim sat on the bench, facing Anton.

”How? Are you interested in going there? Does your wife approve of her?” Anton directly talks the point directly to Halim, because he knows what the purpose of Halim's arrival to his home.

”Iya, I intend to go there. And Alhamdulillah, my wife bless him.” replied Halim.

Anton smiled happily as Halim accepted his offer. He was eager to return the favor to Halim because he had saved his wife's life.

”Alright, you wait here for a moment, I will get the ticket first.” Anton said. Halim nodded.

Anton went into the room, a few minutes later he came back again holding a ticket in his hand.

”This is the ticket.” He gave the ticket to Halim. Halim took it and read it.

Halim frowns, ”But, on this ticket your name is written, not my name!” said it.

Anton smiles. ”Yes, the ticket says my name. But, I've already diverted it with your name. I called the counter to change my name on your behalf. So, tomorrow you have to go down early in the morning to the port. The pocket is there and you show them my ticket later. They will change the name on the ticket in accordance with your ID card.” he explained.

”Oh, so? All right, thanks Anton.” said Halim sincerely, he kept the ticket in his pocket. Anton nodded. They shake.

”Then, I go first.” he said again farewell.

”Why rush? We had breakfast together.” haggard Anton.

”No need, Anton. Again, thank you for the offer, but, before here I had breakfast.” said Halim rejected Anton's subtle offer.

”Alright then, I won't force you.” said Anton relented. He did not want to force Halim's will.

”Thank you, I go first.” Halim repeated goodbye.

He stood up, Anton stood up. Anton escorted Halim to the porch.

”Be careful on the road, Halim. Good luck!” he said he gave his spirit to Halim.

Halim nodded and smiled in response, ”Thank you.”

Halim goes to the house of his brother-in-law, Mila the sister of his wife. Mila's life is not the same as Sarmi's. They are the kerosene agents in the village. And also, her husband had a bus for his livelihood. Therefore, Fatma the first child of Halim and Sarmi chose to stay with Mila in order to stay with them.

”Assalamu 'alaikum.” says Halim.

”Eh, Sister-in-law? Wa'alaikum hail! My own sister-in-law? Come in, brother.” invite Mila kindly welcome the arrival of Halim, her sister-in-law.

Halim entered, but did not enter the house, he just sat on the front porch chair.

”Yes, just me alone. How is Fatma? Did he trouble you?”

Mila smiles, ”No, Sister. Fatma is a diligent child. I like it.”

”Oh, if he does the wrong thing, please reprimand him, don't let.”

”Take it easy, sister-in-law! Fatma is not a wayward child.”

”Alhamdulillah then! I'll go home first. Later, tell Fatma to come home. I was waiting for him there.”

”Iya, Brother. I'll tell Fatma.”

”Hum, I'm going!”
