Chapter 196: Selfish Companions

Tan Wenci and Xu Mingzhen and their three sons greeted the Qin family before sitting alone.

Qin Muye had no choice but to sit next to Qin Mufeng. He believed he was good enough to compete with Wei Zhiqian.

“Momo,” call Qin Muye, hug Qin Mufeng's arm.

Qin Mufeng turned to look at him and sighed. It seemed like Muye was planning to challenge Wei Zhiqian again…

He couldn't help but glance at Tan Mo, though, unable to understand which part of her managed to lure Wei Zhiqian and Qin Muye to the point where they would fight each other just to prove who was more important to Tan Mo.

“Why don't we visit Qing later?” Qin Muye suggested.

As Qin Muye saw the frown on Wei Zhiqian's forehead, he tilted his head with an arrogant smile on his face. He finally managed to get a reaction from her.

If he himself was not enough to challenge Wei Zhiqian, then all he had to do was do it with someone else.

All he had to do was carry the name Ming Yeqing. Two friends are always better than one.

And as Qin Muye expected, Tan Mo nodded vigorously. “Yes! Let's do that.”

“Are you not in the same university as Ming Yeqing? Don't you guys meet often?” Wei Zhiqian frowned, not realizing that the two of them were now good friends.

Wei Zhiqian then pulled out his phone and sent a message to Qin Mufeng. “What's with Muye? Does she and Ming Yeqing have anything to do now?”

After sending the message, he thought for a moment before sending another one. “If that's the case, then as your friend, I should warn you. They were young and reckless, and who knew what the future would bring? I'm not worried about Ming Yeqing because he has already entered Beijing University, and the pressure is gone. With his talent, he could do whatever he wanted without worry. But Muye is a completely different story. He's still in High School. Shouldn't they wait until she graduates? Wei Zhiqian was confident that Qin Muye would not face any problems with his studies under normal circumstances because he had the genes of his parents.

It was not the end of Wei Zhiqian's message as he typed one more message. “What if this affects his test results and he cannot enter Beijing University? Qin Mufeng read the message that Wei Zhiqian kept sending him and chuckled.

Without much choice, Qin Muye decided not to call Ming Yeqing because it was useless.

What she did not expect was that her brother would insist that she invite him home. “Are you not going to call him?” Qin Mufeng asked.
