CHAPTER 53

"Where's Cleo?" Kiano again saw the luxury watch on his wrist. It had been almost an hour that she waited for Cleo but the beautiful woman had not been seen yet. Kiano grabbed his phone and started calling Cleo.

"Hallo!" instantly a smile was implied as Kiano heard Cleo's voice.

"Don't you forget my promise?" ask Kian.

"No. I'm on my way there" he replied.

"Well, I'll wait for you!" Kiano disconnected the call.

"Manager wants to see you." I read the chat sent by Omar. He didn't say anything. Kiano put his phone back on the table.

Cleo arrived at the restaurant ordered by Kian. Upon entering, he was immediately greeted by the waiter who was there.

"Is there anything we can help you with?" tanyanya friendly.

"My friends have reservations" Cleo replied.

"Do we know in whose name?" ask the woman with the donut-shaped hair.

"Kiano Devandra" he replied.

"Please come with me, Miss." Cleo followed the woman towards the VIP room. When the door opened, Kiano was already there.

"Sorry, I'm late!" cleo said as soon as he was in front of her.

"It's okay." Kiano let him sit. After that, the waiter started to record all their orders.

"Are you waiting for me?" ask Cleo.

"Hmm, good!" Little laugh.

"I'm sorry, I had an operation that I couldn't leave." she explained, Kiano nodded.

"No problem! You just come, I'm happy." Kiano looked sweet with a smile on his face. The waiter came and served food on the table, after which he left them.

"Why should I order a VIP Room like this?" cleo asked as he stuffed the steak he had cut into his mouth.

"I just want you to be comfortable" she replied.

"I'm always comfortable everywhere." Cleo replied.

"But I'm afraid you'll be distracted, if we're in a public place." Kiano still hasn't told me who he really is. "How was your day at the hospital?" tanyakanya.

"busy. I didn't have time to rest" she replied. "Why did you suddenly invite me to eat here?" ask Cleo.

"I just got back from out of town. Suddenly your mind." Cleo nodded.

"Have you ever met Sandra?" Cleo hadn't seen her best friend in a long time. Their communication was also cut off.

"I've never been in contact with him again." replied Kian.

"I wonder how it is. I've been meeting with Nayla lately, but I haven't met her." Kiano looked up and looked at him.

"Did he say something to you?" ask Kian. He remembered their last meeting in the hospital.

"No." lied.

"Sandra once told me that her father married Nayla's mother. Really true?" Cleo nodded. "So right now they're brothers" he said.

"I hope he doesn't have any trouble" Cleo said.

"You still care about other people." Kiano smiled.

"He's not someone else. He's my best friend!" the answer.

"Darling, where have you been?" as soon as he arrived at Vincent's house, Jasmine immediately greeted him with joy.

"I'm sorry, Mama! Last night I went home." she replied while in Jasmine's arms.

"Darling, my mom was really worried" he said. Cleo was instantly filled, only this time she got this much attention from a person she called mama. "Don't do that again! Let me know where you go." Cleo nodded with teary eyes.

"Have you eaten?" tanyakanya.

"Already, Ma. Cleo just met a friend in high school." he explained. "Then Cleo went to the room first!" Jasmine nodded. Cleo walked upstairs. He was hesitant to open the door, but he had no other choice.

"Thank God! He doesn't exist." Cleo breathed a sigh of relief, there was no sight of Andreas there. He walked towards the sofa, he put his bag there.

"Where have you been?" Cleo was surprised to find out that the man had just come out of the bathroom.

"So you didn't listen to me at all?" Andreas looks furious. "Where are you going?" Andreas gripped Cleo's hand.

"Take me off!" Cleo rebelled.

"Didn't you listen to me?" he stared at Cleo.

"You!!" Cleo was annoyed, Andreas looked towards his phone that was ringing. Then he simply let go of Cleo's hand and immediately grabbed her phone.

"Hallo!!" his voice sounds soft. "What are you doing?" Cleo stared intently at him. Cleo walked towards Andreas' walk in closet, her clothes were there. After that he came out and still saw Andreas talking on the phone. Every now and then he laughed, Cleo was completely exasperated.

"Who does he think he is? I can't do this or that. While she was engrossed in connecting with her female friend." her grunts while in the bathroom. Cleo was very sure that Andreas' interlocutor was a woman, as he always looked gentle and friendly to his interlocutors.

"Where is he?" Andreas who had finished talking to Cantika was looking for Cleo's whereabouts.

"TOK TOK." Andrew opened the door.

"Sir, the lady called for the master and the lady" said the waiter.

Andreas turned his head inside, he tried to find Cleo's whereabouts. He walked towards the bathroom, and he faintly heard the sound of water coming out of the shower. After the yakon that Cleo was inside, he came out from there and approached Jasmine who was relaxing in the living room.

"What's up, Ma?" he sat next to Jasmine.

"Where's Cleo?" tanyakanya.

"He was taking a shower" he replied.

"Why did you want to meet us?" Andreas is sure there must be something that Jasmine wants right now.

"Darling, don't you guys have any desire for a honeymoon?" Andreas was shocked to hear his words.

"Honeymoon?" reworked.

"Yes, usually every newlywed would want that." she explained.

"I'm busy right now, Mom." Andreas doesn't want to make Jasmine sad.

"But, aren't there many other doctors in the hospital? You can take time off." he suggested.

"But Cleo's a new employee. He can't take leave yet" he said. Cleo came down and joined them. He sat next to Jasmine.

"Really, Son?" ask Jasmine.

"What's right, Ma?" since he had just joined, Cleo did not know what they were discussing yet.

"Can't you take a leave of absence?" ask Jasmine.

"The holidays? What's for?" ask Cleo.

"So you can have a honeymoon." replied Jasmine quickly.

"Huh?" Cleo was surprised she looked at Andreas who was sitting in front of her.

"What's honeymoon for, Ma? I am very busy at the moment. So, it's impossible to just leave my job." Andreas looked at him in silence.

"I don't think that's necessary, Ma." sidelines Andreas. Jasmine looked disappointed. He intended to bring them closer together, therefore he planned all of this. "Tomorrow, Cleo and I will stay in the apartment." Jasmine was surprised by Andreas' words, even more so with Cleo.

"Apartment?" ask Jasmine. Andreas nodded. "But, why?" Cleo was still staring at him, she also wanted to know the reason.

"Mom knows we're in a match. We don't even know each other personally. So, I want to stay alone with Cleo. That way we'll get to know each other and understand each other." Jasmine seemed to be thinking about her words.

"But why should you stay in the apartment? Here you can too." said Jasmine.

"Cleo is not free. She feels awkward with mom and dad. That's why yesterday he went home to his parents." Cleo's eyes grew bigger, he couldn't believe Andreas could make up such a story.

"Really, honey?" jasmine asked, Cleo just kept quiet. "Well, if that's your decision. Mama will tell your dad when he gets home." Jasmine finally gave up. He did not want Cleo to get any more uncomfortable with them.

"What did you say?" Cleo asked as they were already in the room. "Who said I'd stay with you?"

"I don't need your opinion" he replied.

"But why should it be in your apartment? Can we stay at my house?" tanyakanya.

"I don't like mingling with people I don't know." the reason.

"But, I don't want to stay alone with you." Cleo cut up.

"Like it or not, you're coming with me! If you refuse, I can drag you." Andreas took the keys to his car and left Cleo just like that.
