“At least I think if he doesn't have the time and energy to do all three of those things at once, it will affect his performance. From what I see, Tan Mo did very well just by dividing his time between his majors and Professor Gu's research team. It proves that he can do both together,” Shen Jingyi explained slowly.

“But if he joins us and is tired of doing all three things together, which one will he prioritize? He might be focusing on our research first because he just joined us, so he would have to sacrifice his time with his studies or Professor Gu's research. Or, he might think that since he just joined us, he didn't need to pay much attention here at first."

Shen Jingyi paused and closed her eyes, trying to hide her intentions before continuing, “After all, wouldn't it be bad if she couldn't focus on the things she did? He would basically waste the team's resources and time. This is very unfair to those who are really focused on research. Of course, I am not implying that Tan Mo will do that to us. It's just that no matter which side he chooses, it will never be fair.”

Professor Tang turned his head to glance at Shen Jingyi, and it made him anxious for a moment before he quickly calmed down.
