When he turned to look behind them, he realized that two other cars were also blocking them from behind.

Four other cars were also parked on each side.

“How can we not have a signal here?” Xu Mingjing asked worriedly.

It was practically impossible not to get a signal in B City unless they were in a tunnel or underground.

“Hai! Check if your phone has a signal.” Xu Mingjing then urged his daughter and driver.

The other two quickly pulled out their phones.

“I also got no signal,” lamented Yuan Keqing.

“This is impossible,” exclaims the driver and quickly removes the toothpick from the glove box. He then used a toothpick to open the SIM card slot and took it out. “Nona, do you have an eraser?”

Since the exam only allowed students to use pencils, it was normal for Yuan Keqing to bring along some erasers as well.

Yuan Keqing opened his bag and picked up the eraser for his driver.

The driver then clears the chip with an eraser and restarts it. Unfortunately, he still did not get the signal.

“SIM Card works fine.” The driver nodded.

Xu Mingjing looked out the window once more. The cars were still parked around them, but not a single person came out of them.

“They must have some kind of signal jammer. They're trying to separate us from the outside world, ” the driver speculates.
